Thanks for the rep point. Permalinks are not a plugin they define the link structure of the post. Ideally the link structure should be http://www.youdomain/post-title so for example http://www.yourdomain.com/day-game-guide-medellin
To get your onsite SEO right the easiest way is using the WP plugin called Yoast SEO. That plugin also generates an automatic updating sitemap for you. It also makes it easy to build your Meta Titles and Meta Description.
Once you setup with your onsite SEO register your site with Google Webmaster Tools and submit your sitemap there. This helps you to get your new posts indexed faster and it also alerts you if Google should classify anything about your website as spam.
And while you there also setup Google Analytics. Yoast also has a plugin for a very easy setup.
I can't stress enough that anyone who wants to generate a location independent income via generating visitors through organic traffic should learn at least the basics of onsite and offsite SEO before getting started.
