This alpha/beta shit is only useful at the very beginning if you're starting out.
I agree.
I think that each of us has a balance between "alpha" and "beta" that works best for us.
It must be
congruent with our personality, look, and attitude. It helps if we appear
authentic. People can often tell when we are faking it.
Find the balance that works for you.

Gio's stuff reminds me of Tim Duncan and the Spurs at their height -- everything looks simple but there are no unforced errors and it's always right place right time.
Hahahaha!!!
You know I am a big Spurs fan!
I am more like Ginobili, a little crazy but fiercely competitive and willing to do whatever it takes to win.
(I still make mistakes everyday but I usually post more of my successes than failures) (I should post more of my mistakes)
But seriously, I approach a lot of girls with basic, simple comments and questions.
I have success because I do this in large volumes and in situations where the girls guard is down
(University Library, public transportation, etc.)
My confidence is alpha but my conversation is often very simple and intellectual to the point of being beta.
I often soften my vibe and presentation so I don't scare the sweet, young college girls. If I was hardcore alpha all the time on a college campus, it wouldn't fit. Hardcore alpha would be better at a nightclub or bar.
I adjust to fit my environment. Sort of like a chameleon.
Okay, enough of this "alpha/beta" talk! It's hard to define and very "watery". I say, just work on presenting yourself with confidence and flair. Dress well, speak well, be funny, be fearless! Who cares if it's generally considered "alpha" or beta"?
Just do what works for you.
Eliminate your fears and weaknesses through hard work, focus, and dedication.
Sometimes, "alphas" are idiots and "betas" are ballers..
