I like laugh7 and popcorn5, not really sure if I'll ever use the others. But - why Spongebob? What emotion is Spongebob supposed to convey? I'm not American, so maybe I'm missing out on some hidden meaning.

In the scene from the show, I think spongebob is sitting down in boating school, anxiously eager to learn from his teacher. So maybe a "rapt attention" gif, kind of "I'm listening sir"

I think the the spongebob gif would be used if someone has told a less than interesting story and you are busting his balls by acting overly interested. Like when a girl tells you about her day.

I feel like there should be an eject gif for situations when a guys asking about what to do with a girl with obvious red flags.
