Perth Australia - Summary

Ok so as promised my guide to Perth, firstly I want to clarify that even though it has a lot to do with game I am making my first summary more comprehensive than where to get laid. Secondly if you feel anything needs changing or want to add something let me know.

Right so I have relocated here in March 2014, that being said I have been here many times for work ranging from overnight stays to 3-month stints always on the company dime. First thing to remember about Perth is it is HUGE on mining, currently the downturn of projects has translated into a really skewed state of affairs where mining (which has driven the local economy) has stopped but the rest of the state hasn't cottoned onto it yet.

1) Getting here and first impressions: If you're from any state on the Eastern Seaboard and have never been the first impression is it is reminiscent of Melbourne/Brisbane (more the latter) only about 15 years behind the current date.

If you plan on coming here my first recommendation is; get around on either public transport or taxis, rental cars is fine however the way the traffic is and the nature of road users is if you don't hit someone you will be throwing your fists in the general direction of idiots who drive like they were the dropouts of driving school. much easier and cheaper to get around via public transport. Only get a hire car if you plan on doing a road trip away from the city (more below).

The first impressions are its really the best place for summer, beautiful beaches, great weather and almost zip humidity so it can be a 40-degree (Celsius) day and as long as you're in the shade it is amazing. One thing that will probably hit you really quick especially if you're from the Eastern states is how expensive things can be, usually a 20% increase is a safe bet on almost anything you are looking at.

2) Where to go/Where to stay: A lot of this will depend on your budget and the duration of your stay, some options aren't game-friendly if you're usual M.O. is to bring a girl back to your place.
- Air B'n'B is a great option if you have a long stay and don't want to outlay heaps of cash on accommodation, as long as you're happy living in someone else's place then you're fine; probably not the best for bringing girls home to especially if you're living with an old grandma.
- Hotels are plentiful and reasonably priced it is however a question of available funds vs. duration. Personally I would recommend looking SE of the CBD as the nightlife is easier to get to and more residential than North.

GAME - ok the fun part. As I said before Perth has built itself up on mining, and unfortunately not much else, being a miner out here is king and you will soon learn that when you start gaming. In particular given the price of everything females here have turned into gold-diggers for the most part with no real attempt at concealing it. I still recall my first weekend here and I was approached three times and their opener was what limit credit card i'd give them if they hooked up with me or if I was a FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) worker.

The next thing you will learn is that Perth is very cliquey, with herd mentality running rampant, usually if you are an unknown then you will find you will have to be sharp on your game if you want to break into a certain group. As for the herd mentality the women here are of the mindset that "All for one and one for all" so if one girl is hooking up the rest will follow suit, subsequently if one doesn't hook up most of the time the rest will also (sadly) follow suit.

My advice for handling this is pretty simple; get known, and that doesn't have to be terribly difficult, rolling with a group of drinking buddies (of similar mindset and attractiveness) will go a long way in helping seal the deal with that cute blonde. if you're travelling from interstate or overseas find a forum that goes with your interests; for example because I did amateur rally driving and I own a custom WRX I went to the Perth-WRX forums, and as I ride a motorcycle I went to the street bikes forum, a wealth of knowledge and local intel plus plenty of group rides/drives and get-togethers will help establish your group.

Where you go depends on what your scene is; I have listed a few below (feel free to list others) based on my own experience and the style of women you will see:

- Classy/Upmarket; Head to East Perth along the river, for those reading this from Brisbane consider it a classier version of South Bank or Oxford Street in Bulimba. plenty of nice cocktail lounges, al a carte dining and majority 7.5-9 on the looks scale, only problem is you will be either queried on your income from the get-go or (assuming you pass that test) will be expected to supply bottle service to maintain interest - that is unfortunately a very real problem especially if you either can't or won't maintain it. Great however if you want a quiet night. Highlight venue that sums up the area - The Aviary

- Party: Perth isn't as big on the party scene as say Sydney or Melbourne and usually relies on remix versions of current top-40 for their house/dance scene, however if you are head to Northbridge, similar to Fortitude Valley or Kings Cross provides a good mix of ladies to game on and plenty of opportunities to bail on one and game the next. Beware the bottle service though. Hightlight - The Library

- Casual/Pub: One place that seems to be the go-to for nearly everyone is the Burswood (now Crown) casino. Plenty of entertainment options without going too far either way, also if you like to have a flutter its the only real place to be, easy to get to if you looked at the "Where to Stay" option. like the Party point its got a good mix of ladies where the 7's+ stand out but be mindful of cock-blocking and a shitload of Beta's.

