Have you ever popped a viagra just to see what happens?

I haven't, but I've heard that even young healthy guys have adverse reactions like palpitations and such, so I've always steered clear.

Quick backstory: I'm a healthy, in shape, 27 year old dude living in Thailand.

YMMV, but I think your experience with it may have been a psychological effect in that short a time period. Did you find that you got rock hard every time the wind blew for the next 2 days?

Hmm, that's interesting. The packaging states that it should start working as soon as 30 minutes. But maybe there was some placebo working in my favor. Hard to tell.

The ones I have are 20mg. I did get sinus congestion and a bit of a headache. So are you saying 10mg (or even 5mg) will do the trick with less side effects?

Maybe I'm a slow responder.

I used to get a load of generic 20mg Tadalafil tablets from India, cut them into quarters and take 5mg a day. I was permanently ready for action - sometimes too ready, in fact, it could have been socially embarrassing, haha. Trouble is I started to get bad muscle aches (a fairly common side-effect) for several days when I started a course, so I may have developed some kind of over-sensitivity, or I got a bad batch.

VV, for single dosing, 10mg was perfectly adequate for me - 20 was overkill.

5 mg has always worked great for me (I buy the 20's and cut them in 1/4)... anything more than that and I get the harsh side effects (headache, stuffy sinuses, flushing, etc.). My reaction time seems to be about 30 minutes after taking it, and I'm usually good to go for about 48 hours.

Orgasm always feels the same to me, with or without cialis... but the sex can vary I guess. Mostly because it gives you the ability to keep fucking, even if you normally wouldn't be as interested. Can be difficult to orgasm after the 3rd or 4th time in a night/morning combo.

Personally 1 or 2 hours is not enough time for Cialis to take effect. If you want fast-acting then I would stick with Viagra or Levitra gels. 10mg cialis is fine over a few hours unless you have some sort of physical problem.

Incidentally, viagra is now out of patent, so you should be able to buy cheap generics quite easily.

In the States it's harder to get hold of generic Cialis, even from the overseas pharmacies, but I heard that if you tell them you plan to use it only when you are abroad, they'll post it to you.

For me, sex with cialis is the same, just a harder cock. With viagra, I find it delays orgasm and maybe slightly reduces the physical sensation when cumming.

To add to that, OP, I also think some women just don't quite do it for you, even if they are hot by all outside appearances. Perhaps your vibes are just misaligned, you're not hormonally compatible, or her personality just rubs you the wrong way on a subconscious level.

That's a really good point man. In fact, I've been thinking about this for a while. What if attraction happens on a deeply unconscious, hormonal/biological level? And what if NOT getting a wood (if you're otherwise healthy) is nature's way of telling you that you shouldn't be boning this girl (whether she's infertile, poor mix of genetics, etc.)

I had similar issues when I watched porn regularly. And even to this day, sometimes my dick goes AWOL. But give it 6 months to a year and you'll start finding real women stimulating again and you probably won't WANT to watch porn anymore. Just my take on that one.
