I recently got convinced to post my datasheets also in the forum, so here we go:
I have been to Bangkok in July 2011.
Clubs – Overview
Tourists: Khao San road.
Non-pros: Before 2am Funky Villa, afterwards Scratchdog. I did not see any prostitutes there, and few foreigners/tourists, but it is not that easy to meet girls there.
Mixed non-pros and hookers (hookers are not obvious, but are the most receptive, which makes it hard to know what you get): Before 2am Q-Bar, Bed Supper Club, RCA, after 2am Narcissus (I guess it belongs in this category from what I have heard).
Clubs – More Detailed
Khao San road: backpackers from around the world, some hookers, some thai girls that look for white guys. To make sure that you don’t end up with a hooker you can go for the tourists: they are not as easy as the Thai girls, but still on holiday, but it felt strange for me to be in Thailand and try to pick up Germans or Australians. It is an every night backpacker party.
Sukuhumvit Soi 11: Q-Bar, Bed Supper Club, Climax (and some small bars). Q and Supper are high-end and expensive. Real girls go here (got rejected in both Q-Bar and Bed Supper Club), but also lots of prostitutes, so the ones that are receptive could be very well prostitutes. Climax, people go there after 2 am, many hookers. Insomnia is also close and very popular after 2am, but also expect lots of prostitutes.
Sukuhumvit Soi Cowboy (Soi 21-23), Nana Plaza, Patpong: dedicated hooker territory, I didn’t go there
Sukuhumvit Soi 4: high school kids, Zaleng Club (from what i have heard / read)
Sukuhumvit Soi 5: Volk bar (someone from Roosh wrote that he met student girls there, I didn’t go there)
Narcissus: high end club like Q-Bar and Bed-Supper Club, but in Sukuhumvit Soi 23 (I didn’t go there)
RCA = Royal City Avenue (in particular Route66 and also Flex/Slim): Looks like a nice place (no obvious hookers and real people are partying), I thought I met real girls there (got also rejected), but in the end at least one girl turned out be a hooker, even though she didn’t take money and it was a fun, normal evening. (According to internet: used to be rich girls, car owning, easy to meet; now hookers and many foreigners.)
Funky Villa (in Thong Lor Soi 10, also Muse and Demo are there, not far away from Sukuhumvit). That’s were the rich Thai go now to party, very few white guys, but hard to hook up.
Skybars: Sirocco. Vertigo. Red Sky. I was in the highest one, also “the hangover” was there, the view was spectacular, the drinks were expensive.
After 2am:
Thais: Scratchdog (Windsor Hotel, Soi 20)
Mixed Thais/Pros: Narcissus (I was told that it belongs in this category)
Pros: Mixx, Climax, Spicy, Shock 39, Insomnia, after hour opposite of Spicy. Some of this places actually look nice. I have been to Mixx, Climax, Insomnia.
Most of these places are open and full every night! RCA is more people in the weekends.
My Experience
Short version: In ten days I slept with 3 girls and could have slept with at least 2 more. I didn’t pay any of them for sex, but at least of one girl I figured out afterwards that she was working as a hooker, and I probably was going out with a ladyboy.
Friday, Soi 11: „Q“ and „Bed Supper Club“ and “Climax”
Q and Bed have a high entrance fee, 800 Baht and 700 Baht, including 2 drinks each.
I got rejected in my first 2 sets in the “Bed” and the first in the “Q” (which I take as a good thing, it shows that real people go there).
Girl 1: Hot, in the bed supper club, I started touching early and she didn’t object. But she actually left, after my friend left and her friend was alone. I got her phone number on her way out. When I called her the next day, she was very focused on meeting me. We arranged a meeting, and then she sends me a message “my friend her like u. u want see her again on tomorrow?” I got suspicious and cancelled the meeting.
Girl 2: Amazingly hot, when I asked her what her job was, she replied “a bad one” and smiled. I left.
Afterwards I went to the climax. The club is ugly and feels ugly. Girls approached me, even though I didn’t even try to look interesting or interested, I left.
Saturday: RCA, i.e. “Route 66”
(First “Bangkok beat”, which is full of freelancers, I easily got a number there, but I never called.)
RCA: I liked the club, people seemed to genuinely enjoy in there. I got rejected a couple of times.
Girl 3: She danced in a circle (there are many groups like this), I open with “hey, who is the birthday girl!?” It didn’t matter that none of them had birthday. But the music was too loud to keep up a conversation, I got her phone number after a couple of minutes (“You should show me around in Bangkok!”) and I left.
