You may be thinking big deal, but here it is a big deal. Today is a holiday all over the FSU, I was out tonight and it was pretty wild. Breaking news

Ok my mood has changed somewhat.

I have been seeing a young girl for a few weeks "Yulya", she's been living at my apartment. Yesterday I had a date with another girl, I was walking around with the date when I bumped into her. I don't know how to feel, she is sitting next to me right now, and I'm calm as anything as I usually am when I hear bad news.

This is a typical scam in Ukraine. The girls pull it at locals as well. Typically it is to get the dude to marry her (and may later involve the meeting with her mother/father/brothers). Less frequent option is to get the money for "abortion" (this is the typical option long distance though). The least likely option is that she's really pregnant and doesn't know what to do - but it is very, very unlikely because the girl who's dating foreigners is usually fairly experienced in all that stuff, and always has an agenda.

Those kind of scams are less commonplace here in the west of the country.

I don't think she has any kind of agenda at the moment, just think she was getting revenge for the things that had happened in the last couple(going through my gmail account and her finding me on a date with another girl)

Oh International Women's Day was great.

They do not check it for STDs in Ukrainian hospitals. I don't think even here in USA they check you for STDs; why would they, they're not going to have bareback sex with you. Anyway only HIV and syphilis could be detected via the blood test. Every other STD requires the urine sample, scrub or visual observation.
