Country For Old Men: Russia. Moscow 7-Day Trip Report

Thanks dude ! My hearing is shot and my tinnitus is hell ! I hate drinking and the whole sick bar scene--I would rather be at a gym, Buddhist Temple, yoga class, swimming, vegan resteraunt, getting a massage, sightseeing, school walking in nature..And yes tired of reports from the under 40 crowd...

Country For Old Men: Russia. Moscow 7-Day Trip Report

Don't want to start an entirely new thread, but thought I'd offer some insight to others thinking of making the trip. In short, I love Moscow [Image: smile.gif]

- Zero hostility towards Americans. I've been here a week and not a women or a man has been anything but very kind to me. Both during the day and out at night.

- Very easy to get a Russian Sim Card. Apologies but I do not remember the name, but it was right near Pushkinskaya Metro on the corner of Tevorsky next to a coffee shop. 600 R for the sim and 4GB data. I've about halfway used up and I've been using it a ton.

- Weather was great the first weekend over Easter (one week later than US), and was amazing walking around. Definitely talent, but not much greater than NYC, which is of course also great. Just don't want you thinking it's all 8's and 9's walking around. Getting cold now unfortunately.

- Nightgame: Big clubs over the weekend like Icon, Krishna Myra, and Siberia have INSANE talent. Probably hotter than the best clubs in NYC, but the key difference is that it is pretty easy for guys to get in as long as you suit up. The girls are much friendlier and easier to talk with than the really smoking girls at the upper tier clubs in NYC. Probably helped by being a bit exotic. SNL's are difficult, but I pulled one off with a solid 8.5. Model. Also got about 5 numbers, but follow up has been difficult. Clubs girls are flakey.

- Daygame: Everything is pretty dead Sunday-Wednesdsay, which sucks. Need to focus on daygame those days which is not my speciality, but I've had some fun and success with it. Red Square and Arbatskaya areas seem to be best for it.

- Prices: The Ruble is gaining on the Dollar, but still cheaper than NYC. Most club drinks are around 450-550R. Beers in restaurants tend to be around 250-400R. Entrees 500-900R. And I've really only been to some of the nicer places like Ugolek (insane talent every night but hard to approach due to seating), Mendelev, Ulliam's, Saxon & Parole, Haggis are all good spots.

- Online Game. Definitely some talent, but seems to be difficult to meet up with really hot girls from Tinder or OKC. But it is possible. Some girls are definitely DTF. If you want 5's, 6's, and 7's it's a gold mine.

The talent I have access to here is WAY better than NYC. I think that is the biggest difference. To get the hottest girls in NYC you need game and really good connections that get you into clubs that have tough doors.

Here in Moscow it is pretty easy for men to get into clubs, and after that all you need is game. I think if I was here for a few months I'd easily have a rotation of 8's and 9's. Whereas in NYC my rotation is more 7's & 8's.

Being an American from NYC is definitely a good thing. Even with the issues between Russia and the US.

This refers mainly to night game, as day game is not something I've done much.

Warder, can you report on the visa situation to Russia. Did you need to get a letter of invitation from a tourism agency? Also, how much time did it take to get it?

Yes I just did it online through this company.

allrussianvisas.com

It was ok. You may be able to find others for less. Just get the invitation, and you can just pick a hostel or hotel as the location you are staying. I was told by the Russian Visa Center in NYC that it does not matter.

I would advise not paying to register, because wherever you stay will likely handle that for around a $20 charge. My invitation was about $20.

The Visa through the center was about $250 and took 2 weeks. It's a 3 year multi-entry visa and I'd recommend doing that as it's the same price as a single entry visa.

For the three year entry visa, did they ask for things like bank account, proof of employment, and whether you owned property too? Thx

Great report. Russian girls seem to be very unpredictable, from what you tell (especially girl number 2)

One more last annoying question. Is this the Russian Visa Service you used in NYC?

Yes that is the center. It was easy. Waited about 20 minutes each time to submit and pick up.

