Appart from what we hear from news every day about iran..I have the sensation that the iranian regimen as we know nowadays have the days counted..
You only have to see that most of the iranian population are young,and they're becoming tired of absurd religious laws that go nowhere and don't help to improve their lifes,economy or happiness..
What do you think will be the direction of the country?
I have found some interesting videos and documentaries about the country(you can see a country with many contradictions)

It seems like Islam is just fundamentally incompatible with Iranian culture over the long term.

The Young urban youth of Iran are displeased with the Regime. Yes. But the Rural poor still very much support it.
Iran will not fall any time soon unless bombs rain down from Israel/USA/West - If in case then the youth of Iran will have other shit to worry about. Reforms will come in time, the current mullahs will die off and more moderate youth will have to take the lead. The one thing I wonder though is what do the Young rich youth of Iran want? The ability to eat Mcdolanalds, watch porn and have multiple sex partners like the West? They want to be sloths like Americans or what? This is what I don't understand young nouveau riche develop this fetishism of Western "styles" and "culture" but people in the West with their heads on strait are trying to escape this mess. They really do not know what they want. A more secular and moderate Iran would be ideal but these youths push to be more "Western" is nothing more than a trap IMO. Modern Iran is barley 40 years old. Instead of the youth bitching like spoiled brats let them try and build frameworks in which to push for reforms. As much as the old block may try to hold onto power they are to money and future of the country and instead of crying to the West let them figure out a way to negotiate reforms whiten their land.

On a related note - Will be interesting to see what happens with Iran and Israel over the next year. Predicting something massive will go down...
