Minsk, Belarus Data Sheet

Nobody here so far. Went to Dozari tonight, me and my friend were the only foreigners there. Completely destroyed the venue, I heavily made out with a 8.5 in front of her best friend (who was also a 8.5) and tomorrow I have a date with the best friend, she actually didn't care I was making out with the original chick. Suffered two jealousy scenes from girls that got upset that I was talking to other girls. In the end my friend had to pull me out of the club because I was too drunk but I was still flirting non stop with girls. I'm not lying if I say 80% of the girls in the club were trying to hit on me, and some of them got quite upset because I wasn't paying attention to them. The ratio was easily 80-20% and there was no competition whatsoever. Never happened to me in my life (and Kiev was awesome a couple of years ago). I would move here in a whim, the potential is immense.

After the club we went for sushi in the restaurant next to Dozari. My friend started chatting with a girl there (a 7). He's still with her. I came back home because I was too drunk and her friend wasn't hot. My friend doesn't know the community and essentially doesn't have any game. It's that easy.

We had no problems to get in. The key is the same as in other places. Arrive super early and go VERY well dressed. I was dressed on jeans, a shirt, suspenders and a tie, and a nice Diesel jacket on top of it. We had no problems whatsoever, although we arrived at 11:45 and had to wait a good two hours before the venue really started rocking. We'll definitely go back tomorrow.

I have been learning for the last year and this was my first test. I discovered that my Russian is not good enough to pick up on a loud venue. I generated massive attraction with a couple of ones but had to leave because I ran out of things to say in Russian. It was a pity because they were the hottest ones I spoke to. My friend doesn't really speak Russian, only a few random phrases. The way we operated was by generating value on the dance floor and with the ones that actually spoke some English, which were more than I thought at first.

Great data sheet, I can't wait to visit Belarus. I'm going to spend all of August in Minsk doing a Russian language course at MSLU and might even get a chance to visit some 2nd tier cities. You wrote that you were there in June, do you know if the students leave the city during the summer or are most of them from Minsk anyway?

Went to Dozari a second time, was much worse than the first. There were a lot less people and the ratio was around 60% men 40% women this time so the vibe wasn't the same. There were also very few real hotties so it was a disappointment all in all.

I opened the best one there, a solid 9, who responded really well. However, my Russian stalled and ended up drinking a shot with her that ended up being too strong and that made her leave me. I've discovered that if you are a foreigner in this countries it's quite easy to build attraction but you can't fuck it up even once or you bomb.

Then I opened another one in the dancing floor (a 7.5) who spoke English but both my friend and her friend were being pains in the ass and we had to split.

Then my friend made me go to Loft which sucked badly, don't ever go. I went back to Dozari and stayed there for a while but with no real results. Many mobster like guys with younger women this time.

In the end, it was a fun trip. The potential is definitely there although I don't know what's the truth behind the country, if the super easy paradise of the first night or the much harder struggle of the second. I guess something in the middle as usual.

It's important to point out that speaking Russian is a big plus here, mine was not good enough which fucked up potentially very good deals. To maximize your chances, you have to be at least conversational or get lucky and find girls who speak English, but even then it's not going to be good. Dancing well is also a big big plus.

Will try to come back in September for a longer period, let's see how it goes. Luisaceo, how did you manage to get that Russian lession in the MSLU?

Also, have anyone tried to do direct street game here? Does it work? I was quite hungover these two days so didn't try but maybe there's potential there as well.

Daygame is almost impossible in Minsk because the girls are very cautious of foreigners.

Even if you spoke some Russian? Why are they so wary of foreigners in the street but really open to be approached in clubs? (I believe you, I found the same phenomenon in Ukraine, I'm curious to know why though)

Because it is a police state.A stranger talking to random people in the street is suspicious. In clubs you have been already approved by the door so they are not afraid.
Ukraine is better in this regard because there is not so much surveillance.

@Lucky Luke The university offers Russian courses for foreigners on all levels. I chose Minsk because it was much cheaper than courses in Kiev or Moscow. I just contacted them about it and they are currently helping me with the visa and already made a dormitory reservation. If anyone wants more info on the subject feel free to PM me. You can also check out these links:

There is also another course offered by the Belarusian State University:

I am currently in Wroclaw and I'm meeting next week a girl from Minsk who used to study at MSLU for a language exchange. It would be cool to have some English speaking contacts in the city before I go there in a few months as my Russian is currently too limited for gaming.

The language barrier is my main concern. My guess is that the girls that are into foreigners (and speak decent English) would be much easier but probably of lesser quality, could that be right? Although the exotic factor is always a plus, I find that here in Poland if you go to a club that is packed with foreigners ALL the girls speak English (and are usually "groupies"), while if you go to a club that is Polish only, many girls seem to struggle a bit with the language. Are there any clubs in Minsk where foreigners usually go to? My guess is that if you don't speak Russian, your game is basically "find the groupie" and hope for the best.

From my (very short) experience, I found that most girls were at least open to talk to me, speaking English or not, although I might not be a very good example as my Latino looks usually work well with Eastern European girls (not the case, at all, with Asians for example). Obviously, the Russian bit made things a lot more difficult with the ones that didn't speak English at all.

I didn't see any other young foreigners in the city in the time I was there, only 40-50 somethings from Arabic countries that I guess were there for sexual tourism.
