Randomly discovered a smooth power move last night while rolling solo and suited.

I was sitting at the bar chatting with some older guy about life. A blonde in a group of 3 was making eye contact, which I held and smiled back before returning to the conversation.

While discussion biz and life he told me to "see it, want it, take it. That's why they call it the game, because everything around you is shaped by your actions"

So I order a bottle of bubbly, tell the bartender to send three glasses to the females, and the dude and I bounce to a table.

The girls get the glasses, the bartender points at me, I hold the bottle up and give a mischievous smile. Classy and powerful. Worked like a charm.

What other power moves have you guys used? Those golden moves spurred by a flash of random genius.

They joined us at the table and we had a blast. The old dude ended buying two more bottles, one bottle didn't last us 5 that long. Closed the blonde.

I see where the confusion is.

The blonde was making eye contact, but the friends were typical "6 who thinks shes a 10" type girls. Straight approaching them would have given a small chance of success.

The old guy was a legit cool cat and I wanted to talk to him more. But it probably looked like I was there with my dad. Again another thing not working in my favor from an outside view.

The bar was getting crowded and it was getting harder to hear, so It was time to grab a table.

Having success in the past with a move posted a long while back, grabbing a bottle with a couple glasses then just sitting down at a table uninvited and pouring glasses (credit to G I think), I went with my plan and just told the bartender to give them three wine glasses.

I knew the blonde would be down, but had to invite the friends as well or they would have cockblocked eventually. Worst that would happen is they would ignore my invitation, then I would just have to move on or target the blonde when she was alone at some point.

Well after their quick tuna huddle, they all decided to come over and we had a blast. They offered to pick up the second bottle but the older guy wasn't having it. Drinking and dancing ensued. I am sure I could have got a dance floor makeout with the blonde, but I like to save that stuff for private (or at least out of the line of sight of her friends). I ended up giving her a ride home. She invited me in but It was already late as fuck and I had to work the next morning. Gave her a kiss and told her shes making dinner for me for on sunday. She said she knows a bomb stuffed pepper recipe and her roomate would be gone for the next week. Should be a solid lead.



I was curious as to what other moves yielded positive results when the odds seemed to be against you. The bolder the better.

Sitting down at the table uninvited, like the table belongs to you has yielded good results to me. I did that at Starbucks and regularly do that at Lunch tables in shaded areas.

It's hard to describe in words, but your body language has to be congruent and sit down, take a moment and start talking to the girl like you have known her forever.

One time a girl was at table drinking her coffee, I was craving for coffee and didn't really want to walk far to get coffee, sat down at the table, started talking about the coffee , teased the girl about being stingy and not sharing her coffee and then calmy picked her cup took a sip like it was my cup of coffee and we shared the rest

Girls want you to do a bold move and put them in shock and awe, there is point in a pick up attempt where you have an Intuition that you can get away with anything, Do the Bold move and things can escalte pretty quickly......

Old guys with game and money are fun to be around. You always learn alot from them. The power move in this was probably the old mans game. By itself, buying drinks is not really a power move but buying drinks with major charisma, humor, and wit can feel like a power move. Its all how you pull it off.

An old man got me some pussy one time by gaming the girls at the bar and buying everyone drinks. He was a funny and clever old man who knew how to talk to women. He got them laughing, got them excited, and got them drunk. Then he told me..."now you take her upstairs and finish her off".

This dude really knew what he was doing and I learned alot from him. Charismatic speaker who asked great questions and teased them just enough.

It wasn't just that he bought drinks. It was how he bought drinks.

i havent done it much, but every time i have bought a drink for a girl i just get a random one, and they drink it even if they dont like it. ive had good results with that.

any of you guys ever get success from girls that offer to buy you drinks? thats what happens to me more than me buying girls drinks.

Not of all of us can perform our jobs to standard while suffering from sever lack of sleep and a hangover.

Yeah I remember a cool old cat I saw in a bar a couple years back. He was suited up and the bartender handed him his tab, essentially cutting him off. He crumpled up the bill, threw it at her, and told her to get him a gin a tonic. She did.

She then told me not to hang out with him unless I liked coke and strippers. Oh yeah girl, you totally just talked me out of it .

I like the old Rodney Dangerfield movies, I aspire to be that type of old guy one day.

Some power moves I've stumbled into.

1. Walk into a place and get name dropped/welcomed by the band performing.

2. Walk into the walk in cooler and grab a bottle of champagne for me and a chick. Requires having the place on ridiculous lock down

3. Having a personal cab driver who comes to get you at the drop of a hat.

4. Taking shortcuts through restricted areas (I used to have security passes through some different buildings and could cut through them in bad weather instead of walking down the street)

5. Walk into a place you have on lock and the bartender hands you your drink right away even though the bar is 3 or 4 deep all around.

6. Skipping lines to get in places

7. Having connections to sick boats, car rentals, etc.

8. My friend lived by a private beach the owners would let us use. hard to really get that one, more luck of the draw there.

9. Having rare, unique or interesting liquors/wine/champagne on hand.

10. Break up a dog fight at the park. Dangerous, but chicks dig it
