At least it would still be a man.

What about Rosa Parks? As far as I know she was alright and she is already dead.

Her sole accomplishment was sitting down in the wrong seat. If that qualifies someone to be on U.S. currency, I'm taking my next dump on the White House lawn.

I may not like Hamilton's ideas but he was probably the most talented of the founders and did a lot of work.
He should be on the bill.
Especially when he is the only man of Scottish descent among the founders. So he's a protected minority right?

The birth of the republic is teeming with Presbyterian and other non-conformist Scots and Scots-Irish. When you look through some of the characters from the NE to Texas, it often is a case of who wasn't of Scots or Scots-Irish stock.

Quote:Quote:

Scotch-Irish are those Scots who moved to Northern Ireland in the 1600s and moved on to other lands in the 1700s when they would not succumb to the "Anglican ascendancy" or mix with "papish Catholics" in Ireland. More than 250,000 of these Scotch-Irish emigrated to the American colonies between 1717 and the American Revolutionary War. These Presbyterian "Scotch-Irish" were the majority of settlers who first moved over the Appalachians. Men such as Daniel Boone. And they kept moving. To Kentucky. To Tennessee. To Missouri. And, eventually into Texas.

These are the Scotch-Irish whose numbers get mixed up with ambiguous references to "British" colonists, and "Irish" ancestors, and "Anglo-American" settlers.

Her husband received a Nobel Peace prize for simply getting elected as president before continuing Bush's bombing policy and opening up new battle fronts.

The only woman, in my mind, who can be on the $10 bill without being politicized is Martha Washington. Otherwise it will be some feminist uggo.

I wouldn't mind George and Martha Washington both being back on the $1. There are very few women in US history who have made as significant of an impact as the people currently on the currency. Feminists simply can't see that. Gender is irrelevant. It comes down to who shaped this country the most and it happens to have been men.

Hamilton also founded the U.S Coast Guard. As a Coastie myself I think this sucks. As one poster has said before, the U.S Government has came down hard on the 'Washington Redskins' nickname for its supposed racist connotations but is sparing Andrew Jackson, hugely responsible for the Trail of Tears for their pet project.

Old hickory was alpha as fuck. He did what he wanted when he wanted.

As many have pointed out, a better solution is available: Replace Andrew Jackson, a man of many unattractive qualities and a poor president, on the twenty dollar bill. Given his views on central banking, Jackson would probably be fine with having his image dropped from a Federal Reserve note. Another, less attractive, possibility is to circulate two versions of the ten dollar bill, one of which continues to feature Hamilton.

None of the men on any of our paper bills deserves to be replaced. Make a new bill for feminists and distribute them exclusively in strip clubs, where plenty of single mothers can feel empowered accepting them.

Ayn Rand should be the woman on the bill. She was an immigrant who fled an oppressive regime to America, where she penned some of the most influential and widely-read literature of all time.

I would support this, even if just to inflame shitlibs.

So how many ounces of silicone lube would it take to get into that?

I'm guessing two ounces minimum.

I hope I'm not being SJWish by saying this, but I think this comment may be in poor taste.

The story came out of the civil right's movement, not feminism. Or am I wrong?

I saw some "thing" talk about this on Jon Stewart last night. I must say, having never seen the Daily Show before I realized it must be what staring into the Twilight Zone is like but I digress...
Basically this womyn was not satisfied. Especially when she heard that Hamilton was not getting bumped off the bill.

Moral: never give them anything.

Gents, it looks like Alexander Hamilton has been saved -- by a motherfucking Broadway musical. As usual, reality in 2016 America is comedy gold. Here's the article from the New York Times this week:

Quote:The New York Fun-Rag Wrote:

Hamilton May Stay on the $10 Bill, Thanks to Help From Broadway

Has “Hamilton” saved Hamilton?

Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator and star of the hit Broadway musical “Hamilton,” said on Wednesday that he had received assurances from Jacob J. Lew, secretary of the Treasury, that admirers of Alexander Hamilton would not be disappointed by a forthcoming redesign of the $10 bill. Mr. Lew has said that he wanted to add a woman’s image to that bill, which now features Hamilton’s portrait. That plan has won support from many, but there have also been complaints from those who don’t want to see Hamilton, the country’s first Treasury secretary, replaced.

Naturally the feminist bitches are still out for some dead white man's blood, so attention is turning to yanking the evil Andrew Jackson off the $20 --

Quote:NY Pravda Wrote:

A Woman’s Shot at the $20

...

If, as Mr. Lew states, the images on our currency reflect what we value as a nation, then Jackson, a slave trader and Native American oppressor, should be removed from the ubiquitous $20 bill and replaced by the freed slave and freedom fighter Harriet Tubman, the choice in our online survey that polled more than half a million people. And we should continue to preserve and celebrate the legacy of Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant...

While Hamilton was a Dreamer immigrant (and into vibrant hip-hop per the musical), Jackson was a slave trader and Indian killer (double-plus ungood), so he has to go. Not to mention that people are pointing out that Donald Trump is a latter-day Jacksonian...
