My family knows what I do. The girls I go out with know what I do for a living. I dont give them the details, but they know where to find them. Actually just noticed your post when writing the above one. Yes, I thought about the possibility my book becoming a bestseller. I didn't give it a fair chance though since i'm not really a highly skilled writer with captivating word use. They had to like the book on content which is unlikely with todays high demanding crowd. It would have been possible if i took the publishing house route and had a team of professional editors and proofreaders finetuning the book to fit the mainstream masses.

To answer your question, Yes, for a book signing tour or TV presentation I would give up anonymity especially if it would result in big sales/ high income/fame.