- Dredge: Around the metro area you get a smattering of pubs that are good if you don't feel like slugging through the nightclubs or having to deal with a baby-sized portion for $85 when it comes to food. Lot of these places have the usual drinks specials and local beers and it's great if you are focusing on early-night game as most people go to the local, get tanked THEN head to the city (they do not miss you in the clubs for drinks I can promise you). One place I would avoid is Armadale; like the Logan of Perth it can get rough and the payoff is not worth the trouble, just avoid it...period.

- Beach-Going: Seems standard but I feel it deserved it's own mention. Great to go during the weekends for lunch/dinner, great beaches, lot of local seafood fare great for the sunday-afternoon drinks. Highlight is DEFINITELY Little Creatures brewery in Fremantle, has it's own nightlife scene but is very isolated, so the girls you meet at Fremantle more than likely will be there during the day as well even though its only 25km from the CBD.

- Casual 2.0: Sorry I forgot this one; plenty of great tapas along the Albany Highway strip at Victoria Park, great for breakfasts and seeing some decent machines driving/riding by of a Saturday morning. probably the best place to work your day game

**EDIT** - online game:

ok I didn't mention this however it needs to be said about Online Game, it has the benefit of setting up dates and helping to break through some of the cliques. Oasis Active is one site; doesn't cost to start or use, most of the women there are <6 and the one's >6.5 unfortunately have the attitude to boot (6-9-6 syndrome), however good to have as a passive for your day/night game. many of the women there are DTF however a lot (and I mean A LOT) are flakey as the chocolate bar of the same name so don't put too much emphasis on it. Tinder requires you to be in the right place at the right time, because of population density if you're in the city on a Saturday night and have your settings right you can get a lot of matches but like what has been already said plenty of bots and dead-ends.

GIRLS:

Ok so I mentioned the scenes and the type of girls you meet here are the pro's and con's (my own assertions) based on my time here:

Pro:
- Usually pretty trim and decent (see the cons below)
- Herd mentality can work in your favour
- Not really too picky on the Looks/Ethnicity background (unlike Sydney)
- Can be easily impressed (also not depends how you play it; see cons)

Cons:
- Like most entitled women they take the bits of feminism they like and the bits they don't then magnify it x 10

- If you take a girl on a date do not expect to have a diverse conversation (or even entertaining for that matter). For example women here are all about travel, if you find a girl that has travelled expect it to go something like this (sung to the tune of "The llama song")
Travel travel travel travel I-like-to-party-and-I-travel, travel travel travel travel travel travel FUCK!! travel travel travel travel I-want-a-guy-who-will-be-waiting-for-me-while-I-travel travel travel I'm-empowered-and-I-travel travel travel FUCK!!

- Herd mentality means that you want wingmen that are good on their game and can seal the deal as it's all or nothing otherwise.

- Single-motherhood (coupled with herd mentality) means that women see it as a badge of pride that they get knocked up by a stranger, and given the bonuses and money single-mothers get (quite a bit) one can see why. However that being the case ALWAYS bring your own tried-and-true supply of condoms and unless you're good at spotting them personally I wouldn't make it known that you're in money; yes it may cost you a few bangs but well-worth the stress not had in the long run.

- Easy ways to spot the wannabe baby-mumma; usually if she isn't going to University or has a high-flying job (by her standards) exercise caution, also if she is boring as in hasn't gone anywhere, either does nothing or gives you the vibe that having a child (and coming from a poorer household) is the only highlight in her life besides being every guys pump'n'dump.

Where to go when you aren't gaming:

Ok so assuming you want to do more than game while you are here. Fair few things you can do to keep yourself entertained (I am writing this from riding a motorcycle so YMMV):

- New Norcia; Australia's only monastic town located around 140km NNE of Perth, great drive and fascinating to see. Given it's a monastery the artwork is amazing in the chapel and they make their own wine, bread etc. well worth the trip

- Fremantle; good place to go for a close-by destination to sample the local fare.

- Margaret River; if you're a wine aficionado then make the time to head to Margaret River to see the local wineries.

- Bali; one of the perks of living here is that Bali is cheap-as to get to, specials from the travel companies easily go under $100 one-way and Bali being Bali isn't that expensive to enjoy to its fullest.

So there you have it. I have probably put a negative slant on it but it is well-worth it if you decide to come here.

I would say that this datasheet is fairly accurate.

The only reason you would want to be in Perth is if you're in mining making decent cash. Otherwise it's just a really boring, expensive and isolated city.

