Just got back from 3 weeks sarging in Addis Ababa.

Got my flag on the 3rd day there from previous online game.

I fclosed 6 girls: 2 from afro-introductions, 1 from facebook, 1 I met in the stairs of Edna Mall, 1 on the terrace of La Parisienne (Bole Road), and one in the courtyard of a restaurant (she was having injera lunch with a friend).

I must have seen about 30 girls on a date (I've been quite selective), most from afro-introductions (usually lower classes but some middle class university girls) and facebook (I added tons of girls before I went). But usually I shortened the dates to about 10 minutes if I didn't like the girls, telling them I was in a hurry but I would call them a few days later (not to be too rude). There are photographers shops everywhere in Addis so the pictures are usually much better than the reality.

Girls are sweet and friendly. Many beautiful ones if you like this type. Their faces have finer features and they have lighter skin as sub-Saharian Africans but their bodies are not as good, on average.

Girls are eager to meet foreigners and they will give up their numbers easily.

But then... the problems come...

FIRST OF ALL: The men... [Image: dodgy.gif]

The biggest assholes I've seen in 50 countries or such...

All passive aggressive cockblocking douchebags, you will never feel comfortable anywhere in public as a white man with a black girl and it will ruin your vacations mood :-)

They will literally change positions in their seats all around you to stare at the girl and make her feel as a whore... Not cool.

The result is that although women really want to be with a (handsome) young foreign guy, they are strongly discouraged to date one by social pressure. They will give you their numbers easily but then it's gonna be hard to actually meet (except the low class girls) and the actual date will usually feel very uncomfortable anywhere in public (it is a bit the case in Other African countries but not at all to the extent of Ethiopia).

In conclusion, I won't go back to Ethiopia even though I like the type of girls: it's not fun. I was very happy to leave the place [Image: smile.gif]

Anyways, if you're there and want to meet girls, I can give you the names of a few places where you will feel more or less ok, depending if it's crowded or not:

Cafe restaurant BON on Bole road (too crowded on weekends but good during the week)

The Bar of the Intercontinental hotel (Casanjes), I also like the pool and the food there and the wifi is very fast

Outside of Axum hotel there is one table that is quite good for a date.

“Pizza hut”, in area 22, is kind of Ok for a date but many young asshole Ethiopian guys are there.

Nightlife
Nightlife sucks. The only place I found interesting was Black Rose, on the second floor of Boston day Spa, on bole road. It's a bar lounge, with people dancing a bit sometimes.

Alizee jazz club could be a good place for a date but the music is so loud you have to shout at a girl's ear to communicate.

Restaurants:

Good food at Pizzeria Antica

Pizzeria Deli Roma (on Bole road)

Rico's restaurant, in front of Getu Commercial Center (15 yards down the road of New York cafe)

Axum Hotel restaurant

Gazebo Restaurant (by the museum): extremely good salads (bad pizzas)

Thanks Lika, this report sounds more realistic than the OP report. We have a large Somalian/Ethopian contingent in Canada and they rarely socialize outside there circles. The men are big cockblockers and the women are scared of them.

I will crack a Somalian/Ethopian this summer, mark my words. But I agree with you, you just gotta isolate them and pound the shyt out of them..

Just bought a ticket to Addis Ababa. These bitches are about to get a dose of an angry white man's cock!!! This trip's theme: Test the elasticity of the female anus.

I changed my Badoo profile 3 days ago and have so many emails on it I can't answer them all. Absolutely unbelievable.

Unfortunately, tickets are insanely high to Asmara. And then there's the visa issue. That trip will have to wait.

Just few tips for you ali

1. Rent a nice car if you can while you there, drive to a local university and approach a lot when you are there. Remember, countries like Ethiopia, women are more interested about your financial status than on what you look like (however, your skin colour will still make it easier).

2. Get a local to hang out with you sometimes, one that wouldnt mind you fucking his women.

3. Hit the bad areas if you find a local that guarantees where you guys heading is not really that bad. Women from bad areas are usually really hot and they never see tourists, you should destroy there if your game is tight.

4. Ethiopia is part of the 5 poorest countries in the world if in other countries they think every foreigner is rich, imagine what they will think in countries like Ethiopia.

I have only been to ethiopian airport, never around the country. But i met this ethiopian cat when i was passing there and he gave me all that information.

Why you asking anyway, is there anything wrong with my comment?

I've never been to Africa and right now Ethiopia is probably top of my list. All east African women are beautiful - Somalians, Eritreans etc. You get a lot of them in London and many of them are stunning.

Im sick as a dog and am nursing a jacked up ankle. Had to buy a ticket to Kuwait to drop off body armor. Its gonna be a challenge to say the least.

Just canceled my trip. Everything in my gut tells me not to go on this one. I'll put it off a few months when I can plan better. It sucks having to eat the cost of a $400 ticket.

Hey!

Anybody been to Ethiopia lately and can tell me what the situation is like these days(conscering the famine on the African Horn)?
My Ethiopia friend tells me it's nothing to worry about, and in the news they speak mostly about Somalia and the areas bordering Kenya.
I will for the most time be located in Addis Abbeba and the northern part of the country.
I already got my ticket to Addis (mid October, and I know alot can change until then). I am so ready for Ethiopia and all it's "fruits", but for me it won't fell right going if the famine is a major issue!

anyone got something to share that would make me feel "better" about this?

