I sat next to Biz Markie once on a plane from NYC to LAX.

He ate a whole bag of Cheetos, didn't wash his hands or brush his teeth, and then just passed out. He snored and slobbered everywhere.

When the plane landed he had orange Cheeto slop all over himself and the seat. It was in his eye lashes.

I had to keep him from rubbing on me. The whole cabin smeeled like cheetos.

Aloha!

I guess that's why he had trouble getting friend-zoned and not keeping his girls on lock.

Fantastic guy. One man TV show and has a heart of gold. The type of guy who'd give you the shirt off his back. I had my friends asking me about him for weeks afterwards. Certainly got the ability to leave an impression on people.

The B-52's. Weirdest, freakiest old people ever.

Many of these is when I was working in catering in college.

In November last year, I met Erica Davis, one of the presenters from Melbourne Weekender (some TV show where they highlight good deals on things to see and do in this city) when she and her crew were filming a spot for the show.

I've met alot of celebrities. I'll start with a few that when they entered the room people were genuinely excited.
Mel Brooks (very nice/happy man), Sean Connery, Bill Murray, Hulk Hogan (signed a ton of autographs/nice guy), Dan Marino, Joe Namath (nice guy/signed tons of autographs), Shakira (very nice), Fantasia (American Idol/very sweet girl, kids love her).

I met Bill Clinton in Harlem. Sandra Day O'Connor when I was in law school. She gave a speech about her book. She was very funny. Ruth Bader Ginsburg at an airport.

But I saved the worst for last. I met the Williams sisters. These two big ugly bitches were rude to everyone. They are even uglier and bigger in person.

I've met Coco/Ice T a few times. I know one of his boys from way back. When she walks into a room everything stops.

Whenever I see Guy Fieri in "Diners drive ins and dives" on Food Network he comes off as such a douchebag. Is he cooler IRL?

He is a merry drunk retard. He was cooking "celebrity appetizers" at a charity event and we just kept feeding him whiskey.

He has that, If I'm happy, you'll be happy vibe meaning its best to "respect" his celebrity. Nothing special.

All in all, celebrities are pretty underwhelming. I've met dudes on this side of the world that impressed me a lot more.

I sort of met the founder of this very thread, the JJ Roberts. That was before he hit it big and was just Lumiere.

I should have given him the shirt off my back because of the oppressive stench the one he was wearing.

No friends asked about him, but a life coach he wanted me to meet called me several weeks afterwords.

He left an impression on me.

Didn't that technically mean you met Crocodile Dundee? From the pictures I found of him he looks like that but gayer. Apparently he's dating 20 women at the same time.

Must be some serious skill with a mug like that. Granted there's more than enough fatties to go around. I'll stick to my one girl who is a "stick" or some hook ups now and again with "sticks" since I don't feel like paying for a "lifestyle coach" that'll introduce me to "real [fat] women".

George Lynch - great guitarist from 80s rock band "Dokken".

When I was working a customer service job for auto insurance I once spoke to him over the phone; apparently he owns over 7 cars. (Verified that it was him because out of curiosity I googled his address just to make sure). I also saw him in-person once at a local guitar exhibition (this was prior to talking to him on the phone, so it was a huge coincidence).

For the record, I'm a fan of Dokken's music, however George Lynch's solo album (under the band Lynch Mob) is definitely one of my favorite, 80s hard rock albums ever.

He's my favorite guitar player and surprising not very well known. Back for the Attack may be the most underrated album in music history.

As far as meeting celebrities, I definitely don't go out of my way to meet them and really don't care at all if I meet any celebrities. That being said, there is a guy who is a current celebrity who I've known my whole life. If you read my posts, you can easily figure it out. I met a bunch of random 80's and 90's pro athletes like Barry Sanders and Andres Gallaraga.
He seemed like a pretty chill guy when I talked to him. Yeah, Back for the Attack has some kickass tracks on it. Definitely recommend checking out "Wicked Sensation" by Lynch Mob if you haven't already.

I just can't imagine what the lifestyle coach was going to teach me. I wish now that I would have called him.

I just picture him saying " OK your gonna stink real bad, wear full leather from head to toe in the in Hawaii, and sleep on strangers couches, now let's do this!"

A friend of my aunt was either the wife or girlfriend of Ed Luater, I got to meet him outside of a Blue Jays game when I was a kid. He was in a wack of movies including Revenge Of The Nerds and usually played bad guys. Nice guy in real life, passed away in 2013.

Met Mr.T in Las Vegas quite a few years ago. He was in town for a boxing match and was staying at Bally's. He stood near the registration desk, shaking hands and taking pictures with everybody. Hell of a nice guy, the complete opposite of his B.A. Baracus / Clubber Lang personas.

Was surprised that he's not as tall as he's usually portrayed. I'm well over 6', and he's like 5'9". He was wearing his trademark chains and what looked like a collection plate around his neck. I thought he was an impersonator at first.

Met Andrew W.K. back in 2013. I went to one of his shows with one of my friends, and after the show, he was just chilling out at the bar, talking to whoever was still around.

He seems really laid back in person. Judging from his music, you might expect him to be constantly slamming shots of vodka like he's stuck in his first semester of college, but he's actually extremely intelligent and well-spoken. And he obviously lifts. Guy's pretty built.

I walked by Manute Bol, the 7'7" former NBA player, although we didn't exchange any words.

I'm 6'3 and I've never felt so small in my entire life. Dude was like one of those trees from Lord of the Rings. Freaky....

Also, David Schwimmer (Ross from Friends). Was kind of a douche when I asked for an autograph.

I forgot one person I met on Park Avenue around 25 years ago. It was OJ with his wife Nicole (I'm not certain but pretty sure). I walked behind them for a block. She was walking 5 or so steps behind him which I found strange. We all got to the light and I say "Hey Juice." He gives me a big smile and says hello. Once I said something, a couple of other guys said hello and shook his hand. He has a huge head. She was a typical trophy wife: nice hair, high heels, fur coat. I never forgot her -- she made an impression. Plus I don't remember seeing a woman like her with a black guy back then too much.

One time I missed a golden opportunity to shoulder check Geraldo Rivera. I was deployed to a mass casualty situation and was working in medical at the time. I was called from the office to the ICU for an emergency. So I start hauling ass down the passageway and Geraldo (who was there covering the story) starts lazily walking out from a patient's room, blissfully unaware that my 6'5" 215lb ass is booking it straight towards him. I lowered my shoulder, and at the last possible second, he sees me and jumps out of the way. I would've hit him square in the jaw and sent his stupid fat greasy mullet head flying into the steel door frame. This near miss is one of my biggest regrets.

Not on here much anymore. I'm either out on 2 wheels or trying to kill something.
