Spanish, Surf and Girls

Hey I'm a 21 years old white guy from Austria and I'm new to the game. One week ago I read Bang twice and realized that I did know nothing about pick up. The little success I have with women comes probably only from looks and that I go to the gym.

I'm looking to go and learn Spanish (in a language course) and learn surfing or windsurfing in August/September for a month. I'm reading the forum here like an addicted nerd right now to find the right place to go to. Even though there is plenty of information on many places I can't decide where to go to start developing my game.

About the following places I've read plenty and could probably be what I look for:
- Tamarindo (CR)
- Puerto Vallarta
- Carbarete (DR)
- Bocas del Toro
- other recommendations?
Which of this country has the easiest girls to game? Lima sounded like the perfect destination but the foggy climate sucks. Are there any destinations that have particularly many girl tourists or easy local women?

I know it's probably not welcome to have a first post with questions and nothing from my side [Image: confused.gif]. But I will make sure to report back from my vacation. Thank you.

Greetings

Maybe you should move your schedule around to accommodate for the southern hemisphere.

I've only heard good things about surfing in Puerto Vallarta from a few personal friends, I'm sure our Mexican contingent can confirm or deny this.

Even better than Vallarta is about half an hour north, a small place called Sayulita. I prefer this place hands down. You can totally find hippie surfer girls on vacation there, especially now that it is summer. If it is too small, Vallarta is not far away.

A little closer to home, for you, is Tarifa, Spain. Big night-life scene for a relatively small city. Lots of tourists, but also most girls I met were locals or lived in the area. Nude beaches, and you see some good ones as well as some women you wish weren't topless.

I def. digged Tarifa a lot, but it would probably be easier to game in Latin America.

I have some experience with Tamarindo but I don't think gaming local women is that easy because of tight-knit societies with the men guarding their women. Tourists girls can be had in Tamarindo, local women of Costa Rica can better be found in San Jose or Heredia I guess.

In Nosara the distances are bigger, you'd need a car. More yoga type girls.

Bocas del Toro sounds promising.

But to be honest in Latin America I mostly prefer the cities instead of the beaches to go for local girls. Lima is good in that way (but surf logistics are slightly worse). I see, in Latin America, girls and surf not as something that I really would combine. But you can sign up for the biggest international school for Spanish and surfing (EF Playa Tamarindo for example, albeit expensive) and there is pussy enough I think. There is a very big risk that smaller schools are full of Swiss and German girls that like latino cock. I've met some hot girls from those countries, too, in Central America.

San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua was better for local girls than Tamarindo as far as I remember.

St. Sebastian in Spain might be good in summer for the purposes of Spanish and girls. Yes it is Basque but at least that means people don't talk Castellano with a strange accent.

Sayulita looks amazing and even has a language school. I thought I researched already all the places that offer Spanish and Surf, however there is always something new. But I guess the men to women ratio isn't that great because of all the surfers?

Spain could be an option but I read many times how hard the women there are and the tourists probably prefer the Latino guys..

The point to not combine surf and Spanish I'm getting more and more the more I read here. If I don't find a good place I will probably eliminate the surf part.
San Juan del Sur I will look up again. For some reason it's on my "No" list. If the tourists go for the Latinos they are dispensable [Image: dodgy.gif].

I hear good things about Lobitos, Peru - a still relatively unknown spot with good surf and women, and also a good community. I'm not sure if there are any language schools.

San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua is cheap but I wouldn't say that Nicaraguan women generally are that hot. Easier compared to Western women though, at least when it comes to Nicaraguan women's attraction to Western men.

Cabarete, Dominican Republic is good for picking up Western tourists. The local women aren't that hot. I wrote a trip report about the towns a bit farther east along the coast, the Nagua/Cabrera region, where you'll find nicer-looking local women but my ultimate conclusion was that it's a bad idea to game the women there, for fear of being burned at the stake by the locals.

Yeah I have some experience with Lima and it's true that you can find some great-looking, feminine women and they're comparatively easy. The local surf spots about an hour outside of town are not amazing but if you're in Lima for at least a few weeks, you can pretty easily make friends and drive everyone down to the good surf spots along the coast for a weekend trip.

During the summer (December through late February) people in Lima love to go to the coast and party, and while I have no direct experience with such trips I imagine that they would be down to drive a few hours or more if it meant a good weekend in a chill surf town by the sea. You'd just bring your girl(s) and her friends.

The problem with the surfing dynamic in Latin America is some of the more famous surfing spots just turn into tourist shit holes where locals are the minority and the dynamics are all screwed up. I consider places like Montañita, Puerto Escondido, Sayulita, and San Juan Del Sur real shit holes to be honest.

The question becomes if you don't mind gaming North America/European girls. Because in a lot of these places, those are who will be easier and more accessible to game. If you don't mind, then you can look at places like the aforementioned. You might like those places.

Another downfall of these places is they are so touristy that practicing your Spanish is fairly difficult, most of the businesses and restaurants and locals will be tied fully or partially to the tourism industry and hence be able to communicate in English. Immersion is weak in places like this. For example, you could survive in Tamarindo without a word of Spanish if you wanted to.

