Lulu - men rating app

You have now been reduce to a score. (100,000+ downloads on Android alone.)

The app connects through a person's Facebook page, and once it has been downloaded, the user can see how others have rated her male friends.

Female users can critique everyone from platonic guy friends to hookups and former boyfriends. You rate their best and worst qualities, which can be as innocuous as #Doesn'tAskQuestions or #Meh to as spiteful as #TotalF**kingD**khead. It's paradise for someone who takes pleasure in trashing former flings, especially since all reviews are anonymous and there's absolutely no accountability.

As if dudes needed another thing to neutralize their game. Wait a second, this shit is written by anonymous chicks?

AFK, making six fake female facebook accounts and installing lulu to write "10/10 SO WOULD BANG", "OMG SO GREAT IN BED #HUGE D***", "HAD LIKE 10 ORGASMS LOL", and so it's believable, a token neutral one like "Has a dog".

This app is pretty smart. If you attempt to login with your existing facebook profile it checks if you are male. If you then change you sex to female, it actually remembers that you were male before. It then send you to a site called luludude.com where it tries to get you to send the app to 25 of your female friends in exchange for telling you YOUR "lulu" score. It doesn't tell you IF you have a score just that it would reveal if you do for 25 shares. So it's trying to trick guys into fucking themselves over by actually marketing it for them.

AND of course who provided the initial seed money for the app? This idiot (John Wallace):

And this is the woman that created it:

So by adding a girl to Facebook, I give them a way to see me on Lulu where I...

...can't see what others are saying about me
...can't see who is defaming me
...can't dispute falsehoods

This can be a game disrupter for guys who have a lot of Facebook friends.

Isn't this some serious invasion of privacy? I don't see how this company is not getting sued soon.

This is facebook problem. They basically allow all apps to access most of your information because that is how they make their money - targeted advertising.

Another reason to avoid Facebook. Not doing the Facebook thing (or having insanely tight security on your page) adds to a man's mystery and aloofness. He simply doesn't give a shit about Facebook or other social media. He doesn't need the validation.

One more reason not to be on Facebook -- if having 1,000 fake "friends" weren't reason enough.

NY Times just published an article about it:

What’s He Really Like? Check the Lulu App

Quote:Quote:

“It’s just this gratifying thing that you know you can do,” she said. “You have no control of whether a guy is great or a jerk and at the end of the experience, even if no one reads it, you feel like you have gotten back at the guy. You have taken a bit of control.”

I think men rating women online would quickly be classified as sexist and nasty.

Great thread! only 2 women on facebook have this app. I shared it on my feed so hopefully more get it soon... Just use fiverr and odesk to get astronomical ratings and build a mini facebook harem. For those with cousins and sisters its easy to have them tell you whats on your lulu profile... embrace technology dont shun it!

You guys realize that FB users can hide their use of any app, so their names won't come up in a search, right?

I downloaded the app and it says 1 girl favorited me. And 4 checked me out so far on Lulu.

Nope.

I read up online, apparently they have a way to remove yourself from this: http://company.onlulu.com/deactivate

Some people have also reported success in e-mailing the company and getting them to take down their profile. I think I will e-mail them, I don't care what girls have had to say about me, I don't want my information on their stupid app.

I also make it a practice to not make my facebook profile searchable, and also not add any girls I'm trying to bang.

Who cares, is you have a ton of reviews (good or bad) that means a lot of girls fucked you, which is a huge DHV.

Make ten accounts and rate yourself in the next few weeks. Sex scores good to excellent, others don't matter as negatives will be seen as butthurt pumps and dumps which will drive other girls to try to "change you" (with sex).