Giving this thread a bump to see if any RVFers have traveled to Ethiopia in the last year. I read the Naughty Nomad's report about Addis Ababa (old report, I just read it recently) and I'm now very interested. Been scrounging the forum for info.

Three of my coworkers went. The first went last year and couldn't take the poverty in Addis Ababa. He shot out to a small town somewhere with hot springs. He took a shitload of photos, and the place was beautiful, along with the girl he banged.

The other two went this year, and I happened to cross paths with them in the airport in another country. When I asked how it was, they both grinned like possums that just got caught in the trash can. Later they provided pics of quality. Damn.

I had to cancel that trip last year due to having a bad ankle and my dumbass drinking the tap water in Dubai. I was worse for wear.

I just got done searching through threads you've started to see if you'd ever made it there. [Image: lol.gif]

I sent a PM to rdp, hoping to find out if he ever went, and how it was. He hasn't visited RVF in months, though.

Hey MSW2007

I got your PM, I did go to Ethiopia.
The country is stunning beautiful, great nightlife (Addis), the women are beautiful (got my Ethiopian flag) and the people are helpful, polite, curious (in a good way) and it is cheap.
I really enjoyed my trip, spent some days in Addis then visited other places of the country.
I am def. going back.

Why; are you planing a trip? You should go if you can handle the poverty (the worst of all the places I have been to).
About the famine; did not see or hear anything about it.

I visit RVF several times a week, but I havent been active on the forums, just sccoping for info, planning my new trips, and reading the posts!
Works been stupid busy!

I'll try to see if I'll get the time to hit up a Ethiopia datasheet during these X-mas days.

Looking forward to the data sheet if you've got time!

Ever since I read NN's data sheet I have been intrigued. Then I started looking up pictures of Ethiopian women and there are an unbelievable amount of stunners, it seems.

I also hear that there's a rasta culture in Ethiopia, seems like an interesting off-the-beaten-path stoner destination.

I had to cancel that trip due to waking up the first morning in Dubai and drinking the tap water. Epic fail. Took 5 days to get over it, and I though I was gonna die on the flight to Kuwait. The killer was the Sri Lanken stewardess was hot enough to be a stateside model, was mad flirting with me. Dammit! Fuck she was hot. I could barely stand, and it was all I could do to maintain my composure. Oh well. On top of that I had a busted ankle. I want to hit E. Africa real bad though.

MSW2007: the rasta culture is very much alive in Ethiopia.
Haile Selassie I , King of Kings, is claimed to be a direct descendent of King David, meaning for many rastafarians that their Messiah had arrived.
Ethiopia is their Zion. Lalibela is also known as the "black Jerusalem" or "second Jerusalem".
It is a very interesting history.
And for sure Ethiopia is a very much off-the-beaten-track destination, reciving less than 400,000 visitors each year.
Getting stoned shouldnt be a problem, but I never fuck with that shit!
As for the women, you already know!
You can check out more Habeshan beauties here: http://heckyeahabeshagirls.tumblr.com/page/6
I'll try write a data sheet during the x-mas days.

Aliblahba: How was Kuwait, any data coming up?

I am planning my Addis Ababa trip now. I want to make sure I get the lodging part of the logistics right for closing. From the above posts, this area here seems to be decent (Bole Road). Any specific hotel recommendations, or maybe a better place to locate? I do not have a baller budget. Many thanks!

From what I can see, the women are beautiful and the country appears interesting for traveling. But personally, the fact that at least 70 percent of the women are genitally mutilated is major turn-off for me. No thanks.

Yea that's something alot of people don't really think about. Like how would a circumcised vagina even look?

A guy in my circle of friends is married to an Eritrean. Yes, she's gorgeous. They just had their second child (two boys).

popeyearms76: Bole road should be good.
I stayed at Ras hotel when I was here back in 2011. http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/9.01859/38.75714
Ras had a fairly good location. The price was ok, the hotel standard is basic ,but the restaurant food was shit.
It is in walkin distance to Sheraton hotel where I usually went to relax, read my book and use the pool (this had a fee) when it got to hot.
Once passed the security check inside the hotel lobby you can use all their facilities (restaurant, bar etc) even if you are not staying here.
Im not 100% sure, but I had the impression that ethiopian girls come here to look for foreign men.

I would highly recommend you to befriend a local how speaks english (the language can be an issue) and know the area. This is the best way to get to see the city and he will take you to the good clubs and local bars. Ethiopians loves to dance, it's all in the shoulders. Its awesome.
Dont waste your time fucking around, or you'll miss alot. There is much going one here.

My friend just got back from 5 weeks in addis, and he told me the city is booming with new hotels, roads, restaurants, bars and shooping malls popping up everywhere.
Addis feels safe and is safe, just watch out for traffic and pickpockets. And dont eat fucking raw meat.
This is africa, and it can be be a bit scary at first...it's fine...just go with it.
If you have time you should travel around the country, its beautiful, green and full of history and culture.
I have been to a bunch of country and Ethiopia is def. in my top three.

Don't miss it!

The Ethiopian railway to Djibouti is halfway completed, and Bridge of the Horns ( A bridge Djibouti to Yemen 2020 ) Will make Addis a completely different city in 7 years.
