Ramadan finishes on around June 4th, but normally the following week its an extended holidays where they all go back to the village for a few days. So, I would say from June 10th onwards, everything goes back to normal.

There are still a bars that are open during ramadan, but opening hours/availability of drinks are dependant on location.

However, getting birds of Tinder/other online dating apps won't be affected by this. Just the nightlife that quitens down.

Nightlife is such a big part of the fun in Jakarta that this would be my main reason to avoid the city during Ramadan. And I'm not even that big on nightlife / clubbing so that says something.

During all of my Jakarta trips, nightlife was an integral part of my success. I don't go out much on my own but always end up getting invited by girls to join them and their friends, and the night then usually turns into something epic one way or the other. It's also very easy to meet new people and social circles this way.

Regarding girls and ramadan: They'll spend more time with family, they'll be fasting, and some will suddenly turn into little princesses who "never do anything bad" and are "very devoted to practicing their religion". Then jump right back on the carousel after Ramadan is done.

There's also the girls that'll continue the party in Bali on weekend trips, but it's not like Bali will suddenly turn into a pussy paradise with all the Jakarta girls waiting for you there.

Bali will just be business as usual and I don't think you'll really notice a difference there with a few more Jakarta girls sprinkled in than usual.

Yeah, on the Bali front, agree completely. The Indo girls are already heavily watered down by the Euro/Oz fleets there. If anything, with it being a more expensive period to travel (especially around idul fitri) littered with lots of 'family comittments', there may even be less native talent throughout this period.
It is safe to say Ramadan is definitely the least enjoyable month to stay in this country.
Although, it does make me laugh, when a lot of the slags start fasting and pretending they take their religion seriously.

How can the Jakarta girls afford trips to Bali? I know flights are cheap and accommodation can be very cheap too, especially if one is Indonesian, but still. I know a couple of girls from Jakarta and everytime I see them in Bali it's always pics of just them in the beach or swimming pool so that means a dude is taking the pictures but they don't want people to know that. Normally use Alfa Valisindo 021-6511623 as they transfer Rp into acocunt and can negotiate rates. The malls often charge a premium. They prefer crisp 100 dollar bills and will cut the rate for lower denomination or crumpled/marked bills

Indonesia is a HUGE country and the top 5% in wealth is already more then 10 million people. Of course those girls come from the better families, varying from (upper?) middle class to upper class. Also many more girls from Java and other islands work on Bali.

The sheer size of the country makes for bigger groups of people with coin to spend.

Im gonna give you the hard reality. Your tinder profile is not good. Tinder still works great for guys with good photos. As I mentioned before its tough to almost impossible to get 8s and above in most cities but for 6-7 range its continuously performed for me.

My tinder in Jakarta is overflowing with matches. I agree that most are so ugly you cant even consider it but there are for sure bangable girls in the 6-7 range. I have been banging non stop since ive been here and I have put in the bare minimum effort. I been spending my days working in starbucks and throwing out a few invitations in the evening. The girls come to me every time. Most of the girls were 6 range face but with great 8 range bodies. I am not trying to brag believe me. I'm seriously considering moving to Bali or Jarkata. My only concern long term is the seismic and tsunami activity. Though I was in CDMX when that catastrophic one hit in 2017 and I was fairly safe. As sexy as some of these women are in Indonesia and the other pro factors it would be worth the risk.

Still, need to finish reading all these pages to get more accurate data. I'm leaning more towards Bali only because I have done more research, but I need to study Jarkata now also.