Girls go to Perth specifically just to sniff out the guys who are making it big in mining. So if you're in Perth and you're not stacking paper, you're simply not going to be competitive.

exactly - what I do means I am connected to the mining, Oil and Gas etc. but I don't make nearly as much as some of those guys. however I do enjoy it here but not necessarily for the game.

Great information! I've thought of going to Perth because the Swim Smooth school is there which helps triathletes improve their swim technique.

Definitely come over - if you're primary goal is for the swim school i'd say go the Air B'n'b way could get you closer to where you want to be for less, as a side note if you want to do things like grocery shopping unless you are really REALLY good at making cheap meals do not be surprised if you are spending $100 for 2 or 3 meals. I am not kidding how out of sync the cost is here. partly because of Perth's isolation and part because retailers wanted a slice of miners income...which is becoming scarcer and scarcer.

This could be expanded upon a bit. For some reason, certain areas have one night of the week where they are exceptionally busy, mostly with a relatively young crowd.

Monday - zzzzzz
Tuesday - zzzzzz
Wednesday - Hillarys boat harbour
Thursday - Claremont
Friday - Joondalup
Saturday - Subiaco
Sunday - Fremantle

IMO, Subiaco is the best of the bunch.

I dunno, this sounds like an excuse to me. Maybe some hoes might come to Perth for the purpose of gold digging, but I don't think it's indicative of their mentality as a whole. When I was bouncing I scored dozens of shielas who didn't seem too concerned about the shitty pay bouncers take home, nor by the state of the beat-up vehicles I took them home in. I even took one girl home (not while working) after delivering a line inspired by a seinfeld episode - "I'm unemployed and live with my parents".

Agreed - as I said it was a summary based on 6 months of day game, online, night game and I still haven't gotten anywhere yet. haven't seen the night game in Subiaco yet mostly because work and riding/racing has been a bigger priority (piss poor excuse I have to work on it). I did manage to score with an 8 from Subiaco but didn't go to her place I ended up going to mine. thanks for adding [Image: smile.gif]

Wow, this is beyond what I had expected. Thanks for this report.

I know of one guy who was doing FIFO in WA, but he and some mates made the company change the 'Fly Out' to Indonesia (it was about the same price as to fly to Perth).

I think you can image the difference in quality of life that creates, women or otherwise.

Funny how someone new to the place can know so much more than a native.

Shows how bluepill weakens a man, like a horse with blinkers on. Effective tunnel vision.

Also of note, in Perth is that there are multiple universities in close proximity. It's not hard to integrate yourself into the social circle of 18-22 year old college freshmen, with all the access that implies. With an ever increasing inflow of foreign students from SEA, China, Taiwan and Japan, this tiny "City" is surprisingly multicultural, with plenty of asian types, if you're into that sort of thing. Strangely, it's also a popular destination for the Scandinavians, and a goodly number of valkyries strutting around the place in vacation mindset.

Insofar as other cities (in Australia) I would say its isolation from the rest of the country puts it a few steps ahead. in other places I have gone it has always been for work - so always had work colleagues or interpreters in other countries where the "clique" was minimized by having someone there who helped break down the initial barriers.

As for the Uni's I don't frequent them, probably an un-tapped (pun intended) market however it is not my scene. to add to that the "Travel Travel" conversation bit - has been more to do with the younger ones when I have met them out, most of which went to uni.

They may not come here for that, but you can be sure if they didn't one look at house prices and everything else and suddenly it becomes part of their approach. And it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that their sugar-daddy is on his swing and you're her side-corn.

@Blue5 the East Coast is filled with Scandinavian travelers in summer too and more so than Perth, most backpackers don't head out that far West. And Scandi traveler quality is better than local girls but still not much to write home about.

Quality seems the physical beauty is more natural than the rest of the East Coast - still pales in comparison to EE, SEA or South America but refreshing seeing LESS beauty-by-makeup (or implants, Gold Coast being REALLY bad for it).

Ease - if I had to put it to comparison (using 7-8 as the benchmark) I would put it simply:

- Sydney; more because of their standards
- Perth; because they flake A LOT
- Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide average out the same

my first summary/datasheet - I was not going to get it perfect.

ok my mistake:

if you were to take a sample of 100 girls that rate between 7-8 on the looks scale this is how I (meaning my own opinion/experience) would rate it:

- Sydney ranks as #1 on the difficulty list because they are very picky, have an air of snobbish and are very VERY aware how much attention they can command so I put them at #1 (for me)

- Perth ranks as number 2 on the difficulty scale because they flake, a lot of the 7's and 8's I have met have an even spread across FIFO, Shift workers like bar girls and nurses and your standard 9-5 office worker. As I said they DO flake a lot but given their natural beauty i am more inclined to put in a little more effort than Sydney girls

- Brisbane/Adelaide/Melbourne rate as the lowest because in Brisbane i had the home-field advantage (something i do not have here yet) and they have been less flakey (only just), Melbourne girls seem more easy going and easier to approach thus converting to a date then and there or date by extension of the initial approach a natural thing. Adelaide girls seem to flake less and seem slightly more approachable and seem to appreciate your attention MORE than the other cities which i am putting down to population density vs. what the city has going for it.

