Yes, i am a resident of Odessa. My wife is from there and I got a home there. Odessa is one big tourist trap aimed at parting you from your money.
Before you go there you need to ask yourself what do you have to offer girls there?
If you can not objectively come up with reasons than you should avoid the place.

The hope to impress them with your foreign status will fall short than it would in any other city in the FSU(in most cities it falls short these days). They have been used to foreigners for over hundred years. A large percentage of them have foreign blood even. The sex tourists have been going there since fall of communism.
In Moscow and Kiev, and St. Pete foreigners are often used as a substitute for girls who can not secure a well to do local. Anglo groupies as they are called. In Odessa there are enough well to do locals or traveling business men from Moscow to go around for the really needy.The biggest problem is women in Odessa have higher chances of financial stability without the need for men than any other FSU city. Women make good money or those who do not think that they will in the future. Its a city based on import/export and there is no discrimination of gender there. The women there come closest to the feminist attitude of the west with the "i do not need a man" line.
The biggest problem is who is gaming who? The city is filled with female predators who will extract everything they can. They wrote the book on the subject and have been doing it for decades. I think the other FSU girls have read the manual they wrote. The Odessan girls even use wing girls to help them.The center is really a small main street with other square blocks and the girls use the grid system to effectively ambush guys. Its the only city where chicks will wait at the port, bus stops looking to meet you. Be aware that Odessa has just as many fancy expensive places as Moscow, Kiev and al lthe girls will get you there. There is not as many cheaper places as in Kiev. The few park benches are always taken, so you are forced to go to the restaurants. The city is like casino's in Vegas. Main purpose is to get you to spend money.
I would sell my flat if single, it is not a good city for coming out on top.
Also realize that the girls you see will usually be the same chicks over and over(not talking about tourists). Kind of like how Roosh explained Kharkiv as the center not being good logistically is similar to Odessa.Odessa can not have a metro because of the caverns under the city. Add the fact everyone seems to want to own a car and the streets were made for horse carriages. What you have is a city with bad traffic and the public transportation gets caught in the traffic so movement is slow. I can often walk from my flat in Arcadia same time bus would take.Add that the biggest employer is outside the city ,means most girls will not come downtown often. Every area has shopping centers and supermarkets.
Ask Kamiki about Odessa if you have doubts. He avoids it like the plague.
Actually I found girls looking more sexy in Kiev. Odessans have there own dress style, looks more like old navy(flower dresses,yuck). The Moscow circus was in town and the clowns actually made a joke that "you know when you are in Odessa when you see everyone looks like a clown"
Dressing GQ is overdressed there ,they prefer the latest" Odessa Fashions". That changes based on what the local fashion marketers say they should wear.There also are more fatties because women eat since they are not so hard up for men there.Alot of slim girls also.
BUT GOOD NEWS:you will see more top girls probably than anywhere else. A lot of rich women from all over the FSU go there to shop or relax. of course they already have a sponsor or are rich enough they do not need one. These girls even have plastic surgery and other enhancements. There is a phrase ODESSA BARBIES. Most will be running out of shops into BMW'S when you momentarily view them. Most live in area my flat is(Arcadia is the rich area). They have gated security so you can not stalk them, sorry, lol
You will also see more exotic looking chicks. Dark haired beauties that look like a cross Russian and Turkish , or Bulgarian,gypsies or Greek or Jewish(30k Jews in the city). This accounts for part of the beauty perception. A lot of guys like mixed looks and tans in the summer. Rare in FSU.
If you have further questions ask. beware of the Gypsy kids on the main street. Do not bare back either, very high aids rate.
Daily flights from Turkey and a ferry brings them in. All of south Ukraine has ferries from Turkey in the summer. Its a curse. Turks also have own night clubs and other businesses there, so they are a big presence.
