But please, dont book your flights yet due to high concentration of marriage agencies, it is more difficult to get laid than in Kiev.

Guys, it's good that you mentioned Nikolaev. The city is not exactly a haven for international businessman (unlike Kiev) and using that as an excuse when shit tested by women would probably fail. So if one were to meet a girl from Nikolaev online and then visit her as part of a broader Ukraine trip don't you think that the person would really stick out as a sex tourist, especially if they did not look/act like a local. What are you guys trying to do to minimize this stigma?

Exactly, that is the problem we face in ukrainian province, especially in a town like Nikolaev, which is the epicentre of the marriage agency business in Ukraine ( Google: City of brides)

A foreigner has absolutely NO reason to be there, except chasing girls. Apparently hordes of marriage agency guys, accompanied by their translators are strolling around the town. Most of the guys are total loosers, ruining the image of foreigners in Ukraine. Although economic situation is much worse than in Kiev, many girls dont want to be seen with foreigners.
However I plan to check it out, maybe language skills, good dress etc.help to overcome this.

That being said nik is a bad city simply because loads of foreigners so no exotic factor. Add that they have the famous Odessan snobbiness due to close location.
As has been said before Nothing beats Kiev(Moscow). Sure they might cost more but you actually get your money's worth. Guys need to realize being penny foolish is a disaster in FSU. Talking even about quality of food and nightlife. Kiev is 7 nights of nightlife and full streets for daygaming.provinces are empty streets and 1-2 nights max at night venues. Plus the girls more likely be taken to club with her mafia Bf.

Guys, I was on a weekend trip to Kiev in November (second 2-day-trip).Yes, if you're looking to get laid quickly you better choose Poland... I had great fun in Kiev and it was pretty easy to hook up with girls and to make out with them (no sex though).

First evening we went to Skybar which is more a high roller club. Nice girls...watch out for pros. The guys can be pretty protective. I really liked the party atmosphere at Skybar. However, if you really want to attract girls, get yourself a table and a bottle of champagne.

Second evening we tried Forsage club, a student club, 10min ride from the city center. This one is a whole different story: large 3 story club packed with students...the good thing: no pros. By 1am everyone will be drunk, including the girls. Made out with 2 girls, one of them was particulary pretty...still in contact with her today through whatsapp (btw: noticed that almost nobody uses whatsapp in Ukraine...wtf). Had a great time with her...however, I ended up getting punched in the face by one of her admirers. Shit happens.

Also went to Buddha Bar for dinner, not cheap but I found it very good, nice venue. Also tried Praga Restaurant...recommended! Both are not for the budget traveler.

Sonny, thanks for the info but why the heck would you go to Kiev for 2 days? Even getting laid requires multiple dates in many cases and that is with perfect logistics. In my honest opinion anything under a week is a waste of time.

I had the chance to spend a couple of days in Kyiv. Here is my update report:

Compared to my last visit I found the girls a bit less beautiful and more reserved.

The good:

- lots of pretty, skinny girls

- girls use makeup and fashion to improve their looks very well

- I found it rather easy to get dates from pipelining on Tinder/ CS even Facebook(!)- had 2 days with 4 dates each

- the pipelined girls ranged from 6.5 all the way to 7.5 - very happy with looks for that

- daygame is rather easy -I did not do much this time but Kreschatik coffee shops and supermarkets are a good arena for this

- Kyiv has a reasonable amount of things to do - it is probably the most interesting FSU town I have spend time in

- there isn't much cockblocking from locals - people respect your privacy and PDA isn't an issue either (you can mostly do whatever you like as long as you keep some clothes on)

- girls are desperate for quality male attention - they take a chance to come out if you give them one



The bad:

- many of the girls I went out with gave me the corpse feeling Rosh described, they don't say much, don't smile, give you quick yes/no answers

- its so hard to get any useful conversation to work with this behavior, even on a second date girls were superbly reserved, this may not be a bad sign but these dates are as much fun as going to the dentist

- sexual attitudes are very conservative, you can feel they are very excited but LMR will still cost you notches

- bangs on a first date are very rare (but I had one luckily)

- 3 dates are a lot of time for the girls and lots of non-sense to listen through

- many girls don't drink (some do very hard though) and will all tell of you of Italy - the only country they have all traveled to (to fuck Italians supposedly)

It's not a place I'd consider staying much. While the girls are pretty and plenty only a couple of those dates were fun. Less than in Asia (most dates there end in a bang anyways) and even less than in the USA.

