Home Base - Eastern and Central Europe

This thread is one I have been wanting to put together for awhile now.

So many great threads, and data sheets out there, made me stop and think.
What is ANOTHER thing many RVF'ers probably aspire to? For me, it is finally
making your way to either a financial OR location independent lifestyle.

Maybe both?

While many may take a lifetime to achieve... or are never able to achieve full time.
Isn't this what many of us would REALLY LIKE to do? But then what?

The idea then is to determine some viable, tried and true locations, to use
as your home base going forward. Home base might be 6-10 months a year? Not
necessarily a single location, but rather a city or country you return to, again and again.

I think most of us will always travel, and have cities and countries we want to visit. In truth, many will be just that. A short term place to visit, game, check out, and experience. All good things by the way.

BUT.... Where then would you be happy to call home? Places that can enrich your
life, and allow you to improve as a man?

I propose listing THREE cities (or countries) that you have personal experience in.
Not just a couple week visit before.. like real actual, I LIVED THERE places.
Less than three is cool... bring what you've got to the table.

MUST HAVES - could be individual differences, these are just as examples.

Must be somewhat affordable. Offer a good quality of life... stuff to do, culture,
girls, entertainment, access to other places you plan to visit. Transportation,
local and internationally. And finally, you could honestly live there most ANY
time of year.

This structure also allows for those who prefer to bounce, between a few favorite places. (I am personally interested in the bounce option.)

This post could be a colossal flop. But I hope it turns into a valuable resource.
We have some very worldly travelers, and high value people on this forum.

We should all gain by learning of their opinions, and past experiences.

Thanks to all who choose to share.

Let's get started...
