Is it possible we are overreacting to people finding out who we are? What the fuck is a beta going to do if he does? Report me for getting high or track me down and confront me for going through these sluts like socks?

I have been giving girls a fake name lately. They aren't allowed to use my laptop because "its broken" [Image: wink.gif]

No. People can be fucking insane and malicious.

It doesn't take much personal data to cause real problems.

I knew one girl who did a blog about guys she was dating (like a female game blog, I'd guess) - she got bad things posted through her door, accosted at work - and people forwarding the less tasteful bits to her employers/teachers, etc. This is a girl in a female-sex empowered world, I can only imagine what a guy blogger would get.

Regardless of whether her blog was tasteful or not, people shouldn't invade every facet of your life because of it.

Look at Roosh and the hate-crime thing.

And blogs are really small stuff; the wider issue is identity fraud etc. You've probably all read news articles where girls have set honey-traps for guys, stolen their passwords, bought stuff online with their cards etc, and I know people who've gone through those things.

And as for 'what will betas do?' Beta's will stalk worse than girls. I've had ex-bf's stalk me over the internet and even one turn up to my house. It's fucking creepy.

This is where you put up a blog with a news theme and a story about how famous you are for saving kittens from a fire, winning the mega millions lottery and going out with famous celebrities.

This mostly happens from online dates. If you approached a chick in person there would be less chance she would look you up online. Because she can get a better read on you in person before she gave you the number.

Online they have no idea if you're a creep, even if your game is tight. Online chicks told me they google the guy, especially if they feel something is off.

If she is dating the guy and it's getting serious they will do a background check.

Not true. It doesn't matter how you meet a woman. They run right home and punch your name in to see what they can come up with. When you meet online you might do it right then and there, because she's already on the computer. It doesn't mean she doesn't do the same thing if she meets you out somewhere. If she's seeing a guy for a while, she might then do something more extensive, but chicks are quick to see if you've got a social networking/dating profile up somewhere now to see what you're about.

beware. girls are very handy with technology. give them one letter of your name and they find out where you work. Once a bitch called to the office to ask about me. Another one left a note at my desk.

We need a serious thread on how to keep girls out of our archives.

This is what I'm talking about. Guys don't understand the kind of damage that can be dealt.

Being a 'womaniser' in America can cost jobs and business opportunities. Unless one is a rapper or some celebrity, this type of behaviour is frowned upon.
And no one is better than leveraging private information than lizards.

I am speaking to a Euro lizard (casually, no sexual interest in her) and she will FB stalk her dates or dig up online just to see their exes and analyse what type of dude he is.

Most people don't want to hand all their chips over to someone else so I see where Gmac is coming from.

I´m fucked if a girl googles me. I took this picukup course thing in Buenos Aires and when one of the teacher dudes went to Europe to start a new pickup school or whatever he asked for me to do a testimonial. I had a girlfriend at the time and didn´t think much of it. Now if you google my name you can link to that site with a pic of my and my ex and its pretty gay.

This guy wont delete the fucking thing either.

I've been thinking about writing up one since this thread started. Might take me a couple of days.

Maybe I just know some messed up stories, but in my social circle;

- Money stolen/stuff ordered online
- profiles deleted - offensive messages sent to friends/family
- stuff posted at work and at home through doors
- forwarding sensitive info to other people
- threats by beta boys
- personal info posted on 4chan and sites like that

I had one girl personally who I left alone for 5 minutes with my phone unlocked and in arms reach; by the time I'd used the toilet she'd deleted every female contact and sent offensive messages to some. It was days before I even realised, and I never did get some of those contacts back.

I've had girls see a bank statement and think that makes them entitled to whatever I have because I can 'afford' to replace stuff.

I've been stalked over the internet by multiple girls I've dated - even years after I've last spoke to them.

I've had guys I've never met (beta friends) threaten me via email.

This is without them knowing the stuff I post online. I know one guy who ran an internet store as his main source of income; someone one day deleted it, putting him in massive damage control across his whole life.

I'm not saying this is an every day thing and every girl is some super hacker out to get even, but this sort of thing does happen, and it isn't worth it to find out whether it'll happen to you.

It works both ways.

I met a lawyer (I know, I know) chick. Early 30s. It was like a disguised business deal to be her babies daddy (looking to settle down). Straight to the personal questions and NO patience for banter, even though she was flirty as fuck in texts before I got there. I've not gotten it this strong before. I should have switched to provider game, but I let her get under my skin so I decided to just have fun in a different way.

I told her I don't release any personal information due to my job (which is mostly true) and then told her I already had her checked out and rattled off her name, place of work, and living address. Kodak moment. She instantly had the tables turned.

She hung around for a bit - while I laughed and then explained it was from google. She ended up leaving shortly after.

I get this hamster note later with things about she already has plenty of people to have fun with, there was too much of an imbalance of information, I shouldn't be thinking about what she wants before getting to know her, etc.

It felt good at the time, but I should have just went provider game and got the bang and then ditched. Might have gotten a stalker though.

My ex girlfriend had my iTunes password. Little to my knowledge, she was using the Find My iPhone app to find out where I was. We hadn't been dating for 4 months and she was checking to see where I was going at night and during the day. Women's insecurities I tell ya. Huge red flag to me if they are Googling you.

Ok, this shit had me laughing. I met a girl from POF a few days ago. Like 40 yrs old but fuckable. We're texting and she asks for my last name. Of course I give her a fake last name and then she asks for my birthdate and middle name later on. I tell her to stop trying to look up my records and she says she always does this with guys to make sure they're child molesters or anything like that. I then tell her to stop being paranoid and she says I'm a little boy because any grown man would understand the safety precautians that women need to take these days. That's the first time a girl has EVER tried to get my personal info like that. She was being creepy [Image: confused.gif]
