Does anyone have any experience with this? I cater events as a part time job while I'm in university and it seems that the bartenders at weddings and events make as much or more money with a much smaller initial investment.
I already have a truck and trailer, so the biggest expense is taken care of. I think all I need is a portable bar, coolers, glasses w/ racks, some black linens, etc. All pretty affordable stuff.
I am planning on dodging having to buy a liquor license by having the host of the event purchase the alcohol, on paper at least, so I just need the serving certificate that costs 25$ in my state.
If you have any experience with this I would appreciate your input. I'm almost finished with my website and I'm planning on purchasing the domain, business cards, a phone answering service, etc. soon.
