You eat red meat, right?
Irrelevant - probability is not risk management. If I found out the steak I was about to eat had a .1% chance of killing me on the spot and there was nothing I could do to prevent that, I'd probably find something else for dinner.
Unless you're using a dental dam, a girl with HPV sends it right into your mouth. That's where the risk of throat cancer comes from, not to mention warts. Your call.
I totally respect your decision not to engage in whatever sexual proclivity. By abstaining from oral sex, you're playing it smart, no denying it, though my initial reply to you was glib. My point was that there are cancer risks with many, many things we do on a daily basis, and we do these things often without a second thought, like eating red meat. HPV is common, yes, but cancer from HPV is still rare in men.
But, of course, just like sex itself, only total abstinence is 100% effective.
