MICARETAS are well known in Brazil as "off-season" carnival parties.This events occur through the year in different cities across Brazil,but the most famous ones are held in the states of Sao Paulo,Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais and Bahia.They might occur in large open areas or in Private Event arenas.
You must wear an Abadá(Event Shirt/tank top)to gain acess to the event.Girls always cut the abadá with a scissor to make it more sexy.

In a Micareta, Axé Music singers(see Ivete Sangallo,Claudia Leitte) play at the top of an Trio Eletrico(Kind of an itinerate stage with wheels) and the Micareteiros(Party people)gather around it in a effusive celebratory atmosphere,dancing and jumping to Axé hit songs and Brazilian Funk hits.

Many people hate Axe and Funk,due to the low quality of the sound and boring and sexist Lyrics,but hey,you're not going there for high quality music,in fact,the music is at the bottom of the reasons why men go to MICARETAS.

Here goes the Top Ten reasons I believe you should go to a MICARETA,from my personal experience attending these events:

1)Fast-Kiss culture

The MICARETA is probably one of the worlds easiest places to kiss a girl.In those parties,girls go wild and most times you don't need to say anything else than "Hi",even the music lyrics encourage people to kiss and bang the person next to you.

2)Cheap Booze and Booze-buses

In Micaretas,most people get insanely hammered even before gaining acess to the party area.Lots of people pay open-bar bus transportation to get to the event arena.Parking lot pre-drinking sessions(Esquenta)rolls freely around the event area.Very easy to meet girls and make friends.

3)"Going to War" Vibe.
Micareteiros often use war metaphores to describe their behaviour in the MICARETA."Going to war" means that you'll do whatever it takes to enjoy the party to the most,regardless of who you are and how handsome you look.Many girls have "war names" ,meaning that they don't say their real names to anyone and are allowed to go wild when it comes to drinking and meeting guys.

4)All about numbers.

Numbers in a Micareta are Sky High.If you kiss less than 10 girls(depending if it is a large scale or small scale event)you're considered a loser in the war.Many guys do an pen ink mark in their arms to count every girl they get,in order to compete with other guys afterwards.The Girls are also looking for numbers, so, go figure.

5)Even an ugly bastard with no game will kiss a girl.

Put the ultimate Beta male in the arena,and I can guarantee that even him will kiss at least one girl.I mean,even a dog would probably pull some random chick in a MICARETA party.

6)College Girls and High School girls.
The majority of the micareteiras are college students or barelly legal High-Schol students who like axé music and are very conceited,by that i mean they have hot bodies,and take care of their appeareance.Very rare to see a girl over 30 in these gigs.

7)Easy to get tons of girls numbers to bang after.
in this love & kiss extravaganza,is very easy to meet girls that you'll be able to contact after to schedule a first date and then bang.Although the majority of them probably will not tell you their real name nor give you a real phone number,some of the girls that you kissed probably liked you and will give you their contact to some late night bang any other day.I myself banged several chicks that i met in university MICARETAS when i was studying at Mackenzie Uni. in Sao Paulo.
8)Most events occur in daytime.
That means that if you're a strong player you'll still have time to go out at night after swooping 30+girls(average guys with game can do this number easily) in a MICARETA at afternoon.
9)VIP cabins
If you are rolling full of paper,its a good idea to pay for an open bar cabin.you'll have a place to get booze away from the crowd,you'll be able to meet upscale chicks in other cabins,and you'll display higher value to girls at the floor due to the VIP bracelet/shirt that they give you when you pay for a cabin.

10)Gringo Card.

If you are a foreigner in a MICARETA(even if you aren't blond) ,I guarantee that this will work in your advantage.Anything that stands out in a MICARETA party will make girls kiss you.Just say to a hot micareteira"Hey,I'm from ...and I never kissed a Brazilian Girl.":

I agree. I've been to 2 Micareta events. You actually have to stop making out after a while..there is soooo much spit swapping going on...it's kinda gross after a few times - especially when you see one girl take her tongue out of one guys mouth directly into yours.


However, it is a literal kiss and fuck fest!

What are some of the best ways to find-out about these events? I was taken to them by Brazilian friends, but I wanted to ditch them and find my own sometimes.

Good info man. Micaretas are awesome to meet some very sexy girls. Speaking of off season carnavals, the best one is the one held in Fortaleza the last weekend of July every year. It gets wild wild wild and is a literal fuckfest-a-ton. Even though the actual trio electricos event is only 3 days, the whole week is packed with Brasilians from all over Brasil there to have a good time, go wild. I heard from my Brasilian friends that it usually is put in the same level of the actual Carnaval in Salvador as far as the fun factor and ease of hooking up go. Very easy.Go to Liberdade(little japan)neighborhood here in SP and you will see what I mean.Sao Paulo has the largest Japanese community outside Japan.Also There are some Asian clubs in town,but I've never been to any of them..

