I was there the day feminism fell...
This one is a bit of a mystery to me. He had left the country, and appeared to have made a decent "getaway", as ex-military strongmen go.
But yet he returns to Pakistan to get back into politics? Seems to be self-delusion on a major scale here.

He reminds me of so many dorky Indian guys I knew in grad school.
When he was giving lots of interviews in the mid-2000s, my cool Indian wingman and I would crack up watching him.
His presentation is absurdly incongruent with a strongman dictator who could order a successful hit on Benazir Bhutto, coordinate with ISI, Al-Qaeda, etc.
