Last night was awesome! I just wanna say how fun and nice the people of Barranquilla are!

So last night I met up with one of the girls from CC and went to Buenavista Mall. Very nice mall, tons of people, insane amount of hot girls! Saw a movie and after she told me she wasnt gonna be able to stay out very late tonight. I was alil disappointed as I was gonna have no time to seal the deal. I told her we would link up again before I left.

After that I went back to my Hotel (Winsdor Hotel on calle 84 y cra 46) GREAT LOCATION btw. Must be like the main nightlife gathering point because there was tons of people walking up and down this road. Anyways I had decided to go to the club called Tupacley sp? So I ask 2 girls how far it was away and they start asking me questions and ask me if im going there alone. I tell them yea and they ask me to join them tonight. I accept and they take me to their table that has one other grl and 3 guys. None of them spoke english so i was very pleased with myself for doing half decent with my spanish.

Anyways they say they are going to a club/area up the road. We walk there and one of the girls grabs my hand so that was a nice lil IOI right out the gate. After walking like 8 minutes we stop at this party/clubs shopping center. These grls were mad fun! We danced the night away.

Come close the other ppl leave and the one chick ask me if I wanna keep drinking with her, im like yea. By this time all the clubs are closed so we hit up an exito and get some aguila light and bring it back to my hotel.

Finally got my authentic Colombian flag! I did something I should not have done last night in my drunken stuper. I fucked her without a rubber! Cant believe I did that! Hopefully this chick dont try to be hitting me up for no baby or have anything! lol She was pretty cool though! Payed for a couple drinks for me after I had bought like 3 rounds for everyone!

I got to leave this hotel and head to Santa Marta in an hour! Hopefully this hotel staff didnt see me bring her in or im gonna get hit with a 70 mil extra person charge! After last night I wouldnt mind paying that!

First night in Barranquilla and with hardly ZERO effort get a SNL! Love this fucking town!

Awesome! I'm very happy to hear this. BAQ girls are the friendliest of the entire country - hands down! Local men will argue that they are NOT the best looking, but they are definitely the most DTF girls and easy-going w/o any other city coming close to their chill and easygoing vibe.

I would not worry about it too much. If she does, make sure you tell her that you need a copy of her pregnancy test from an OBGYN, and tell her that you WILL check with the actual clinic. Once they see you are not fucking around, they will play it off as a "joke". However, BAQ girls are not known to do shit like this (unless it's really true).

The girls that play this I'm pregnant bullshit (when they are not) are Paisas (girls from Medellin)...they are notorious for doing that shit to extort $$$

hey, do me a favor: tell a girl to take yo to Tayrona National Park, and let me know what it's like...I was thinking of heading down that way this summer. It suppose to have beautiful waterfalls and virgin beaches...perfect for fucking under then sun.

This is not only limited to Hostels, a lot high end hotels at least in Latin America will outright not allow you to bring girls(Pro or non pro) upstairs into your room or will charge a "girl fine." P4P websites usually have list of hotels in every country who do this shit.

Funny to read your stories Dash, especially because i will be there soon!! You are making progress quick I have some female friends to show me their cities, but i don't need to bang them that much (I can make exceptions when necessary) I am bit afraid my guias there will be some potential cockblockers.......girls don't want to approach because you are with a girl or the guias telling me she is not a good girl for you etcetc... i have to see how this will develop.

1st night in Santa Marta was pretty sweet. Im not sure if there is this many ppl due to the holiday or not but damn there is a shit load of people that was out and about last night!

I walked a few blocks to the main drag on the beach from my hostel (la brisa loca) and just took in the sights for about an hour before decided to get some grub. Stopped in this place of the strip and had like some beef tips and rice pretty good. Anyways I had a cute grl waiting on me! I ask her if there was anything to do tonight. She first said she wasnt sure with it being sunday and all. Well after that she started asking me questions and i was slowly building some comfort with her. When i got done and ready to leave i asked her if she would like to hangout tonight and she accepted. She didnt get off work till 11pm soo i went back to the hostel and got cleaned up and told her i would meet her at her work at 11.

So i meet her at her work and she says she needs to go home to change real quick. I ask her if she lives close to here and she said yea in Obrero. I had no clue where this was but I tell her i left something at my hostel and to give me a minute. I actually decided to go put my valuables back at the hostel and only carry some money for the night. lol did not wanna be rolling to far from central with wallet, camera ect.

