Why doesn't RooshVForum have HTTPS?

I think this is a pretty important feature to have. I don't think we're going forward into a century that is going to be particularly respectful towards freedom of speech and differing opinions. It's already been proven that governments like the US are actively spying on everybody on the internet, so I'd have thought HTTPS is the bare minimum to prevent back-linking people's submissions to their IP. In the UK, for example, they even arrested a 15yo kid for posting something racist on twitter.

I tried accessing via https://www.rooshvforum.network, but it doesn't render properly, and then immediately goes back to the http site, so I'm guessing it's not implemented.

What browser are you using? Chrome routes HTTPS correctly for me, though the page doesn't render properly it works somewhat well. RoK works on https as well.

Even my mobile browser works with it.

I use Chrome along with the HTTPS Everywhere extension and it doesn't work for me on RVF or RoK.

This is not a good time to suggest site improvements.

But Chrome is spying on you (both for Google's and NSA's benefit), so it doesn't care if the website you're accessing has HTTPS or not.

What happens if you visit it manually without the plugin?

If I do it manually with or without the plug-in, it displays a page but the layout and theme is totally off. Same thing with Firefox.

But the site should just look normal whether you're using HTTPS or not.
