Doing a 12 week Egyptian Arabic course, about 1 week in. Using flash cards to supplement my learning, very useful by the way. Hopefully at the end my English/French/Arabic combo will unlock the Maghreb and other areas in Africa.

I'm living in a very multicultural flat at the moment and our newest flatmate is French so this may be the excuse I need to take my French to the next level, I already speak Spanish + Brazilian Portuguese so it should come rather quickly. I'm under the impression though that of the romance languages French is the most difficult, and I find the French much more impatient with their language than Portuguese/Spanish speakers, but we shall see.

Recibí una ochenta y seis en una examen de español. Debemos que escribir la idioma en el hilo.
Translación: I received a 86 in a spanish exam. We should write the language in the thread.
I'm up for the challenge. Language courses seem to be the only useful thing I'm learning in college.
Nope.

Translate that shit.
If we're all posting different languages it would help to say it in English as well so we can have a common language to see what it says.
Nope.

I took my free 1 hour course on Saturday, it was alright I guess. very I formal and unstructured. we basically just chatted for about 40 minutes and then went over some ser vs estar problems.
kinda felt obligated to take at at least 1 paid lesson as well so I took it on Monday. same things just chatted in Spanish, not worth $15/h. I can chat with any 1 of my 3 harem girls for free. if she had set lessons planned or some sort of structure maybe it'd be worth it, but I don't need to pay some broad to chat with me.
also bought the 3 books roosh recommends in bang Colombia. will be going over drills and exercises from those. pulled out my 1000 most common Spanish word flash cards and broke them up into 10 stacks, will hammer out a stack a week and only add the most challenging words to the next weeks stack.
been hitting pimsleur lessons everyday. been listening to them 2 times each now, on #15. have a long ways to go. 15/90.
I may use the services of italki and find an informal tutor that charges $10 or less and commit to doing a few lessons a week. I want to hit Spanish from all angles

Good work KsockZ
Stick with it! I'm kicking myself for not sticking with my Spanish Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone now.

I'm learning German and Russian. With German I've been learning it for seven years - so I am conversational in it - but my vocabulary is small and I am just out of practice. If anyone on here would be willing to be my penpal - please let me know.Started my second year of Russian at university. I'm just starting to get the hang of making sentences and how things work.
90 Day Goal for German: get a reliable pen-pal and translate five posts of my blog into German. I'm 3/5 of the way through one post already
90 Day Goal for Russian: work on building a really solid foundation in Russian fundamentals so that my progress can take off

Does anyone else use duolingo? They've got Danish, Gaelic and are adding Turkish as well as the 'big' languages
