The 24 hour chains are pretty flexible and are going to make life very tough for the big chains in Australia. Fitness First had to cut 25% of their gyms, a lot of that has to do with 24 hours chains who don't have restrictive contracts.
How To Workout At Gyms For Great Prices And No Contracts
This is why I'm so happy to have discovered Convict Conditioning back in January and I'm getting good results from it.
Bodyweight exercises are fun and require very little equipment, but I did have to sift through the book and apply my own broscience to it to figure out what worked and what didn't. I get much better results if I keep the reps low and the lifts heavy than if I were to actually follow the program and work up to 2 sets of 30-40 pushups or something like that. CC is also much more practical for traveling.
Though from the comments it looks like some guys pick up chicks at their local gyms, so good for them.

“I have a very simple rule when it comes to management: hire the best people from your competitors, pay them more than they were earning, and give them bonuses and incentives based on their performance. That’s how you build a first-class operation.”

If you want some PDF's on bodyweight exercise with little to no equipment, send me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
I've also been using discounted memberships that I can find from Groupon as well, I'm fed up with signing contracts. I've found a gym website called http://searchgym.co.uk where you can buy sessions and passes for gyms... deffo worth a crack! I work up and down England so was good for me to find a gym, purchase passes before I go to the place. Any other sites you guys use that I can benefit from?
Hey, I also go to the gym regularly and it is very tedious to find some gyms that have monthly contracts all over the world so thanks a lot for this tip. Is this kind of deal just possible for gyms that are in the USA or is this already an international service?
My local YMCA runs specials all the time, I'm in right now for $30 a month.
In NYC boom fitness and planet fitness will probably be the cheapest. I have never been to boom but heard its good. I personally have a membership at equinox, expensive but well worth the money