If you want a true Latin American experience and want to learn Spanish, you will have to go to a relatively large city that has surf somewhere near by. An example of this could be a place like Antofagasta, Chile. This is a city where you could game local Chileans and has good surf nearby. Another place like this is Trujillo, Peru. These are relatively big cities with Spanish schools, lots of locals and few tourists, and plenty of places to Surf up along the coast nearby.

Yeah man. This is all spot on. I'd love to find a surf town in Latin America that has it all but my experience has been that you have to compromise. You can either have a good surfing town with good food but poor women/too many tourists, or a small surfing town that hasn't been infiltrated by the masses but with no infrastructure. Or some similar variation. I'd love to find a paradise surfing spot down south but something always seem to come up majorly short. I tend to stick to the cities/large towns with good women that are not too far from good surfing spots, for example Santiago in the DR.

That's a good tip as traveling up to an hour to the surf spot wouldn't be a problem for me. Santiago even has a language school. I'm not that much into black girls though. But it's still an option.
I wouldn't mind gaming the North America/European girls as long as they aren't after the Latinos. Most important is that the place is not a sausage feast. The girls don't have to be to most stunning in the world as I'm just starting out with game. Lobitos and Trujillo have unfortunately no language school with group classes. Group classes would be nice to meet other people. Going out alone isn't my thing, however Tinder & Co could be an option.

I spent years living along the Costa Rica and Nica coast. Great places to surf and adventure, but for girls it's not ideal. For those places it's best to lock down a gem and just focus on waves, eating well and getting work done.

If you want to game you have to go somewhere that has a sizable population. I would do Mexico because it's still tropical, cheap and has very good north and south swell exposure.

The Puerto Vallarta area is great. You have Sayulita for north swell months (dec-mar) and Punta Mita and towns north of Sayulita for south swell (mar-nov or really year round as the southern hemi never completely shuts down).

Southern Baja and Cabo is also a good option. If you don't mind colder water take a look at Northern Baja or Chile too but I've not surfed those areas.

I'd go Central Mex if you need to game. If you're cool with locking down a girl and focusing on Spanish and waves, then Central America is epic too.
Costa Rica & Nica are now eliminated I guess. Puerto Vallarta, Playa del Carmen and Cartagena all seem great places but as far as gaming women is concerned there are for all the places some posts that it isn't that great [Image: dodgy.gif]. How much easier would you say that Cusco or Bogota is to game in comparison to those places?

Thank you for all the help [Image: icon_razz.gif].

Been there. It's a dusty shithole with no women and an absolutely packed, albeit powerful, left point. Probably the most crowded spot I surfed in the entire country. Overrun by Brazzos and Peruvians, who are just as bad. There are girls in Mancora, but that's an hour away.

Another important thing to keep in mind is seasons. Lobitos I believe is primarily, or maybe even exclusively, a (northern hemisphere) winter time spot. Same thing with Bocas and the DR. Most places on the Pacific in Central America and Mexico will have plenty of swell Aug/Sept.

After dozen of hours of research (thanks to this amazing board) and thanks to your help I think Cusco or Lima is the best place for a beginner like me. In Lima it looks like in August/September are the biggest waves, so it should be still possible to surf with a neoprene suit or is it just dark as hell and not really enjoyable to surf?
An alternative would be to just go to Cusco and replace the surfing with salsa lessons.

I will most likely go to Cusco but the flight prices are at the time insane (around 2k). Hope they will drop a little. In the meantime I wanted to test how good certain places are for online game with Badoo and how to do it to find an alternative. I have premium and spent around 100-200 credits for each city. I've tested each city for three days.

Test 1 with one "normal" picture only:

Santo Domingo (DR): It's crazy. Dozens of likes a day. It's rare that a girl visits your profile without liking it. Around 50% of the likes even send you the first message. There are just a huge amount of girls on badoo and you having premium will get you more popularity. I guess not many guys here can afford a premium membership.
Santiago (DR): Still good but not comparable to Santo Domingo. Around 14 likes a day.
Medellin (Colombia): Only around 5 likes a day. Only 4 girls initiated the messaging during the three days. However there were around 14 girls visiting my profile a day without liking.
Mexico City : Something between Santiago and Santo Domingo.
Test 2 with Armani shirt
A lot of posts here state that a lot of latin chicks are basically brand whores. So I tried Colombia with an Armani Polo Shirt. In Mexico City and Medellin I got more than twice as many likes.
I didn't test it in the DR because I find the girls from most other latin countries more attractive and it seemed to me like online game there is a gold mine without much effort.
Test 3 topless
I think Linux uses topless pictures and he has obviously a lot of success with it. So I added a topless picture (I'm working out). I tested again only in Medellin and Mexico City and the 3 days showed roughly an equal amount of likes and initial conversation. However the girls where more attractive now than before.

I know this data is a small dataset but I thought probably it's interesting to some. I'm white with blonde hair but no blue eyes and not that tall.

Has anyone considered Spain for it (Spanish, surfing and girls)? I guess there will be no problems with language schools. Spanish girls get mixed feedback on this forum but I think I can deal with that. How is surfing in Spain (in summer and autumn)?
