Don't ever marry if you've a temper problem...

So basically the takeaway from all this is learn game or you will literally ruin your life (and probably others*).

No, you lost control LONG before all of this. She wasn't operating within your frame, you were in her frame. And you had no control over yourself or your emotions.

*99% of married women I know who don't stray are because of a strong male figure - either husband or her dad. Most women left to themselves will run all over men in their lives. We know this is a fundamental element of TRP, of course.

Game saves lives.

If he had any, he'd have already been out getting a new +1 to dull the pain from her sluttiness.

It is no exaggeration that Game is probably even more important in a marriage than in a man's bachelor days. Those +2 SMV points a man had over the woman at the start of the relationship that qualified her 'love' are dynamic and too many men coast and allow these two points to fall into negative equity. Only then does a man realise that it is the respect from women that keeps a marriage going, not their love.

Re: Philippines - Forigners can't own a regular house In the philippines, only a condominium. So what women will some times try to do is get you to buy a house and put it in her name. There is really no divorce in the Philippines. only annulment. So what could happen is the house is in her name and she can have her boyfriend move right while you're there and there's nothing you can do about it. They might say he's a brother. The foreigner is always wrong everywhere, unless you're a foreign woman in the USA.

Samsamsam, of course I'm just basing this off of my experience with Murder Mystery, but according to this lawyer here, we should aim for a 'For fault divorce' when dealing with a cheating wench, it's more expensive, but at least she gets no alimony. [Image: smile.gif]

This woman practically faulted herself.

Some judges go with the womyn's point of view however.

Nightwing,

I had a female judge. Their was no doubt about my exes adultery. She admitted it. Do you know what the judge said?

"Counselor, I'm not going to punish her for her bad behavior."

Welcome to no fault divorce.

I'm surprised you weren't punished for her behavior. Family courts seem to have taken on the bizarre morality of the "Dr. Phil Show" which is as follows:

When the man cheats he's evil.

When the woman cheats he's also evil because "what did he do to make her want to cheat?!!"

This is pretty standard in most of SEA with Thailand especially notorious for this sort of tomfoolery.

The options to protect yourself are:

Long 30+ year leases in your spouse's name (land owner) and you as leaseholder.

Other options are to put the house/land in your kid's name.

You used to be able to form a company and put real estate in its name but it's kind of sketchy these days in many countries and has its own share of issues. This might still be good with the amity treaty with U.S. citizens since it's possible to be majority shareholder in Thailand but it's probably complicated and legally iffy when push comes to shove.

However, none of these things are exactly foolproof the only foolproof plan is to not marry a greedy conniving tart. So many foreigners end up with exactly that because there's a lot of chumps who take their extreme thirst overseas as well.

So much for expatriation to escape collapsing America, eh?

It's still not that bad. Most women are still pretty good abroad you just have to be able to filter them out.

But lets say someone is a silly dumbfuck and gets taken for a ride and loses the equivalent of a house in Thailand. That's still most likely under $100k USD all in for a hard lesson learned. There aren't that many foreign men with the capability to build houses worth over that for their thai wives.

Now compare that with the alimony in U.S. which bleeds you slow until you're an old man with not even a pot to piss in and the divorce + lawyer fees on top of that which can be ridiculous.

I remember reading some divorce court stories and it was pretty common for a guy to lose his $300k+ house and then have to pay some $700 a month alimony for over a decade on average. That's a serious assraping.

Nobody forces you to own a house in Thailand or the Philippines. Condos can be owned by foreigners in both countries.

If you wanna get married....NO....If you want to make it as an adult...just kill the beta inside you...or it will destroy your life.
Women are so far ahead being degerated that we must kill them from the inside of us.
They are tools in some way. Lower your expectations ...put your own rules on them and live. Forget what society says about honour. Only men have it.

That's true, but you have to take into consideration the immense lure of the expat pipe dream of building a house in some hillbilly village amongst other european/north american expats in a community populated by slappers and blue pill boners.

It's second only to the "building a business in the wife's name" dream which also ends in a spectacular way. I know of a european expat on Palawan who has an entire resort in his (unhappy) wife's name.

Southeast asia is full of hilarious stories.

I've seen those condos, they are hilariously overpriced and a way to extort money out of expats. Still, if one needs to leave America that's the only option you get.
