What's the deal with Aussies in Asia...?

I don't think the recently banned dude was a Tonipepperoni reincarnate.
TP mediated excessively on the cultural and intellectual degeneracy of Australia, a panopticon, both a prison of design and a prison of the mind. His philosophical angle coupled with fine appreciation of piano playing, Pushkin reading Russian women and apparent worldliness as an expat in London, among other European capitals, saw his stocks soar and rep points stream in. That is, until he overdid it massively. Increasingly embittered, he began lashing out as members grew tiresome of his incessant and heavily overdone ramblings centred only on the topic of Australia being the worst place in the world (despite evidence from Human Development Index indicating it's not really that bad). The ban hammer crushed him as soon as his value giving persona proved a mere facade.

Lot's of great comments in this thread. I always noticed it was mostly the lower class Aussie guys who only do their vacations in SEA (not all of course) and the hipster/middle class that go to Europe/America/etc. The competition here is sky-high, as most guys have already mentioned.... and it's a shame the average Aussie guy doesn't even know that the grass is greener once you go overseas.
I had the chance to visit Jamaica last yr (flight was super expensive at ~$2600aud), and it's a helluva lot different over there than here.

I have to attest, Ozzie guys are the real deal. I'm currently in Melbourne for a business trip, Oz's 2nd biggest city, and just walking around in the CBD, the guys here completely blow away the competition from around the world. They are tall, fashion concious, socially savvy, confident and every second guy (in the 18-40 range) is hitting the gym hard.
Apparently Melbourne is supposed to be Oz's hipster capital, and while there are quite a few hipsters here, I see more jacked guys. You'd expect the guys that predominantly work out are white, but this isn't the case here. I've never seen so many jacked Indians, Asians, etc in my life. Also suprisingly, at least in the CBD, there are plently of attractive women here. Obesity is non-existent. Lots of hot and slim women walking around by themselves.
Its a tough market here. You have to be in top form to compete. Your looks, physique, lifestyle, confidence, money, etc have to be maxed out as much as possible to give yourselves a chance. If you can find a niche, that would make life a lot easier. If you plan on cold approaching like you would in Poland to gather notches, be prepared for an uphill battle, the competition is fierce.
But here's the truth, if you can gather notches through cold approaching here, the world is your oyster. There's no doubt you'll be more successful elsewhere in the world. It'll at the least, battle-harden you

I am not Australian but I don't like Asian women, unless they are mixed with white. I only date latinas or white girls.

The competition in Melbourne is completely over the top. 50% of the guys are hitting the gym hard, and very fashion conscious. However, the women are essentially absent. They spend so much time shopping and at the gym that most are completely cultureless and braindead.
I grew up in Melbourne and have always regarded it as a hard place - but a place where your efforts could be rewarded. Previously, the town was filled with European women fleeing the GFC. Now, its full of middle easterners, indians and chinese.
Because of the high cost of housing, women are not planning to settle down, despite the large amount of men.
Avoid.

How does high cost of housing influence women's attitude there? Wouldn't it be cheaper to rent an apartment as 2 people as opposed to 2 single ones?

Anyway my mate just got back from Asia.He echos this thread. He's the Ryan Gosling type I've talked about before. He loves the Asian girls. He is no bogan.
I laughed when he told me how he got dirty looks from white Aussie chicks because he was with local chicks. He was really pissed off about it.."Who do these fat bitches think they are?" He said.
And "No wonder guys were going off with Asians"

You'll also find that most families in Australia purchased their real estate when it was the equivalent of around one years wages.
As an example: My parents had the opportunity to purchase a house in a harbour side suburb of sydney for $60,000 in the 80s [They didn't buy it]. Back then the average wage was around 30k.
Today that home is worth 8 million and the average wage is 55k. Essentially the baby boomer generation of Australia had all the opportunity and now most of the younger generations are faced with the fact that even a lifetimes earnings won't pay off a home until they are in their 70s.
As a result many live at home or purely rent.

Why has Australian property got expensive ?
I thought it was a huge country with only 20m population. Land is supposed to be cheap and abundant. Plenty of spaces to build not like Asian cities such as Hong Kong.
But if 8m are living in big cities that sure pushes prices up for average families. Especially costal areas. I would guess no surfer or water sports enthusiast wants to live in the inland areas.
On the plus side, if people are owning some property in Australia it would have gone up in value and they can afford these Thailand and Bali holidays which are relatively cheap.

Off topic but Melbourne FM radio especially the stations with a younger listeners are stocked full of males with effeminate high voices. While the females have masculine deep voices. The male defers to the female on every topic.
