Okay - with that out of the way. I want to bring up a topic about the future of dating...
You see - it is my contention that women love babies more than they love sex or men.
So - with that in mind - I think we will soon be entering a world where people have their gene sequencing uploaded onto their smartphones. And depending on how your DNA fits in with her DNA -will decide whether or not she wants to settle down with you.
Since - I believe a chick would rather reproduce with a regular looking guy over a super handsome guy - if it meant (for some genetic reason) the baby would be superior as a result.
It will be interesting to see if dating heads down this path. Or if it heads down the path of designer babies instead.
I guess it depends which technology becomes feasible first. And my sense is that having computer find the best match for your DNA with another chick is the technology which will be alone first.
And with that in mind - I am sure this will be the logical endpoint for th giant internet dating sites.
Imagine being able to browse through photos of 20 chicks who desperately want to meet you since your DNA happens to be a perfect match for their DNA.
Internet dating would flip from being a seller's market to a buyer's market.
