I am thinking of moving to NYC soon. I currently live in Long island. What neighborhood will be the best to live in logistically speaking? I prefer to date white, latin, asian women. Where are the best bars at? Also please consider price a little into the equation. I can pay around $750-1000 a month. I am willing to have a roommate. I don't want to travel more than 15 minutes.
For NYC members
Personally having lived here about 4 years you should move somewhere in Brooklyn. The price is right and you can get to anywhere easily. You don't need to live in the same hood as girls to bang them. Close by is close enough.
I recommend Astoria...you'll have a good mix of all types of girls including some Russian/Ukrainian girls. Still good access to Manhattan via the yellow line.
What's your vibe like?

Check out Bushwick in Brooklyn, it is slowly becoming gentrified, lots of hipster chics live there, and its a quick 20min jump into the city on the L.
Brooklyn > Queens for chicks.
I have recently moved to Astoria. Total cockfest. Yes there's ethnic diversity and all types of people, but the few single chicks who live here practically never hang out in Astoria anyway.
Getting on the L train to Brooklyn is a whole other world. Frequently when I'm taking the train to Astoria there are no cute chicks, or maybe a couple OK chicks.
Going to Brooklyn, you'll never have a train without some gorgeous girls.
Just ride the L into BK and the NQ into Astoria one day. You'll see.

This map is helpful but doesn't tell the full story, since it's just people who live in those areas. You also have to consider where people spend their time. Brooklyn is much more of a destination than Queens.

manhattan > all other boroughs for girls. but only if you can afford it. your budget will make that difficult.
my favorite place to live was the union square area from where i could target nyu coeds to my heart's content. i paid $1500/month and there were 5 of us (2008-09). logistically perfect.
but it all depends on what you're after, i guess. one of my buddies with yellow fever lives up in a boring part of midtown in order to be closer to Circle, another lives in hoboken to dick down more bro-hos, while yet another prefers hipster chicks in brooklyn. so it all depends on what you're looking for.

What's the source on that "singles" map. It seems like somewhat shaky data.
