Get your eyebrows threaded.
Might sound slightly gay, but you won't regret it.

Agree. BTW, I take issue with your definition of 35 as "older" :/ If that's older, I should be in a nursing home! 35 is prime of your life, not "older".

Good advice .. Mine can get bushy as all hell. Was going to do that in a few days.
This is also good advice for any "FOB" types (Eg Indian, Asian) to look more "western."

Is it a good idea to do it yourself or does a barber have to do it?

^^^ threading it off is better I believe where I think they catch the hair in a "thread" and pull it whereas if you shave it, I think there could be worse repercussions.
I always thought of it sort of like waxing versus shaving.

I can't actually think of one reason why a 35 year old would want to knock any years off his appearance.
I am 32 and have to keep my facial hair quite long and messy otherwise I look about 21. Looking young is of no discernible benefit to me in my life; business, women, anything.
I can see why the topic might be of use for guys 45+ though.

Also check your nostrils and your ears. Being well groomed just presents well and makes the right impression. Even if you have a beard it still have to be groomed can't just have stray hairs flying everywhere.

Ok I actually just got this done so I'll explain.
It's painful but it'll be fine as long as you're not a pussy.
For waxing, the pain comes due to pulling the whole area of the hair above and below each eye and they'll pull off some excess hair left over. So they "pull" 4 times.
For threading, remember they are doing more "pulls" with the threads since they're not threading the entire area. So they're doing the pulls many times.
I got waxed. End result was actually awesome in my view. I honestly look a lot younger and I'm not even bushy like that dude above. If it wasn't for anonymity I would post pics; you'll just have to take my word for it.

I've been checking out DangerandPlay.com a lot, the author recommends HRT, it is pretty expensive unless it is prescribed. I should probably get my testosterone count.
Working out, yoga, vitamins, green tea, black tea, and probiotics are some of things I'm doing to look younger. Sunblock on my face when I'm out all day, but now I'm not so sure about the Titanium and Zinc they are putting in. I also have the NuSkin "face iron" to help with wrinkles.
In Portland, the younger guys pull of the wolfie look (beard), but I'm not down with that for myself. I'll have to look into eye brow work. Thanks!

Do any of you dye your hair? I am getting a few gray hairs here and there. I sometimes yank them out.
I've got a date with a 24 year old this evening, if I have time, I might have to get the eyebrows waxed lol

I get mine dyed but at a salon. They do both temporary and permanent. I do temporary so can't speak to the permanent. Reason I did so is for flexibility. Sometimes I like the Clooney look instead once the color washes out.
The temporary will completely wash out in about 6 - 8 washes, possibly more if you use a "color safe" shampoo and conditioner. I know Fructis makes them and that's what I use for now.
The temporary should cost you about $20 - $30 in a chain salon and takes roughly half hour to 45 minutes. Maybe a bit more depending on how long they leave the color to "settle in."
You can buy over the counter hair coloring but they are said to be less safe due to ammonia and shit. Now I truly haven't researched the credibility of this statement but enough people I trust have mentioned it for me to avoid.
