As an observer from thousands of miles away I am really astonished, not to say amused, about the whole fuss. I have never heard anything about the roosh event in my own country, let alone about protests against it.

But since we live in a global village, I got to know the strange things happening over there in Canada. Man, is that serious? Guess somebody is not realizing they are attracting attention from all around the world by this!

Has anyone gotten to the point where they read those quotes from Roosh and are like, "um, well, that's just the objective truth". I just see it as bizarre that she has such outrage over comments that are "home truths" rather than offensive, incredible nonsense.

Women live in such a different social world that by her logic, Roosh's comments may be seen as evil when they are simply facts of life every man has to deal with. Of course she is going to be in disbelief at something she has never experienced and will never be required to experience in her life.

In all the pics here and on twitter, I noticed that women's fashion had taken a precipitous nose dive from around 2002 to now.

Back in the good ol' days of 2002, I went to MTL 3 times and pulled 2 out of those 3 trips (granted, one was social circle) and at least 70% of the women there still wore dresses and heels and at least acted like women.

Now, I'm seeing ugly shorts, skin tight black pants on their cellulite ridden thighs, masculine shirts, disastrous haircuts, and tattooed bodies.

To me Montreal was like an exciting old flame that I'd fantasize about for years, until seeing that she'd blown up into a defaced blimp after popping out a few rug rats.

The thing I've always found hilarious about this breed of activist is they only have two modes of conversation:

How can I best promote Marxist-Socialism?

and

How can I best gain social status by displaying pre-approved patterns of consumption (i.e. starbucks, apple, a billion and one media outlets and cosmetic companies).

That's right, literally the only two things these morons are capable of doing is consuming resources, and complaining about other people consuming resources. Yet how do they always describe themselves?
