A lizard from work recommended that I try this, it works wonders for her. She's sporty.

Has anyone heard of it? I want a revolutionary way of beefing up the forearms. Yes, I've heard of farmer's walks, got the super crushers, and own a forearm roller.

But I was interested in the below. You start this rotation on it by either slapping it or pulling this tug string. It sets of this ball inside it spinning and the top ones are equivalent to holding a vibrational spherical object providing up to 60lbs of resistance.

The torque supposedly works the muscles in a different fashion.

Thoughts?

Nah I wouldn't recommend it to someone trying to build strong muscular forearms.
Building forearms is related to 2 factors when lifting. Weight and Girth of an object.

Lifting specialized fat bars or odd objects that do not allow you to completely wrap your fingers around the circumference is what builds size.

Imagine trying to Deadlift or Bench Press something with the grip of a baseball. The wider and more difficult the grip the more flexors are used.

Other forearm builders include pullups on awkward surfaces, lifting cement blocks, throwing tires around, etc.

I've used them to help with blood flow into my hands. Sort of like a massage. I used to shoot pistols a lot. Maybe a couple thousand rounds a week. I started to notice that because of managing all of that recoil I couldn't make a solid fist anymore. After I started using a similar device my dexterity improved.

Moma, you and this search for the easy way out...

There is not easy way out, you have to work your body in a way it has never been worked before, then you will see the results you want.

Before I opened this thread I thought it was going to be about the lottery. It's up over $300M now, but I keep forgetting to buy a ticket.

Heh me too.

If you want grip strength do heavy barbell exercises. Deadlifts and bent over rows have done wonders for my grip strength.

Velkrum,

That 2 dumbbell thing looks good. I'm gonna do them tomorrow as my forearms aren't growing at all.

The winning $336 million dollar ticket was sold in Rhode Island.

Tried that thing once. I think it's good for training your wrist if you play racquet sports, but there are definitely better exercises for your lower arm.

I just felt like it was wanking practise.

I bought one recently. I remember having used one as a teen and finding it super tough.

I guess I must be stronger now because it wasnt much of a challenge. Its not bad, leaves you with that nice burning sensation.

Its just 20 dollars, so if you do get one, just add some grip exercises when its no longer challenging.
