This guy is awesome

I'm following their videos about book reviews and I think there are the books needed for all men to become the strongest version of themselves.

Good stuff. I picked up an audiobook of "Awaken the Giant Within" somewhere. I probably have a pdf of the book too. It is a good book.

I read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" around 2005. At the time, it got me all pumped up, but then I realized it was only a high level overview and Kiyosaki says you have to buy his other books to get the hard info. I also read John T. Reed's review of the book http://johntreed.com/Kiyosaki.html . I still have a copy on my shelf, but largely disregard it.

Has anyone taken a speed reading course? I've thought about it. Thanks to the wonders of Kindle, I acquire books faster than I'll ever be able to read them. I've tried some speed reading tips I found online, and of course those Tim Ferriss includes in 4 Hour Work Week. I never could break the subvocalization though. My reading speed is limited to that.

Nice videos. Watched them all. Here's one which may be relevant to this forum:

"3 books to help reclaim your masculinity in a world that tries to diminish it."

It's definitely worth watching the videos for his descriptions of the books and what they are about, but here's the complete list of books for anyone who just wants to quickly see everything he recommends.

Here are the books from all 10 videos (with his referral links)

A few new ones for the 'to read' list [Image: thumb.gif]

I found this method for speed reading pretty interesting: http://www.spreeder.com/
I've never properly tried speed reading myself though, I always thought I'd have trouble comprehending stuff if I'm not going at my regular speed.

I think I've seen Spreeder before. Does it help? I've tried a few times to learn speed reading, but always fall back to subvocalization.
