Curious. Why don't you like living in Medellin? Have you been anywhere else outside of Medellin? i.e. Pereira, Cali, Cucuta, Barranquilla etc? If not, I can see why you have grown tired of the same shit. Every city in Colombia is like waking up to groundhog day. Everyone does the same shit every day, and parties in the same places with the same people, every weekend - all year. It gets boring for a well-traveled foreigner after 2 weeks aside from fucking different girls, which you say you do NOT like doing.

Great input as always Mixx! A few comments:

1) Have only been to Medellin. Honestly what I don't like is that Medellin in too large of a city for me to enjoy without a car. And taking taxis all the time gets expensive. Meanwhile "there's no there there". I remember living in Oaxaca, Mexico and I could walk to the town square and there was always something interesting going on.

2) Yeah, I suppose some of my "misunderstanding" or whatever you want to call it is not knowing the culture or the language. Sometimes I'm no longer sure which way is up!
