Orthodontic Braces And Game

Orthodontic Braces And Game

I'm 34, about a year and a half or so ago I finally decided to get braces.

When I was younger, my parents wanted me to get them, but I refused, thinking it was a pretty barbaric thing to do, to move teeth around with wires like that.

Well, the reality is actually pretty barbaric, but after the first month or so, you adjust to it and they're not too bad at all.

I should have done this years ago, I'm a good looking guy, and this was definitely holding me back, even if I may have been in denial about it.

I never noticed people's teeth unless they were atrocious, but now that I have braces, I always notice people's teeth. That leads me to believe that some of the middle class girls I encountered in life, many of whom had had braces, definitely noticed and may have dinged me for not having perfect teeth.

It just is what it is.

My teeth are almost perfectly aligned now, I think the braces will come off within 6 months or so.

Since I'm stuck in America until then (unless I want to delay even more or get an orthodontist abroad), I'm putting the time to good use working on ways to make remote income.

When I first left Asia, I told myself I'd come back with perfect teeth, lasik, and remote income.

I'm still mulling the Lasik over, but I'm pretty close to accomplishing the other two.

As far as the reactions of others, it's been a non-issue, and even if it were an issue, I'd do it anyways.

I look younger now, so that's cool, I already look youthful to begin with, but the braces look great! I think I may actually miss them when they're gone, haha.

If you're thinking about doing it, don't, just do it.

They've made my life better, my confidence has increased because I'm indisputably more attractive now, and they're not even off yet.

It's great, if you're on the fence, don't be, go get them, just make sure to go with a reputable dentist.

It's an investment in yourself, and the two years or so it takes for them to do what they need to do will pass anyways, whether you get them or not.

So, in two years you can either have perfect teeth or you can have teeth that may affect your confidence or the way others perceive you, in a negative manner.

The time will pass either way.
