Now that you mention it, if she's got an open sore on her lip/face, yeah, uh, you might want to get someone else to polish your knob unless you want that herpes shit forever. Doesn't go away.

There's a vaccine out there for HPV though - sounds like it'd be a good idea if you want to keep doing what you're doing.

There are two strains of HSV, 1 and 2. HSV-1 is generally associated with the mouth while HSV-2 is generally associated with the genitals. So a girl with open cold sore on mouth is unlikely to transmit it to your dick.

The HSV that matters for STD purposes is 2, a lot of people actually have 1 but are asymptomatic.