This is spot on, I'm here now. The girls are depressed these days. A lot of them are aware of sex tourists. They are very suspicious of why a foreigner comes here. 3 dates for a lay is just too much for this guy. A lot of daily chatting and upkeep for a 7 max isn't worth it. You'll end seeing the 9s and wanting those more regardless. Had a girl in my bed on the first date tell me sex is forbidden. Today realized it's actually much easier to get laid in America.

The city itself def isn't for everyone especially if you like warmer weather or the beach. The girls are overrated imo looks wise depending on your taste. Personalities are flat. Latin America and Asia has better looking women imo. Not really into high cheek bones or skin covered in moles.

I agree with everything you said but come on... Firstly its the cheapest hood capital city that youd prob want to go to in the world right now and the girls are certainly decent. Yes its hard. Yes you need to invest time. But investments and time pays off. Have not been to asia or brazil tho so take it with a grain of salt.


Again tho- everything besides apartments is so dirt cheap it almost makes all the negs worth it. I beleive its cheaper than all of SEA at the moment. Also the city is deff in transition (slowly but surely) and is will keep you interested for a month minimum but yes it can feel like a big village after a while but so do most towns back home in america after a month also

I can't say enough about how knowing fluent Russian would change everyone's experience going to Ukraine. That is why I postponed my trip to Russia and Uzbekistan until next year. I got to get my Russian like my Portuguese is now. Brazil is a totally different experience with fluent Portuguese, and I would not be getting half as many of the women and enjoying myself without it.
As Ligurian mentioned in a recent post, being in Russia is a wonderfully maddening experience, but only if you know Russian.

I think fluent Portugese in Brazil is indeed a game changer. My Russian is pretty solid (enough for a date conversation) but I did not feel it is a big game changer here. It gives access to prettier girls but the slow 3 date cycle is the same.

This is very true and probably the reason I did well while in Latino countries. Without Spanish, I may not have gotten any play.

The high point about Kiev is it is INSANELY cheap except for cost of housing. Currently, pondering whether or not to hit a second-tier city before returning to Asia. Second-tier is more cheap, $1000 or less could get through a month including housing. Really nothing to lose.

The problem with the game is it will turn a man into a sex addict. The women here aren't horny like in other countries. Almost all of them are curious as to why a foreigner is here and for good reason. You definitely need a cover story even then they are still suspicious. I would recommend coming here after a country where you were having a lot of sex. Don't do what I did and come straight from a place after not getting laid for awhile.

I should have learned Russian before diving in, and it would have made day game/night game more possible. Online game gets me a lot of matches and what not (some of the girls are fine too, it's such a tease ), but the flake level is big almost 100% Maybe if I get the desire to come back in a few years when I'm 35 and learn some Russian success may come easier.

Also, men with more masculine looks who are taller will do much better here. If you're like me 5'9" young face, dark features, it's difficult to do much damage without a high level of game or approaches or money.

Like mentioned, 3 date cycles aren't worth it for some. I get aggravated after date 1 without more than a kiss. It would have to be something above a 7 to have that type of patience. I told the forbidden sex blonde she was prude yesterday to get her off my back. She kept trying to make daily plans for us. She had beautiful blue eyes and a decent body, but wasn't worth the work. Maybe a little over a 6 at best.

Taller men, all things being equal, do better pretty much everywhere in the world. Your analysis is pointless. Don't let that be an excuse for your results. My point is that you can't use height, or skin complexion as an excuse. It's an easy way to excuse yourself from producing solid results. I don't know what kind of results you have, or if you even have any, but based on the bulk of your posts that I've read, it's a common theme - lookin for outs. It definitely seems like lack of confidence is your biggest issue, which girls can smell a mile away.

I don't want to turn this into a post where I point out your flaws that I've noticed in your writing, but in a country where you're a foreigner, provided you have decent game, there's absolutely no reason why you can't have good results.

One of the fella's I met in Kiev, was Beirut, who is almost a carbon copy of what you described above. Despite the fact that he was with his main lady for most of the time, the eye-rape when we went out was real. He had solid results for being in Kiev for a short period - he's confident though, and would never use height as an excuse.