Girl 4: She also partied with her friends, but in the outside more quite area. We partied together, they gave me a drink from their bottle, we went to another club “insomnia” with her friends when the route 66 closed (I paid the taxi and the entrance for her, but she didn’t ask for it, and she paid another drink for me), we went to my place and had sex without hesitation, she paid the taxi home for herself. I thought I had sex with a genuine girl.
Sunday:
I call girl 3, we meet, have dinner, go to the cinema (I hold her hand but she doesn’t wanna kiss me), we go to a bar have a drink, I cannot take her to my hotel (I was staying at a hostel with a single room, and they had complained about girl 4 in the afternoon), we go to the worst hotel ever, it’s dirty, we have sex anyway, and then we separate (after her resisting, cause she didn’t want to separate and wouldn’t understand why she cannot sleep at my hotel). I meet her again on Monday, she doesn’t enjoy the sightseeing with me, only wants to go the hotel with me to have sex, which puts me off, we split up, she sends me a message at 11pm “What are you doing? I’m bored :p”, her being so sexual starts to frighten me, she calls me like 10 times the next days, and sends like 15 messages, and wants to meet me. If I didn’t make sure she was a girl (I checked her id), I would have thought she must a lady-boy, how else can you be so only interested in sex?
Monday: Khaosan road
After having got rid of girl 3, I meet with 3 male tourist couchsurfers and a female thai couchsurfer.
We have some drinks together and talk about the girls. She finds it funny that me and the other guys are afraid of ladyboys and hookers. I try a couple of approaches, but I was quite tired and didn’t enjoy Khaoson road.
Girl 5: I meet another couchsurfing girl, she is already with other guys, but they are just drunken and don’t care for her, but I am also too tired for her and go home.
Girl 6: I realized that the first couchsurfing girl liked me (she ignored the other guys in favor of me), but she was not really my type, and after having slept with 2 beautiful girls the last nights, I had preferred to try with the girls in kaosan road, and as she had seen all this, I thought I would not be interesting for her anymore. But when I am already at the hotel, she sends me a message that she misses me! I ask her to have a drink at the area close to my hotel, she refuses, but wants to go to the full moon party with me. (I even considered it for some time, but I read on the forum here that it is a cockfest, and this fits to my experiences with overhyped party locations, so I don’t go).
Tuesday:
Girl 7: I meet a couchsurfer, she shows me around in the afternoon, she is a cool girl, I like her (even though optically she is below girl 3 and girl 4), in the evening I go out with her and her sister, I pay the dinner for them in a quite cheap restaurant but they pay me a drink later and give me a card that gets me free entrance in the bed and q club. In the course of the evening I also got to see their place (one had forgotten her id), their room is as big as my hotel room, and overall not nice. We go to the “Funky Villa”, I am the only white there. After the club closes, I take my girl to the hotel with me (I had moved to a different one, which doesn’t make problems with girls), she is the first girl to give me some resistance, I like her, and I let her stay over night. She sends me some nice messages the next days, I think of meeting her again, but I am just too busy.
Wednesday:
Couchsurfing meeting, mainly foreigners, but an ugly American girl and a nice thai girl seem interested in me, but I don’t go for it. Instead we go to the RCA, Route 66 again.
Girl 8: I meet a nice girl, we touch and dance, I rub my dick on her, as an experiment, to see what’s possible in this country. It didn’t go well, she pushes me away but we keep dancing, but after 1 hour she goes home, because she has to work the next day. I get her phone number, but she doesn’t reply on my messages the next day. [She called again on Sunday, wanted to meet in the RCA, I suggested to join us at the Funky Villa, she rejected, and when I texted to come to Skratch Dog, she said she already went to bed.] Afterwards I go with the other male couchsurfers again to the insomnia, where I was already with girl 4 on Saturday. Only now I realize that the place is full of hookers. One random girl just kisses me, I run to the bathroom, wash my mouth and leave the club.
Thursday:
Girl 9: RCA again, she is super hot and parties with friends, after the club closes we all go together to the “Mixx”. I get a free taxi ride and free entrance cause of them (they have some card). She asks me whether I want to share a bottle with them, I say ok, we are in five, it costs 2000 baht, I give 1000 and expect to get change, but no. Then we run out of mixers, she says she will give me back the money, I pay 500, but she only gives me 100 after I complain. I tell her not to use me, which she doesn’t like, she doesn’t come to the hotel with me, but wants to see me again, but I don’t, also because she had no good answer for what her job is.