This is where message boards like these help out a lot and save time. Yours truly had to attend 4 Brazilian Carnivals until some of the "veterans" told us how much more fun one could have during off-season. While I never attended a MICARETA party, let's just say the after the 4th carnival, the next 7 or 8 visits to Brazil were during non-Carnival times. I had a ball each time.

Yes, I would still say attend a Carnival once or twice just to say you did it but the off-seasons in Bahia (Salvador) and/or Bela Horizonte were GREAT!

I think I went to one of these in Floripa called Folianopolis or something. Anyway it was ok but got really boring after a while as it was just chasing this bus around in circles that had a band playing on the top of it. There only seemed to be really young average chicks at this one as well and makeouts weren't coming that easy. I even went with these 2 blonde haired, blue eyed Swedish dudes with plenty of game and they were struggling to get any quality.

We realised at the end though that all the hotties were up in the stand in the VIP bit. So next time, definitely going to get the VIP pass!!!

Mixx,the best way to find is looking at specific websites(like the ones I put in the post)and through University frat/student centers.I realize that it can be hard to find the best events if you don't have local contacts or a tour guide from your hotel/hostel.
http://www.atrasdotrio.com.br is also a very good website about micaretas(in portuguese,but you can try to read it with google chrome translator.)If you come to Brazil anytime soon please let me know and I can give you tips on the best places to go for Micareta.

Mixx,they usually are tough to crack because of family/community pressure to hook up only with asian men.I would recommend day game in Liberdade area in SP and maybe hitting some asian clubs/Karaoke bars(japanese people love it!).Seems to be a demand for a report on the SP asian scene,I'll do some research and try to post it anytime soon.Asian guys can be protective and walk around with large crews,so if you roll dolo be aware of your surroundings and don't do agressive approaching on asian clubs.Gotta be "malandro".

Floripa has lots of high quality girls,i love it there,but as I said in other post,B Girls from southern states are colder,you have to put more effort on your game.Also,Today there are tons of Micareta events in Brazil,so there are bad events(packed with low quality girls) and good events,maybe Folianopolis wasn't on the good side.Probably a VIP cabin will help your game there.In Floripa day game on the beaches,its the best way to go there,believe me.Hit Canasvieras beach to some argentinas if you want.

Sao Paulo
Belo Horizonte
Rio de Janeiro
Brasilia

I saw that the avg is around 75/55 or 24/11, but i've heard that it may rain alot or have some days with lows as cold as 9 or 10 degrees. Is this too cold for partying in Sao Paulo? Are the nightlife venues and streets empty?

And finally will the beaches in Rio be empty? or will there still be sunbathers in fio dental/bikinis in July? Thanks!!

I will also be visiting Curitiba and Porto Alegre, but not until at least September, as well as the Brazilian NE as well, heard the girls are not as hot there, but heard that it is a nice place to visit and learn about Brazil.

Its not too cold,expect minimum around 10ºC(50F)in winter months.Coritiba and down south will be probably colder.i don't think that you will have any problems finding clubs and places to go,unless you 'r unlucky and get a rainy week when you're here.
Regarding Rio and other cities by the sea,it will be better to come in summertime(Dec/Jan/Feb)but that does not mean that you won't have a good time.Even in the winter you'll have sunny days(the weather in Brazil is crazy,nothing like well-defined seasons like in Europe.)

NE girls in my personal view are less attractive than Southern Girls,but that's because I'm more into the European Look.If you like tanned/black skin maybe its the place for you.Nordeste is a more exotic experience for the western "Gringo" because life there is not as Americanized as you will find in Sao Paulo,Curitba and Rio.I'm from Sao Paulo,and believe me,going to NE cities feels exotic even to me.

There are Asian exclusive clubs and parties in SP. One the most famous one is MEGA party (you have to check for further info) because there isn't a regular place to happen. Japanese, Chinese and even Korean communities go there. But be careful: Asian parties are though for Non-Asian men without an Asian Wingman. Nothing impossible for your game level, maybe it can be harder for beginners.
Some of my BFFs are Japanese and live in the East Side (Carrao, Tatuape - as said by Mr. GM), so I know few spots
Places to find Japanese in SP
* Porque Sim - Japanese Karaoke (group scene, don't go by yourself)
* Chopperia Liberdade - Karaoke (more bar scene and billiards)
* Liberdade Street market on Sundays - for day game
* Kaikans - Something like a Club for Japanese Traditional Families on the Neighborhood - Very, very hard to get in, but once people like you and enjoy your company, since you are not japanese, you can find LTR material there. The first thing they will ask a japanese brazilian friend is " what is your japanese name"? name. E.g, Luciana Keiko will be known as Keiko
* Nipo Brazilian Club: The same overview from Kaikan. But there are more Occidental families going on. Can be a hit or a miss, due the fact there are lots of families and couples in a place like this.

Micaretas are good places to meet chicks. Sometimes the people at them are hard to put up with though. As the OP stated, lots of highschool girls. You can get lots of kisses there, not sure how easy it would be to fuck though. I already had a fine ass pussy lined up at the micareta I went to.
