Let me give it a shot, especially for this flag-obsessed forum. Salamanca, Spain.

Basically Salamanca is in the middle of nowhere, a 1000 year old University.

1) Girls come here from all over Europe (and California) to learn Spanish.

2) It's a small city. There's no beach. No super obvious tourist attraction. All there is... is bars and clubs.

3) The summer population is transient. No significant others, No shame.

4) Its Spain so the siesta lifestyle fuels never-ending late-night partying and it doesn't cost much unlike Madrid/Barca/Santander so everyone can participate.

5) Girls want their "souvenirs" and they're there without family or, in most cases, pre-set friends.

6) The Euro women come from an incredible variety of liberal places and the ones that aren't are ready to try out stuff they wouldn't at home. Helpful for an african american like me.

7) The Euro women are educated stylish types.

8) Its all based around the university, so everyone has a common ground

Because of this confluence of factors, not only is it incredibly easy to pull smart, attractive women, but you have all of Europe there in one place. Flags are there for the taking.

My second night there: in a bar a Belgian woman was tired of hearing her friend talking about me, so she came over to me, we talked...and then when I passed her test, got her friend, brought her to me and put her hand in mine. Good Godiva.

The place is crawling with French women...I got addicted to them in Salamanca.
Almost had to build a giant conveyor belt to take 'em all to the beach in Portugal on the weekends.
They're all nice and tan (the way I like my Euros) because its Spain.
I never knew German women were so cool.

Hell even the notoriously hard-to-hit Italian women were playing along to a lesser extent. I recall one kinda' aloof American dude being in the right place at the right time with a ("good girl") hot Italian woman who was leaving the next day. But she wanted her souvenir. Never in history has such a man got such a tasty, yummy, wonderful Mediterranean-dwellin' Ligurian babe without much effort. I'll never forget him saying the next day; "Oh man. The best thing that will ever happen to me has already happened to me."

Thanks Mixx. After taking ideas, I figured I'd better contribute here.

Yes, my assumptions about French women liking me became a self-fulfilling prophesy. IMO, French women are very interesting women with a highly developed personal sense of style. They are proud of this. They always have something interesting and unique on, the opposite of the Abercrombie scene.

So basically, once I saw her (or rather HEARD her) , I'd pick out something interesting she was wearing. Then I'd approach and ask her about it. Because of their mindset there's always a story behind a scarf or a necklace, where it came from, etc, so it gets into geographic conversation, my strong point. It can go personal, to their family, travels, etc. an easy way to get to that great conversation level.

After that angle was done, I'd build off the object into the racial thing by explaining to her that I admire the French style because its so similiar to the African American tradition, blah blah- taking random objects and using them build a unique look, often without money. So now I have a bridge into my scene, and now they're into it. Plus they believe that they're superior to the US because they treated Miles Davis and Charlie Parker better in the 50s. (I love jazz and can exploit that angle too)

Then without fail it gets into racial relations in the US...and France... so I have a degree in diplomacy so now I'm in my sweet spot and they are impressed. I think they're fascinated by african-American culture but I provide a sophisticated way for them to get a taste. This is a LOT of conversation. And believe me, I'm not wearing my beloved Randy Moss Raiders Jersey or cargo pants. I'd often have a tan summer blazer with an actual, real flower on the lapel, just like a 1940 old-school southern baptist minister. They liked that and know they're dealing with a unique case.

So usually after a LOT of talk and wine, I'm in a pretty good spot with them and bounce to the next spot. I escalate slow to limit cultural misunderstanding and mess it all up, but after a while of one on one they realize they're not meeting the likes of me for a while so and they are usually pretty confident women so they'll push it over the finish line.


Also- as you probably know, Spanish dudes go coo-coo like coco puffs for blonds. What I noticed with them is they were going after the low hanging American blond fruit, usually pretty aggressively. Plenty of American girls were DTF accents too, and could keep anonymity.

The best time there is summer. Groups get shipped for 4-6-8 weeks, then they go home. The rest of the school year is for kids mostly from Spain. I have no idea. I didn't hit anything Iberian...and honestly don't get Spanish women.

Also one more fact about Salamanca... its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, but has the second highest bar per inhabitant ratio in Europe. That alone should tell you something.

I grew up in the Baptist church where all the ministers and deacons used to rock the flower look. So I cross that Sunday look with an more urbane and insouciant "I don't give a f" Italian look, never with a tie. I mostly use a pin through the sewed-in button hole on blazers to protect the lapel. If the hole is open, the pin would go just underneath the stitching. The flower would stain the jacket just a little, but really its just pollen residue stuff, so not too bad. The flower was used more with white shirts and summer blazers than my best suits, which I'll hit on your other clothes threads. By the way, you are seriously pushing me into custom land... I like being in the top 10% dress-wise, but top 1% sounds waaay better.

As for other small cities in Spain, Sitges is awesome, but that's more of a Barcelona satellite. Salamanca spoiled me for Barcelona game, which as you know is the Big Leagues. I think I love Pamplona, but don't really remember much of the 5 days I spent there during San Fermin. But seriously, over in Portugal Aviero is beautiful little gem.

I agree with 46. I've only been there during the academic term, so our views are complementary.

From my experience, it's the best city in Spain to swoop Spanish girls (but: easiest places in Spain are beach resorts with foreign tourists, and the best city in the world to get Spanish girls is possibly London or Dublin, they go slut living abroad).
Salamanca is a university town just 2 hours from Madrid, and one of the most monumental cities in Spain. I used to visit some friends there and I never got tired of it. Most of the population are students, and most of the students are girls, so there is less competence from hyperactive Spanish guys. Also, girls don't live with their parents, an unusual thing here (because of shitty salaries and high real estate prices).

So, if you go there, just take a room in the centre, there are lots of bars and clubs. There is even the possibility, coming from Madrid, of not getting anything to stay and return the next day.
If you go to a bar during the day, don't forget to ask pork belly as a "tapa". It's the local speciality.

For real. When we say easy, we need to be talking about this kind of easiness. The same happened to me in DR, soon as i exit the airport and the first girl i approached (actually i kinda fllirted with the female custom before i left the immigration part), she wanted to come home with me. Then soon as my taxi drops me, i approach this 9.5 chick and she is going all crazy about me approaching her and when i go to get a room, i ended up fucking one of the ladylords around the area that helped me finding a room, i fucked her as a thank you.. So when we talk easiness, it must be this kind of easiness.

The thing is in Québec ,women in general are all whores . We don't have the same problems than other place . If you want to settle down and have a familly here it's tough to have trust in them . If not, like the majority here well you'll have fun here . Other thing is sometimes when you are accustom to something you need to go out of your confort zone to see you are lucky with what you have .
Something here that is different is girl here don't give a shit about their friends . If they want you the first night it's not really a concern for them in general. Definitely Amsterdam. The hookers there are so good looking that the girls that are just out partying or are tourists are like shooting fish in a barrel. They get hardly any attention so they suck it up hard. Especially like it was last year when I went, my bud and I both have blonde hair and blue eyes, mine was down past my shoulders, we nearly literally had to beat them off of us. I agree. I also dont think amsterdam was the easiest place to swoop. Matterfact, if you want easy dutch girls, you need to hit groningen..there it is easy..Amsterdam aint a walk in the park.
