I didn't understand the fascination with foreign women. But I had recent dates via the internet with stereotypical D.C. women. Aging women are the worst. If they are semi-hot (age-adjusted), then they have delusions of being treated like they were years ago. Sorry, but the men who chased you before are now old, fat, ugly, and married. One woman droned about her "career" and nice house. Like Barak Obama, I thought "You didn't build that." Her ex-husband bought it with a real career.

Another middle-aged woman wrote me online. Her online information said she doesn't believe in sex until after marriage. And she actually expects some guy to marry her at her age! Totally delusional.

The most recent is younger, educated, and stuck up, but my resume is impeccable. After she flaked on the first date, I rescheduled drinks. She remarked "smooth" when I split the check, and was impressed when she told me she wasn't kissing me and then I grabbed her anyway. My reward for persistence and game was a last-minute flake on the second date. Now I ignore her text apologies and entreaties.

In contrast, I had recent interactions with a Dominican woman and a Spanish/Brazilian woman. They were sweet, appreciative, feminine, and affectionate. Maybe it is a coincidence. But I feel like American women are just intentionally flaky to be rude and abusive. It doesn't distinguish good men from bad. It just rewards men who approach large numbers with low emotional investment. Roosh and Paul Janka didn't invent their styles - they were engineered by women.

Actually meeting me for a drink was a huge favor before she was attracted to me. Now that she is attracted to me, last-minute flaking is her error. I'll put this in equations.

My response to the woo-text would have been simply, "Same here" - it's the truth, though. If the girl doesn't realize I'm also going to be selective with her as she wants to be about guys, then I've already moved on to the next one. She's assuming her pedestal exists from the start. Knock her off it and see if she still sticks around.

Also, "we should hang out" is a super weak text proposal, even after a good 1st date. Stay away from making open-ended requests like that. "We should hang out" is almost always interpreted as "come over and give me un-earned sex whenever I feel like it." It doesn't work well. Stick to solid invites (let's meet tomorrow at 9 for drinks at Joe's). Let her put in the effort to propose alternatives if she can't make it then. You can gauge her interest from that alone easily.

Here is my logical barrier. Men complain today, but frustrated lovers have existed forever. Theoretically whereever there are 50% men and 50% women, everyone gets matched up. In economic terms, markets clear. So how do I tell if a market is a good deal? The answer is price (for a given quality).

This forum taught me the term hypergamy. I think this phenomenon is due to social media technology. If hypergamous American women are demanding too high a price, then markets won't clear. Indeed, we see evidence of lower marriage rates. Markets are not clearing because American women have foolishly priced themselves out of the market. These hypergamous women are fat, unfeminine, and, make men jump through needless hoops. It is like a ticket scalper who prices his inventory too high. The smart customer waits because he knows the scalper will eventually dump his inventory for nothing.

Maybe at one time, "nice guys" were just obsequious losers. In that environment women might have prudently screened out those guys. But if women reward jerks, then there is a simple strategy - be a jerk. It is like no limit poker players folding to small bets, fearing a tricky "monster" hand. The obvious counterstrategy is to make many small bluffs. No wonder players have contempt for women who are easily tricked.

The U.S. economic and social market has deteriorated for successful STEM-career men. More women can now support themselves, and fewer try to earn mens' approval. But things have definitely improved for irresponsible, long-haired, shiftless, travelling writers. It's enough to make some men switch.

Conversely, things have improved for feminine U.S. women. It is little wonder that mercenary Russian women can immigrate to the U.S. and easily milk rich boyfriends and husbands.

In regards to online dating for guys over a certain age, there are three categories of flakes -

1. Flake with counter offer. She bails (via text or voice) but specifically states that she would like to reschedule. This is the only flake a man should respond to by scheduling another date.

2. Flake with no counter offer. She bails (via text or voice) but does not specifically state that she would like to reschedule. If the flake is via text, never respond. If by voice, tell her that you will call her (you won't) another time. Block her online profile and ignore any further texts or calls. She's done.

3. Flake with no notice. Block her online profile and ignore any further texts or calls. She's done.

The key to online dating for guys our age is a consistent system. Keep sending out those messages to maintain options for dating. It can be very demoralizing - but with a thick skin, persistence, and a sense of humor, a man can make it work. All online efforts should be matched with efforts out there in real life.

And flaking is what women do... it's a feature, not a bug.

They're no better in person. I've had just about as many flakey bitches in real life, and I've been off dating sights for years (just recently went back on for shits)

I remember this one girl from a few months back...I got a makeout session at a bar and she wanted to meet up later that night but I had to wake up early. She lived about 30-40 min away.

When I texted her, "When are you going to be in the area next?" she proceeded to give me this tirade, "That's not how this works. If you want to see me again it will have to be under the context of a proper date." blah blah blah. She wanted to be wined and dined essentially. This girl was a 7 at best. Chubby upper arms, white and pasty.

I gave her an honest question and kept it casual, and this dumb slut who I'd been sucking face with, a complete drunk stranger in a bar, wanted to be ROMANCED.
