Update on Philippines

This thread is now the 5 months 70 notches SE Asia Tour

I've returned to the Philippines to meet up with 20 Nation and Scotian and now a review of my perception on the Philippines is due. The difference between my last visit is the places I've stayed and the approach I've used. This time I did 50% online game & day game. And if I'd go back I would do even more.

Club and night game can be a lot of fun but you probably won't meet the most 'good girls'.
Online game is easy in Phil (dia.com) but it gave me some stress and I had some bad experiences.
The best and most rewarding experiences I had were from daygame.

So this 3 weeks of Hardcore travel resulted in the following stats:

Cebu

Cebu offers a great night life. The place to be in Mango square, you can go out in this place every single night. Watch out though, there are many lady boys and a decent amount of pro's around. There are bars around where you can sit down and have a beer and several clubs. I only tried the J'Avenue club here because I kept going back because it's hard to believe how easy it is to pull from this bar. Your competition will be Korean guys and some older white guys. You will require the following skills: some dancing (the music is pretty loud) and reading the pro's from the semi-pro's and normal girls. If you have any doubt, be sure to mention that you will not be paying. Work this in by telling it as a story: "So last night this girl asked for money, but I never do this..." etc.

Cagayan de Oro

The nightlife is not that great here. You have several bars featuring live music but they have tables and people are sitting, which makes it much harder to approach. My first night there I tried to run my normal "big club" night game and I failed miserably.

The way to go in CDO is day game and a specific way of day game. If you are white, you're value is really high here. You will get a lot of (positive) stares, I even got the most epic stare of all time (read below in memorable stories). Because your value is so high, if you approach straight up in daygame, you will get some reactions that seem as if they are not interested or sometimes like they are afraid of you. Don't read this as disinterestedness! Many girls will actually be intimidated and it takes a few minutes for them to overcome this reaction. So the way to go is to keep the interaction short, simple and polite and then hand them over your number on a piece of paper, saying you'd like them to text you later (make sure you pretend to look for it in your wallet, rather than making it obvious you're distributing a stack).

I have field tested this and I got an 8 out of 10 response rate. This includes cold approaches (zero IOI), waitresses and even the lead singer of a band on stage during their break (see first post of this thread). I did not have enough time to meet up with all of them. One of the girls I gave my number to, even came hanging out outside of my hotel hoping I would meet her there... which was a little bit unfortunate when she saw me coming how with my date.

Manila

Manila offers it all, night game, day game and online game are valuable here. I recommend mixing it up. I pipelined for Manila but I didn't have time to meet up with any of them. Day game and night game were working well for me. Stay in the right part of the city, don't stay in Ermita or Malate, the best you can find there is shoring and it's not even that easy over there. Makati is a way better part of the city, it's more upscale so you will find normal girls here.

Day game

Don't read their reactions as disinterestedness, it may just be intimidation. I could almost time it to 15 minutes when I would get their first text.

LMR

If you're meeting girls in day game or online game, chances are much higher you will run into some serious LMR, so be sure to dust off your LMR skills. I have had some of the hardest LMR's to over come (up to 9,5 out of 10). You will need to master the freeze-out, the right way to escalate and applying the right amount of caveman when needed.

The last weeks my LMR skills have improved a lot, I even invented new ways to overcome. I will post more about this in the game forum.

Online game

You can find amazing quality online. But you will have to train your eyes for it. I had some of my best experiences through online game, but also some really bad ones. They looked nothing like their pic and I just walked off on 2 occasions.

If you pipeline, focus on quality of your selection and also on the quality of the interaction (e.g. skyping a few times). I'm not as experienced as 20 Nation with online game but he gave me some very good pointers. I just went for the big numbers.. I got tons and tons of numbers but it became tedious to keep track and many were flaking. So better fewer interactions of better quality/attraction.

SMS

Text messaging will be your weapon of choice. Most of the girls here don't have smart phones so they will not have what's app or Line or any other chatting application. So you will be sending out a LOT of texts. You have to use your operator's PROMO's. At first I was uploading new credits every day and it became very expensive. But most operators have promo's available, where you can send a CODE to activate unlimited texting for a fix amount >> Use this, it will save you a lot of money!
