There's no doubt simping exists but there is, in my opinion, way more famous guys banging better looking women. I think we just pay more attention to these particular cases because the contrast between the man's and woman's value is too stark.

I used to be heavily involved in my local hip hop scene and I've got first hand knowledge about groupie chicks.The shit is mind blowing when you look at it from a distance.Groupie broads really opened my eyes up to female nature.And I will say that most women given enough exposure to a particular scene will start to display groupie traits.Now when I meet women that call rapper's and DJ's by their government name I don't walk...I run the other direction.

The spotlight has a way of magnifying everything. Every flaw becomes tremendous and every virtue/benefit blown out of proportion.

A personal aside for me, is that all my girls here in LA have offers to become "sugar-babbies". If a hot girl doesn't have that offer, she is lying to you. My main girl has at least 10-15 guys willing to date her, and probably another 10+ willing to sponsor her. A gold-digger is basically a women player. Those exist, and trust me they have lots of "woman game" especially on average guys.

My dad's friends (50+ yr old dentist) has a new chick every 2 months. Thats about how long a gold-digger lasts if you don't upgrade her lifestyle. This is the type of chick that is looking for the bigger, better deal. He'll buy the chick food, drinks, clothes, fly them out on vacay w/him BUT thats it. NO CARS, NO JEWELRY, NO PROPERTY.

I've noticed the same thing, and it's not only black guys.

At my university it was the mostly white lacrosse (division 1) players who were gods. They had their pick of girls from our or nearby colleges. It would follow that they'd always be banging the hottest girls, right? That simply wasn't the case.

The girls were attractive, but no where near the best looking around.

What they were was party girls who were the most *socially aggressive*

I think the guys were just lazy and the "lax rats" were easy pickings.

I didn't see the same kind of financial simping, though.

I've lived in ATL for about ten years ago and I'm too familiar with the simp, trick, thirsty mentality. These hoes out here have been brainwashed by the stripper culture and every girl down to teens is looking like a straight prostitute. They have instagrams full of quotes claiming what they think a woman "deserves" but will pop it off for the dopeboy, rapper, athlete, club promoter and any "industry" dude that gives off that aura HOWEVER

if you really look close, the guys claiming to have hella bitches really are not pulling the quality 8, 9s, and dimes. Everything is a facade.

It is true that thirsty, tricking ass men makes it hard for the real guys out there. Straight off the street, pretty much every time I start cold turkey approaches with a woman (I'm 26 yo black, educated, grad school, not socially awkward and work multiple jobs) I have to subtly let her know I'm not about that stalker, finance your life nonsense. Every girl you've successfully dated, you put her up on game or you upgraded her and they respect it. It does get exhausting having to undo that mentality in them especially with all the imagery in the media (fuckin VH1).

That's why I can't wait to hit other US cities and move out of this bitch for good by 30.

I wonder just how rich some of these guys actually are. The record industry is notoriously hard on artists. Every cent that a label spends on an artists get taken out of sales. They make money other ways, but they also have expensive lifestyles.

Athletes may be better off since they get guaranteed millions a year, but they also have expensive lifestyles, relatives with their hands out, shady managers and business partners, etc. According to Sports Illustrated, 78 percent of NFL players are bankrupt or under financial stress within two years of leaving the NFL.

If a guy is handing out cars to groupies like cups of coffee, that's probably a sign of poor money management skills.

A whole lot of these rap stars and athletes go broke in a few years. How long is a rapper going to be dropping millions in sales before he is no longer able to get the same sales he once did. Same with sports stars they work for 5 maybe 10 years then retire or get injured a lot of the time. Meanwhile they never saved money so the lifestyle inflation of spending millions a year catches up to them. Its foolish for these guys with limited earning years to spend like they will be making millions forever and 150k gifts of cars and condos to groupies add up real quick.

Last night I watched a documentary called "Broke", about how something like 70% of professional athletes go broke after a certain number of years. You take a talented 20-22 year old athlete who grew up dirt poor and he gets his signing check of 500,000-3mil, and what does he do? Blows most of it. Zero financial maturity at all. Can't fault them, most kids would do the same.

It was a well-made documentary. It's easy to idolize athletes and celebrities but you have to understand they're just normal people. Well, most normal people are dumb as fuck, and you take your normal dumbfuck and put them in a scenario where they have massive amounts of attention from women, you've got family members leeching, you've got friends you didn't know you had telling you they've got a great idea for a business and you should definitely open your own chain of carwashes or fried chicken joints, you've got Uncle Sam taking half, you've got your agent scamming you and diverting your funds into his own accounts, you're getting spammed from 100 different directions, all people that are hungry for your money.

The average young person simply can't deal with this. I couldn't at 22. There's not a single person that goes up to these people with their best interests in mind.

Your average blue-collar joe that's in this 30s would have a much higher chance at dealing with fame and fortune better, because he's made it to his 30s and presumably learned a few things along the way.

Not gonna lie. I felt pretty damn good after watching the documentary. If that movie is true, that means my net worth is a great deal higher than many former (and current) professional athletes.