Range of ages of girls. Generally 19-24 in the clubs that I met.

4 lays on the trip. 2 SNL's from clubs. 2 from Tinder. Quality of the SNL's was much better but the Tinder girls were cute enough. I didn't match with very many hotties on Tinder, but my online game isn't that great.

Probably have about five or six drop dead gorgeous girls interested in dating me that I've met at clubs and cafes. They just take more time. Wish I could stay longer haha

Brief update:

I am in Moscow for the second time. My preference for meeting girls is during the day, but it is hard to resist the Moscow nightlife. I have hit up a few of the clubs mentioned on the Forum. Thursday to Saturday is popping.

With regard to age differences, the girls who have been most receptive are 18-20. More on this subject later on.

Daygame has been good in terms of the receptiveness of girls. There are some good spots for Daygame, but logistically it is not the best. I have been to other cities where the layout is more conducive and convenient for Daygame, most recently SP.

Dantes, Im curious as to what qualities you are looking for in a wife? For e.g. if a girl sleeps with you on the first night is she still wife material? And will this then stop you from going for SNLs? You mentioned this in the OP but I havent read the whole thread.

Im a younger dude and interested to know what the older cats look for and how important looks are.

Dantes Great Thread I am quite a bit older but have been pulling 23 and 24 yr olds with photog game... curious if you were looking at any biz networking while there - I like to mix biz and pleasure - quite a few international business trade shows in Moscow - but not sure with the sanctions how many Euro folks attending - can imagine plenty from China and SE Asia.

Also interested how you sort the Party Girls from the wife material in Moscow. I know quite a few guys who married RU and UA ladies and their conventional wisdom sort of goes against the grain of RVF and ROK and that is find an 8 or 9+ lady with a small child 5 to 8 y.o. whose clubbing days are over and looking for a good man to provide a stable and secure life for them and their child. These are the marriages that seem to last - especially if you avoid the blatant 2 yr Green Card Girls - the working Moms from RU and UA tend to be loyal and good wives and no big pressure for more kids - unfortunately you bring them to the USA you have to sign a 10 year affidavit of support so they do not go on welfare if they leave you so you are on the hook in the USA either way.

That begs the question - how feasible is it to move to Moscow to marry a Russian woman and live and work there with biz trips to the USA in your opinion?

Deepdiver, interesting theory. My only issue is I am not terribly excited to raise another man's kid. And there are a lot of sweet kids that need a strong father presence. But it can also go haywire with never being fully accepted by the kid. The wife might always prioritize the kid over you since that is her blood.

Reading all these stories of you guys traveling non-stop to FSU and having the time of your lives is making me depressed here in USA. Yesterday I took the big step and applied to several major European banks for jobs. Big city USA just doesn't seem to be worth the hassle anymore.

Even though I am more long-term minded, I still escalate and push for SNLs. If you are open to or looking for a LTR, you still need to "Game" girls (escalate, push-pull, and have girls qualify themselves).

I would not say I am wife hunting, but I am looking to have a meaningful relationship and open to marriage in the future. The difference is racking up notches at this point in my life is not a main priority. But I have always put quality above quantity. I will not grind it out in a club until 5 am just for a mediocre girl. I still go for the kill, but I do not mind waiting if I have met a quality woman.

I have a few business opportunities, but nothing that is long-term and sustainable. There are other guys on the Forum that are living and working here who might be better resources.

Moving to Moscow is not easy, but feasible based on your skill set and adaptability.

I understand your philosophy about marrying someone with children. It makes sense from a certain standpoint if you are of a particular age and wanting a family. This is not the direction I foresee for myself.

Sorting the Party girls from LTR girls is fairly easy. I am a good judge of character and have years of experience dating girls from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. In short, I know what I am looking for. Like in most places, this type of girl (8+, sweet, educated, low notch count, 20s) is in a relationship. Timing is everything. You have to catch her a the right point.