So we get on this bus and it takes us to her crib. She lives with her mom, grandma, and brother and sister. The bus ride was alil un-nerving as the streets looked pretty desolate and creepy away from central. The barrio itself wasnt that bad. Had a lil shopping area where there was a decent amount of ppl gathered just chilling and listening to music. Her family was nice! Offered me some food and shit. After about 10 minutes the girl is ready and she takes me to a lil dive bar in here barrio that was playing reggea! Two of her friends joined us. Total there was about 20 people on the inside and out. I cant really dance to reggea soo i manly just watched and had some drinks! I made out with this girl 2 times and when it came time to leave I asked her if she would like to hangout at my hostel but she said she had to get home. I got the digits and url and maybe i can break some more ground later! I grabbed a taxi back to my hostel and called it a night!

Im about to go hit up the hippi lil fishing village of Taganga right now. Maybe find a high lil cute european that wants to have alil fun.... lol

The safety has been a none concern or issue for me. And that is WITH riding public busses and walking around at night. And some times FAR away from any tourist zones like when I was in the Castanello sp? area of Cartagena! I was the only gringo there without a doubt! These girls was very curious and amazed how I took the time to find out about the area and actually had the balls to come SOLO at that!

Obviously im not wearing any flashy jewelry and doing complete stupid shit.

Ive been more worried about someone jacking my valuable shit in the hostel, but everyone seems cool and I dont think anyone will soo far.

Colombia is a definite visit for me in the near future, wish I'd managed to fit it in on my last trip in South America would have been very possible if I hadn't got stuck in a few places.

soo on tue i went to the tayrona national park. its awesome! the hike is a bitch though! wear shoes! i was dead beat tired after i got back to the hostel after a solid 3 hours hiking. somehow i came down with a fever when i got back and it put me out of commission for that night and yest! finally by last night i was feeling better.

i linked up with a grl from couchsurfing earlier that day and she invited me out with her friends that night. we went to La Puerta. It is the main and only place to find a crowd during the week! It got packed and was alot of fun! Played alittle to much american music for my taste but o well. If i wasnt with the CS chick i could have pulled something out of there no problem. One of her guy friends told me that alot of girls are looking at me! I just laughed and brushed it off. But yea, be sure to check out La Puerta in Santa Marta. Lots of seating areas and has a decent sized dance floor that actually had ppl dancing! lol

The hostel im at ran out of rooms soo the CS girl put me up in her friends house (lawyer that lives in Bogota) She had to leave Santa Marta to go with her family to some thing and wont be back till sat. So im thinking about making a repeat visit to La Puerta solo tonight to try and get a ONS. Got my own empty place for tonight and tomm! Hells yea!

Ive been in colombia since april 11. i leave on the 27. so i got like 6 more days left. Yea this is my first time here, and def wont be my last! love it here. Just had a kick ass meal (beef soup, steak, rice, and beans, juice) for 4.5 pesos!!! The girls are fucking hot and friendly. Just all around a great place for a young - middle aged gringo!

My spanish is pretty damn basic. Just enough for getting by. Cant really have a REAL convo with someone yet. Which really limits oneself! I mean you can and will have fun without it but with it, it will open up SO MANY more doors!

To really see and experience most of the Park you need to camp there for a day or two! I was soo tired and wanted to get back to Santa Marta i jetted straight for the nearest beach (theres alot) and took some fotos and had a quick dip then I was heading back dreading the fucking hike through barely plausible paths through the sweltering jungle!

But pretty much it looks like a fucking postcard! Just sick. Here are some of the fotos I took. This beach / area is called Arrecifes. There is like 7 more beaches and areas up the coast!

You know its funny, i was there and saw some ppl from the hostel and they were like who are you here with. I was like a Colombian grl and her friends! But yea doing this kinda stuff like making chick friends and going out is not good for picking up! Unless you have known them for some time. I just dont feel comfortable to be invited out with a grl i barely know then hit on other grls in the club in front of the grl that invited me out. Just not tasteful in my opinion. So yea best thing to do is divided up ur time. Like tonight im rolling dolo.

So hopefully i can make something happen!

I can imagine must be hard hitting on other chicas. I have contact with some of them for a while now and all the time they had a boyfriend(ideal because they not chasing me and still i get to know some local people). 2 out of the 3 amigas are single now and now begins all the bullshit. "Yeah we can visit tayrona together" etcetc....But on the other hand... I know this girl from Bogota and she told me already: I want to introduce you to all my hot friends and i have seen some pictures already WOW those girls are insanely hot.
