Has anyone met a girl away from their home country and brought her home for marriage & kids?

A lot of guys talk about this, but I'm curious if anyone here has actually done it.

I'm at a stage in my life where getting started on a family is more interesting than notches and ONS. Wondering if I should keep trying for that small town american girl next door, or just meet one overseas and import...

The problem with importing is that over time, they become like the American women we go overseas to avoid. It's almost better to find a country that you think you can live in, and settle with her there.

I actually brought a fiancee here under a K1 visa. She was really young, and changed her mind about marrying me after we got back here. She wasn't a scammer, just wasn't into me enough. I paid for her ticket back.

However there are risks. SOme are less likely than others, I don't know how freq #2 happens:

1) You waste a year waiting for the visa if you are in the USA working, and you may end up screwed like I did.

2) You have to sign an affadavit of support, and she can claim you beat her up, and because of the VAWA she can leave you, stay in the USA, get on welfare and food stamps and you owe the government the money for supporting her except after she works 10 years or something like that.

3) She can have kids here, get citizenship or perm residency, ditch you, then you're on the hook for exorbitant child support.

4) She can be doing the long con, stay on birth control if you want kids, then when she gets citizenship after 2-4 years ditch you for the Russian or whatever -- guy she really wanted and stay in the USA.

If I do it again, I'm going to go somewhere stay there get her pregnant, and watch her performance as a wife for a few years, then bring her and the kids here when the kids are like 5-7 or something.

Then if she ditches you, you only have maybe 9 years of child support instead of 16-18

I've posted elsewhere about the nightmare of imputed income, I COULD make a lot of money if I wanted, but I like taking it easy. However, child support can bill you -- without any recourse on your part-- for the amount they think you SHOULD be making, which can leave you owing big and fucked.

While I'm not even close to getting married this is what I would imagine would happen.

Think about it. If brought to the US she will immediately be bombarded with ad's, media outlets as well as just being influenced by everyday interactions. She won't remain a hermit for the rest of her days and will likely get a group of friends and coworkers who will tell her how she should be living as a woman in America.

Yep. The culture will bleed into her. Unless you're going to keep her chained up in the house, she'll interact with American women who will do everything they can to poison her. If she's particularly strong and adheres to her own cultural mores, she can survive this, but if she truly wants to "become American," it will be hard not to be influenced in some ways. One of my greatest relationships was with a married Spaniard. She was largely turned off by American women and their ways, and was forever a European that happened to live on US soil, even though all of her kids were born here. She retained ties to home (returning almost every summer), and almost all of her friends here are foreign-born. The difference for her is that she came here basically to follow her husband, you was coming to the US to teach. She didn't want to leave home with a man she wasn't married to, so she threw together a quickie wedding before they came over. They have a Spanish household. If he were American, she may not have turned out the same way.

Being in the military, I see the good and bad all the time. Alot of women keep their values especially Asian women. Key is to know the potential and have a solid relationship before you think about bringing her down.

Why bring her to the States when you can move away from the States? Unless you own your own business or make 70K plus living in America is overated. If you have done any real travelling you would know that. Depends on the type of women you like but think about making the move before you think about bring some broad out here to rape you. Plus there are so many imports here in the states it probably better to go that route. Latina women are in Miami, European in NYC, Asian in California.

A really good movie or documentary to watch is a Donkey in Lahore.
Aussie puppeteer Brian falls in love with Pakistani Muslim. Its a really good place to start to get a visual of all the red tape. The movie has a shocking unlikely ending.

A forum I've gone to for research has been russiawomendiscussion.com It could be NSFW depending on filters. The actual content is tame, but some filters ban it anyway.

The forum itself is a bit blue pill, BUT, lots of helpful people there to answer questions, help you get set up on your trip et al. There's also a couple consultants on the forum who *look* legit. It was the only legit forum I could find with a decent membership.

I've seen discussion on game type blogs about how supposedly, mail order brides from places like Russia and Ukraine statistically seem to work out better than meeting an American girl. I haven't seen hard data though.

When I was in the Navy back in the '90s, a lot of my friends had married Filipina women. They were kind of hit or miss. About half of them turned out to be great, loyal wives and mothers, the other half became "Westpac Widows". You know, the kind where you come off a 6 month deployment to find a 4 month pregnant wife? There was a bar in National City, CA called "The Trophy Lounge" that was supposedly known as a place to meet them. I never went there, but that was the big joke whenever a ship left for WESTPAC "Trophy Lounge will be busy tonight!"

Can't you find poor miserable disadvantaged girls born in the US who will marry you for your cash? I heard that there's a huge wealth disparity, so you should have enough homeless/ghetto chicks.
If you specifically want a foreigner, why not find one who is already rich, this way you know that she's into you and not your credit card.

I think every American man wishes that lower and working class American women were attractive as they are in other parts of the world. What you often get is what is shown on Maury or the Jerry Springer Show.

Fact is most lower class black and Latina chicks are often times hugely overweight and are into more ghetto/thug guys. Many of them also wear too much makeup and unattractive clothing. Trashy tattoos are not uncommon either. Many lower class white chicks are considered "white trash", again because of bad tattoos, overtly masculine behavior, drug addictions etc...

In America it is really only working class Asian chicks or more rural white chicks you would want most of the time. Problem is rural white chicks aren't near places where you can make money (also many are fat). Asian chicks many times are cliquey and only hang out with other Asians. I still believe Asian chicks that are working class are your best bet in America because their cliquey nature and submissive attitudes towards their parents' ideals of family & tradition are burned into them.

From what I've read working class or lower middle class girls in other countries are much more attractive.