Perth Australia - Summary

Great summary Ruin. I lived in Perth for 18 months a couple of years back. You basically nailed the types of girls in the city especially the travel, travel, travel and gold-digging bit which is spot on!

When talking about how cliquey the city is it reminded me of my own experience. Being a Pom(British for non Aussies or Brits) and not knowing a single person when i moved out there, it was a struggle to get a good group of Australian friends. Reason for this is due to its isolation every group you meet went to the same school, university and lived in the same neighbourhood so why bother meeting another Pom or Irish guy straight off the plane! Most of my friends were expats but after 6 months I started making in-roads with the local girls and getting introduced to more and more which is when i started having some serious fun!

Mining was booming at the time so you found a load of FIFO guys coming in for the weekend getting sh*t faced and with zero game so competition wasn't too tough on that side of things.

A key thing in Perth is qualify qualify and qualify you'll be surprised, it's a city with a small town mentality. You will find some stunning 8+ girls who are 18-24 but guess what, they are engaged or married to their high school sweetheart who is doing FIFO work, so you can waste a lot of time at the beginning. This brings me nicely on to the golden nugget of Perth. Your target market should be 25-35 yr old divorcees. Remember those high school FIFO sweethearts...well i think divorce rates in Perth are at least 50% or higher in these young couples. Mr. FIFO is up in god knows where for 3 weeks every month so HB7/8/9 is lonely with a lot of cash from her sugar daddy sweating his balls off in 50c heat up North. She wants to get laid and and will cheat hence the divorce hence your perfect target market.

As a generalisation most WA guys go straight out of High School to the mines, they are extremely uncultured and uneducated. Game I witnessed a lot was "How you doing beautiful/brown eyes/big tits etc...? If you have a better opener than this you can go a long way!

I lived in Subiaco good bars are:

Llama Bar- good crowd of mostly 7+ girls

Gold Bar- 8+ girls, gold diggers, need to flash the cash but good music also go early or go with HBs or you are not getting in

Subi Hotel-Chilled during the week, good atmosphere and those divorcees are high in number on the weekends

Other recommended spots:

Raffles on Wednesday-HBs looking for AFL players but you may get lucky

Claremont Hotel Thursday as already mentioned-student night but be prepared for some absolutely soul sucking conversations and blank stares if you try to say anything interesting/intelligent

Northbridge on weekends as already mentioned I liked the Aberdeen Hotel (The Deen) for younger chicks and the Shed for Rock music and backpackers.

Leederville You MUST hit The Garden ( you can already see how original Perth is with the number of times I've had to say The for a bar/club name!) Good atmosphere and chilled vibe during the early afternoon and evening then when it closes you go next door to....you guessed it THE Leederville Hotel or Hip-E club.

Another good place to go to is always Horse Races for big race days like New Years day etc. Plenty of good looking ladies around.

Key place you missed is the Cottesloe Hotel on the weekend during the day or for a Sunday session. Great place if you can get past the cockblockers!

I could go on for ever and ever but overall I enjoyed my time in the city after the first 6 months but in my opinion it is not a city for young guys on the prowl. You are better off hitting Sydney or Melbourne. Perfect City if you have a family and want to settle down but i doubt this appeals to 99% of the guys on this forum!

Perfect City if you have a family and want to settle down but i doubt this appeals to 99% of the guys on this forum!

i should have compared notes to you first mate before i wrote this [Image: tongue.gif] great summary

Mate if you had been there when I was it would have been awesome to have a decent wingman and fellow red pill! Granted I was a Beta just getting into game but it would have been fun!

Thanks, that sounds about how I'd expect. You seem to know a lot about the Gold Coast, I haven't made it there yet. I'm guessing the girls there are the hottest, but how about ease?

I can also confirm that this order is pretty accurate.

As for the Gold Coast, I would personally say that it's actually the best place (or at least one of the best places) in Australia for gaming. It's a very underrated city on RVF.

I've spent quite a bit of time there (not for gaming purposes per se) but I might drop a datasheet on it sometime.
