Iloilo, the bullshit continues.....
Thursday: So after banging the spinner in front of her gay friend and finally kicking them out at around 5am, I slept the rest of the morning then decided to "discover Iloilo" in the afternoon. I first walked along the harbour near the hotel then over to the city hall area, then over near Iloilo university before deciding that the area sucked and wasn't worth checking out, plus its so damn hot here in April that walking around isn't too fun.
Once again I'm back at a Filipino mall, SM again, this cycle of getting drunk every night and spending hours inside malls is really getting on my tits but that's about all there is to do in some of these cities. Again, didn't do any approaches at mall, so just ate then went back to the hotel. Was debating just calling the spinner chick and have her come over after she got off work at 8pm, but decided to hit Smallville again and try to pick up a thicker girl. I picked up a nice button up shirt at the mall and prepared for the evening.
Same shit, different night. I was the only white guy in the club that night, there was a black American guy there but he was obese and wearing those God awful Croc slippers (at a club?). Posted up outside on the patio with a SML beer and just sat at a table and smoked. Once again, a group of people sits beside me and this new girl starts giving me the eye, I smile and she smiles back, as if she was a clone of the spinner chick she asks me "are you alone?". I spoke with her for a few minutes then she said she's going back in the club with her friends, maybe I should have told her to stay with me and engaged her more, but I wasn't there to pick up a skinny chick, I wanted a thick one.
Back in the club and I post up at the bar, after a couple of minutes, as if some magical game genie had granted me my wish, a thick girl comes by and is smiling at me, I say hi and she stops. We talk and dance then she introduces me to her friends. After about a half hour they bounce, so I got her number. I was in that club for about two hours and I got four different numbers, I wasn't really running around the bar but basically going back and forth from the bar to the smoking area. The last number I got, I was just walking back from the patio and this girl smiles at me, she was dancing so I just approached from an angle and started grinding on her ass. All I did was give her my name then told her that I had to go so we exchanged numbers quickly. Then I went home, a bit disappointed that I didn't pick up, but feeling good about the numbers.
Friday: Woke up hungover but saw that I had two messages on my phone already from girls I met the night before, things were looking good. One was the first girl, the thick one, now when I say thick, she wasn't fat but about 5'6 and maybe 125-130 lbs, she also had a car and her own business so I was glad to meet a girl who was more upper class than a lot of the ones that I've been running into. We planned to meet at 4pm at SM mall, I arrived on time but of course she was late but at least she was courteous enough to call me to let me know that
we're running late. Of course she was showing up with a friend, FML!
So we met at the mall and not only does she have a friend, her friend is a flaming homosexual. I tell her that I'm starving and want to eat ASAP, okay she says and her and the homo decide to go to KFC, again FML but she offered to buy so I let her and I got a sandwich that was disgusting and could barely eat it but I did since she was nice enough to buy it. The homo was talking my ear off and then in the conversation she tells me that she has a boyfriend but he lives in Davao, again, FML. There was a fiesta going on outside of town, about 20 minutes away and they offered to take me, saying it would be a really fun time, I considered it for about 2 seconds before deciding to say fuck that. We then go outside and walk over to Plazeula de Iloilo and check out the market, she was looking around at some shit and the homo was following her. I didn't want to take part is this BS so I told them I was tired and had to go pack my things for my flight the next day and then I ditched them and went back to my hotel.
The other girl who had texted me that morning was still texting and she was keen on meeting up, the only problem was that I didn't know which one it was out of the 3 other numbers I got, I was hoping it was this more mature one but wasn't sure. Anyway, she tells me she'll come right to my hotel at 7pm so I said sure and got ready for that. 7pm rolls around and I get a call from the front desk saying that "Kim is here", I tell them to send her up to my room. I open the door and its the girl who I was grinding with at the end of the night but didn't really speak to, just got her number. Only problem was that once she opened her mouth and spoke I realized that it wasn't a girl,
it was a fucking ladyboy!.
Man I was surprised, a bit pissed off and he/she sensed it and asked me "what wrong baby?", for fuck sakes, I asked he/she why the fuck he/she didn't tell me he/she was a tranny, "I thought you knew", I politely kicked him/her the fuck out of my room.
At that point I'm just fucking pissed and sick and tired of the BS and drama and being around so much gayness and general fuckery, I don't consider myself a big homophobe, I don't really give a shit about gays, I have some gay acquaintances back home but no gay friends and don't really like to hang out with them. But here in the
Philippines they're ubiquitous and a lot of girls have gay friends and I guess that they don't understand that a lot of western guys don't like being around gays, unlike them.
Anyway, I'm at the
end of my rope here with this shit so I call up the spinner chick and she comes over after work. It was my last night in Iloilo and I had an early flight, she was happy to come over and I banged her a couple of times and said good bye.
Peace out Iloilo, I've been in Manila since Saturday and am probably going to stay here for the remainder of my
Philippines trip, another 3 weeks.
I know that my posts may seem increasingly negative and I'm referring to some Filipinos as idiots and retards, well of course they're not, I"ve just reached that point that I think we all eventually reach when we travel for a long time, especially in the third world.
Back home in Nova Scotia, we call this experience the shit rope:

I've been slipping down the old shit rope lately so I think its time to just chill and be alone for awhile, stop moving around and focus on myself. Fortunately I rented this mint condo on the 38th floor of an upscale high rise in the Fort Bonifacio area of Manila, nice pool and nice gym. I'm gonna cut down on the boozing and try to focus on higher end, educated women here in Manila. I'll keep you guys posted on Manila because although a lot of it is a 3rd world shit hole, I think this place may be a little underrated, we'll see.