Friday:
I meet girl 4 again for dinner, because she picks an expensive restaurant, I let her pay on her own, afterwards we go straight to my room to have sex, we talk for a long time, I ask some questions and I start getting convinced that she works as a hooker (i.e. she has no job, doesn’t study, her parents don’t pay for her, and she doesn’t want to tell me what she does), which disappoints me.
Girl 10: I meet a couchsurfer, at 2 a.m., she comes with a nice car, she gets me free entrance in the insomnia (it already makes me suspect that we go that club, due to my experience on Wednesday). She is not drunk but wants me to drink and is overtly sexual (especially considering that she is from CS!), speaks about ping pong shows and says that the table dancer is sexy. Somehow I suspect she is a man, her hands are just slightly smaller than mine, I ask in a non overtly manner for her id. She says she doesn’t have it with her, but gets out a bunch of cards, literally 50, I think I spot her id, but she pulls my hand away, and gives me instead a shitty card where everything is written in Thai. No way, I don’t want to take any chances, I go home. But I have to say, if she was indeed a man – be aware of the ladyboys, they can be the hottest looking girl in the club!
Saturday:
I meet girl 5 for lunch, I want to speak with a Thai girl about some of my experiences from the last days, she says I think too much and that girls here just like sex. She doesn’t understand why I didn’t meet girl 1. She openly says she goes out to meet white guys, cause she doesn’t like Thai. She also has a Swiss boyfriend, but she says he doesn’t pay for her.
I think, let’s try whether you can also get this one, even after our conversation, I suggest to go swimming at my hotel, we pick up her swimming cloth at her place (again a small room that she shares with a friend, I believe her that she is a student), at my hotel I start kissing her, she says she is confused (probably due to our heavy conversation at the beginning), but then she doesn’t resist anymore and gets comfortable in my bed. I see that I could have her, but I am tired and say that I want to sleep, also girl 9 wants to meet me, but that evening I really stay alone in my hotel, just sleeping after so many days of party.
Sunday – daygame and Funky Villa:
It was raining, so unfortunately I couldn’t try the park (my favorite daytime venue at home). I went to different shopping malls (Paragon (posh) at Siam, and a down to earth one close to the Lumphini park [which is huge and according to the Internet the best one; there is also the small Santichaiprakarn park close to Khao San road]. In both malls I couldn’t really find hotties that were in easy to approach situations. In the supermarket the clerks didn’t look so hot, the shopping girls were not so hot, the shops were small and all the few cute female shop clerks that I saw also had a male shop clerk with them. Finally I got two daytime phone numbers, in the skytrain. Asking girls for info where to go out. The first one, I got the phone number from her not so hot friend, as the hottie didn’t speak English. Second one was a business woman (very neatly dressed), my friend with experience in Bangkok said it would be impossible to get her number, challenge, I had a low-key conversation as explained before, asked her to show me around one day, she gave me the number without hesitation. Moreover, she gave her bags to hold to some guy that I realized only at this point. Sadly, I couldn’t follow up on this numbers as I left Thailand the next day and ran out of phone credit, so I don’t actually know whether I could have gotten a date.
In the evening we went to the Funky Villa. My friend with Bangkok experience, another expat, his local girlfriend, and 4 english girls. One of the English girls tried with me, she was not hot, and vomited in the end cause she was so drunk. The local girls gave a shit about us, 6 approaches of mine failed miserably (I tried in the quiet outside areas, girls were without guys there). Also the social proof of the English girls didn’t help. In the end I kissed a Korean girl. She looked at me, I didn’t realize it, but my friend told me (that happened already before in other clubs, I have to pay more attention!). She was hot, already with guys (they didn’t like me), she didn’t want to go home with me, and her fucking phone didn’t work, so I only got her email address. Anyway, I left the next day.
Conclusion
Girls are hot, the parties are good fun, the city is safe and nice. I had good success here, but the problem is that I got the feeling that one can never be sure about the girls’ real motives. The girl you meet can be easily a part-time hooker (even if you don’t go to the obvious places), or maybe she just looks for long-term benefits. This matters to some guys (including me), but many guys (especially many of the guys I met in Bangkok) couldn’t care less. The other interesting fact is that for many part-time hooker men fall into three different categories: some guys get it for free, some guys have to pay, some guys get rejected.
I did not try enough daygame to have an opinion about that ...
