Easy ways to free-up cash flow

Ok, so I recently moved into a new place in the heart of my city's bar district. I wanted to free up more disposable income for night game, drinking, ect. So here are some ideas for reducing cost:

1. Cable - I don't watch a lot of TV, but its always good to be able to have a bunch of shows at your disposal. If you have Comcast Cable (Xfinity) or Time Warner you simply find a friend that already has Cable and Internet, and have him create an additional email account for you (you get up to 8). Now you can go to Xfinity.com, click on TV and you have access to the entire On Demand catalog. Free TV! (Note: If you can stream from your laptop/pc to your TV you'll never know the difference)

2. Internet - A lot of new smart phones have the ability to double as a wireless router. If you have 4g service in your area a lot of times they are just as fast as DSL/Cable. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9...le_hotspot. Note: Depending on your provider there may be a data cap

3. Food - Make a woman pay for and cook you a meal. I've done this numerous times. It serves two purposes.
3a. It forces the woman to qualify herself to you by proving she can and will cook you a meal.
3b. You eat a home cooked meal for free. I've had surprisingly good results with this. From my experience a lot of woman are wiling to do this because they think they can cook and they think it will make you like them.

That's all I got for now. What do you all do to free up cash flow and maintain some of the things you don't want to give up?

1. Limit my eating out especially for lunch during the work week.

2. Try to limit my random online shopping sprees. I used to go on online shopping sprees and waste alot of my money on random uselesss shit.

3. Quit my expensive hobbies. I used to paintball alot but I was spending $200+ a week sometimes on paint, air and accessories.

I barely watch TV anymore, if I do it, it's online.

These sites are great for cutting that cost.

TV - Veetle.com
Movies - Solarmovie.eu
Sports - Atdhe.eu

If you have that and a fast internet connection, you can stream them to your TV.

Your suggestions are good. I do all of those. Also find an apartment that includes all or partial utilities to save money.

Idk what state you live in but if you have a car in a densely populated urban area; find a cool friend who live in the burbs or a rural area. Register your car there. In an NYC zip code, my car would cost me $180 a month, 2 hrs north it's half that. A foaf has done that.

Also more easier said than done, get a better paying job.

Go out but spend less money on booze. Figure out when all of the specials are on. Get to a place before they start charging cover and get a stamp. Look for promoters giving away free shit. Get guestlist, transit not cabs etc.

Also cook all of your food for yourself from raw ingredients. Try not to get anything processed, no bottled drinks, no buying snacks/drinks. You'd be amazed how fast buying food out or even coffee a few times a week adds up

Yeah cutting down drinking on nights out is a huge one.

On any given night out the temptation to drink is huge - especially if you're with people you usually drink with - but zooming out and looking back, most nights out drinking run me £40+ ($60+) at least, and are not on average much better in terms of real fun/adventure/girls than nights I just have 1-3 drinks and just jump into a few sets without the liquid courage.

If you own a car, and can bear getting rid of it, that would free up quite a bit of money. Gas, repairs, servicing, insurance, parking etc. etc. Driving costs a lot more than most people realise. You could use cabs and zipcar when you really need your own car.

Also, a side hustle were you get paid in cash can go a long way. Not necessarily drugs/illegal. Something as simple as home repairs, say. Tax chews up so much money just finding a way to earn some money tax-free puts you ahead. Use the cash for regular expenses and let your salary and other income go into your bank account and remain relatively undisturbed.

Cutting out a daily Starbucks. I tend to buy a coffee a day, sometimes two. That alone is $120 a month.

I had my smart phone connected to my laptop for internet but T mobile caught on. But, I took unlimited internet off my phone ($30/month) and just got high speed internet in my crib ($20/month) so it works out.

Here's some extreme ones that I used to save money initially:

Don't get a phone contract - just have a number people can call you by.
Move back in with parents.
Get rid of your car.
Don't eat or drink out ever.
Day game.
Exercise and pick up skills for fun.
Use your internet to download stuff so you don't need to pay for books, tv, movies, etc.

Of course, the goal in all of this should be as a starting block to make more money, which is the key to having real cashflow.

I think for everyone the easiest ways are to not eat out at all. Especially during the week.

And loading up on certain foods when they are on sale. I follow paleo and when I go to Safeway I only buy the stuff that is on sale that day. Makes a huge difference. Sometimes I will have 40 bucks worth of stuff and I end up paying 25 or so. It is easy to do since pretty much have the store is always on special. The only thing I don't skimp on is eggs. Always buy the best.

Also for those guys who don't mind fucking with utility companies I got a great trick that I use so I only end up paying about a 1/4 of the bill for the whole year. Also works on cable providers. If you want PM me and I will be happy to share. Works in Alberta anyways. Not sure about anywhere else

Oh and another great way if you are prone to parking tickets, photo radar and red light tickets is to register a numbered company then register your vehicle to the company. Register it for a couple years, I usually do 2 years and then all the tickets go to the numbered company and you have no liability and don't have to pay them. They can't come after you or put it on your credit profile.

But if you get pulled over all the time this won't help. Those tickets go to your license.

Cook at home, follow simpler recipes, shop the sale ads, and take leftovers for lunch the following day. Or freeze portions. A ton will be saved this way, and it's healthier. If you don't cook, learn, as every player needs this skill in his quiver.

Dropping the gym membership might not be a bad idea. Do circuit training instead. You can do a lot with a jump rope, kettle bell, medicine ball, and pull up bar. Hades knows this topic well.

Download free books from Google, or go to the library.

Don't buy shit unless you find the cheapest prices, which I find a lot online. Would rather order shirts from Express, than drive an hour to the mall, and be tempted to buy more shit while I'm there.

Learn to like Miller High Life, and stock up when it goes on sale.
