This came up from a conservative website. Why is she reading Dlisted to begin with? Supposedly Jose Canseco tweeted the name and phone numbers of women who accused of him of rape.

He is not under official investigation yet. But here are his tweets. This is essentially a reversal of what happens with a false rape, where its the woman rather than the guy who is outted in the public. Both parties should remain anonymous I think. Otherwise you open up possible viligante justice or ruining of reputation.

To me, this comes off as "buyer's remorse". I--nor anyone else besides Canseco and this lady--know what really happened. Anything is possible: Maybe he really did grab her off of the street or from a club and force himself on her.

However, my experience with these kinds of accusations is that what happened is probably not so open and shut. She probably consented to going somewhere alone with him, and they probably had what Canseco thought was consensual sex.

This could be simple buyer's remorse--she wanted more than just "wham bam thank you man" and cried "rape" when he didn't call her the next day or what not. It could be her remembering her LMR as being an unambiguous refusal to have sex. It could be a lot of things--and unless he recorded what went down, we will never know what really happened.

Its obviously a fake rape case. You would be ridiculed by your friends for life if you got drunk and banged Jose Canseco. It'd be similar to if I got drunk and banged a ladyboy. You have to take this one to your grave. Poor girl, I feel for her.

You make him sound like the elephant man. He is a former pro athlete, women love that shit and generally will see that as a trophy or high end notch on their belt.

Hell he even won a world series in 1989. Did he take steroids? yes. Did he write a book about steroids and out other players? Yes, but ultimately I think we should be thanking him for bringing this to light and not criticizing him.
