Alpha/Beta Red/Blue in movies/tv/etc.

I was thinking about the muppets the other day and was trying to figure out how they'd be interpreted by the manospheres.

This thread can be used to dissect culture into manosphere dualities.

Kermit: Beta
His wife is literally a pig and embodies everything that is wrong with American women

Animal: Probably the closest thing to caveman game on the show. Alpha.

Oscar the Grouch: Omega, but might have an alpha vibe when he has drugs to offer girls.

Bert and Ernie: Gay

Big Bird: Beta

Most of the other characters are either beta or omega.

Any show for children is made to shame and ridicule alphaness.

Kermit may be beta in behavior, but his fame and main role in the show is what makes him alpha. Kids just don't understand the difference and the learn to behave like idiots.

Liam Neeson in Taken was cool as hell.

Watch "Match Point" - Woody Allen's best movie in 25 years (yes, better than Midnight In Paris).

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is straight alpha.

I think he killed every person in that movie except him, his daughter, and her friend.

I've recently started watching Miami Vice (the original tv show not the movie). Crockett and Tubbs are alpha as fuck.

Totally. My nephews watch "Dora the Whore-a" or whatever it's called and I cringe. The are a bunch of these shows, all featuring smart, savvy girls with wimpy, confused boys following behind.

To find Alpha culture, you need to look to the past.

I see the changing point (for white folks, anyway) as 1991-92, when feminist-minded Nirvana and Hole exploded and TV became full of "strong women" solving crimes instead of "Magnum P.I." After that, macho was considered "ironic" by people, as if being a man of action and strength relegated you to professional wrestler cartoon status.

When we start calling Nirvana a feminist band I think we're taking this feminist label a little too far!
