Neomasculinity and Female Dominated Professions

Alright Lads;

So I am a healthcare professional, I am good at my job am reasonably established in my career with relative financial independence; most importantly I also enjoy my role. I spent years training at university and the longer I work in healthcare the more I realise how important it is for more men to enter my profession; it requires a cool hard logic that women just can't achieve. Despite this all area of healthcare are seriously female dominated and I can't see that changing anytime soon.

My biggest worry and the thing I am always conscious of with working with women all the time is that I am being emasculated and I have noticed a couple of times I have come across as effeminate which always shits me up. I try to do things to counter this by working out and weight lifting a lot, I don't go out socially with the women from my work (unless I am trying to bang them) I try to make sure all my friends are male and I socialise with mostly men to try and increase masculinity. If I join any clubs or social groups if they are female dominated I drop them as the only type of socialising I want to do with women is when I am gaming them. I try to go out on the pull as much as possible and am always looking for the next bang.

Having said all this, it still worries me that I might be loosing some of my masculinity so if you guys have any advice or suggestions on ways I can keep my masculinity up and ways I can marry up my career with neomasculinity it would be very much appreciated.

bro do you even lift? [Image: lol.gif]

Seriously, keep working out, eat healthier, use baking soda as a deodorant, etc.

I'd be wary of female-dominated entities but let's face it 90% of the media and organizations these days are just that so every man has to be incredibly PC to merely survive in many places in the West. So you need to "play the game" to a certain extent and know how to handle aggressive entitled women.

I think you should check out the lifestyle section and just read a bunch of those threads to get started.

What are some good jobs for men in the healthcare field?

Neomasculinity and Female Dominated Professions

I'm in healthcare as well, my secret is to simply not sweat it. I don't care if the majority of the people I see everyday are women. I do my job to the best of my ability, everyday. I never worry about my field being too feminine. Instead I try and chat up all the ladies at work, even the unattractive ones. And they love me for it. I am not worried about the lack of masculinity: I bring all the masculinity that is needed.

As answer to Chowder Head: all fields in healthcare that require ambition, hard work and logical thinking are good for men. Think doctors, lab technicians, specialist nursing. Take any field in healthcare and try to excel in that field and you'll be alright.

I work as a pharmacist, which is a female-dominated profession now. Even before venturing into this profession I made it clear to myself not to let my job decide who I am. I lift at least 3x per week, read, and drive a fast car - I have my interests outside of work and my job is only there to better my financial standing as I trade time for money.

What I have learned on this job working alongside women:

-If they are above you in rank they will shit all over you constantly and if possible try to get rid of you ASAP.
-If they share the same rank as you they will shit test you in the beginning.
-If they are below you in rank the default attitude is to obey you. Some girls will shit test but the majority of women will not ever test you.

My strategy:

-If you are below or at the same rank, run game on this. humor and clown game in general will suffice.
-if they are below you in rank there isn't much to worry about. Just don't people walk all over you.
-Avoid female owners/bosses. Thankfully 85% of pharmacy owners are men.
-Avoid female co-workers to the best of your ability, do not say anything publicly that can be repeated to others to your detriment. Do not fuck your co-workers unless it's legal and you are planning to exit your job.
-Avoid all your co-workers outside of work. Even male ones cannot keep their mouths shut and cannot be trusted.
-Once you are in a position of boss, do not hire women unless they are casuals that you can easily fire. Women go on maternity leave, are lazy, are emotional, and are generally inferior to men.

Amen to these!

I used to work as a service mechanic in one importing company that deals mostly with cosmetics and healthcare devices. There were two(!) managers, one male and another one female. This elderly lady was almost a complete horrified picture of how discussions here on this forum and on RoK may describe an incapable leader. She made her decisions completely by feeling and that I felt! Even though my position was worker, I had my own field of specialty no one else in that company knew better than me. And still that stupid cunt made some bullshit maintenance arrangements for me for example that I had to fix later then for better results. And this is just a long story short. So never ever elderly female managers for me at least.

But to the question - At least here in Finland you'll rarely find any business that isn't "feminized". At least in major cities. Previous repliers already some solid points of keeping your shit tight what comes to one's personal masculinity. I would always recommend to change your workplace, but finding a better one with more neomasculine atmosphere might be a hard one to come by.
